Right after topping the main stem, the side branches were gently but firmly forced into the horizontal using LST hooks to break the apical dominance. The plant recovered from the intervention surprisingly quickly and immediately redirected its growth energy to the lower shoots. Within just a few days, the fixed branches stood back up powerfully, so the growth is now massively spreading out. A beautiful, even canopy is already forming, perfectly utilizing the light and laying the foundation for a perfectly structured, homogeneous area in the setup.

After a targeted defoliation and topping round mid-week, it went straight into the new substrate so that the root system can really kick into gear. To deliberately avoid a too massive final height in the setup, height growth was consistently slowed down this time.
