Good flavor on the flower, you get the berries for sure and the diesel comes through. Effects seem more balanced to me, buds are dense with slight foxtailing. Potency is average.
I used to have lockouts. They told me to use RO water. Finally a helpful member of a forum turned me on to this fertilizer from start to finish in sunshine mix #4. No PH meters just have to watch nutrient strength so you don't burn your plants. I've converted over, I fully believe this is the best medium and fertilizer to avoid deficiency and lockouts. Stay green!
I had a spot of mold growing on one of the colas later in bloom. All the other varieties were fine as was this one after that cola was removed. I chalk it up to an environment issue but an issue none thr less. This was the best yielding variety of the lot so she does pack on weight. Very good smell and taste. Trimming her was not as enjoyable. The small sugar leafs are everywhere. Seemed to take a medium-low level of nutrients best. I will likely grow this variety again in the future.
@smoking_hills9, thanks for the compliment! 🙏 and you are 100% right, I nearly cut it all out and replaced it with rope but figured I'd give it a shot. Once this harvest is complete I am going to use some self tapping screws then string it with a small rope for the next harvest.
I've grown Dutch passion orange families seeds.
-4 weeks Veg 8 week flower
-F.I.Med (not topped) only once
-defoliated 3 times
-315 watt C.M.H
-5 gall pots
-watered every 3 days
and pulled 4 ounces per plant dry.
Your buds look nice but if your looking to pull more dry weight in a MUCH shorter grow time keep it simple. Ignore the mainlining and topping and screen and all that BS. Just grow 4 plants in the same space.
Get a bigger light. 315 watt cmh or a couple cob led bars at 240 watt a peice.
I dont use a screen and my plants support the buds weight. The FIM keeps the plant even height.
Just my two cents. Good luck and the bud does look great good job.
