Caertner Unfortunately, I left them alone for a few days... they started to grow some moss... it's time to repot... uh, to transfer. ;) Since it's already the end of the first week, the transfer will happen in week 2.

Caertner Has recovered a bit from the shock. Leaf veins are dark green, ready to go. I hope the water gets to you. The breeder specifically breeds for (R)DWC. Here in an XDWC.

Caertner This one seems to have had a rough start. Germination wasn't optimal and the repotting probably didn't help either... (Video) At the beginning of week 4, she's still a bit small.

Caertner Somehow, it's taking quite a while here. Next time, I won't have any sympathy for stragglers... or will I? I planted 3 seeds, two popped up right away, and one took its sweet time, about 2-3 days, before sprouting. Unfortunately, it also seems like she's generally a bit slow. Slowpoke Liese...

Caertner Somehow, the Pilot is becoming my second arch-nemesis. So far, the TropicanaCookies have successfully fought back three times... 1x bent, 1x too wet, 1x balcony door open... The Pilot is just taking a beating. First, problems with germination... some algae growth, and now: THRIPS!!! This time I'm treating myself to neem oil. I need to take better care of them. The roots don't look particularly good either... maybe I'll bring the next water change forward. But it's only been just under a week. Update: Neem oil arrived by mail... applied it right away. Now just spray regularly, and that should take care of them. You can hardly see the thrips, but they leave those ugly white spots (looks like lime stains). Apparently, they're not really harmful... I don't care, a pest is a pest and has no place on my smoke.

Caertner It's slowly coming along... getting stronger all the time. Thsipse has handled it well. Training is a bit more difficult since the stem is already very fleshy and not really flexible. So it's more about directing growth than bending and breaking...

Caertner The week was a bit defoliated. Unfortunately, I tore off some of the outer skin... but it has healed well. The plan is to strategically remove the upper sun leaves to get more light on the lower side shoots, so the plant can stretch more over the lid... Somehow the little pilot is resisting with a very thick and fleshy stem. I might have to train her differently.

Caertner Amazing how you pluck the chicken, a week later you see nothing anymore. Unfortunately, the stem is already very thick and fleshy. So be careful when bending. I managed to get one LST clip on... This week is all about clean training...

Caertner Bend a little and tie it down... And off to the flowering tent! But somehow this month is turning into the topping month. Topping wasn't really the plan... it just got caught on the crossbar while transplanting. But I can test my cloning skills further. The first one reached the water after 10 days... just clamp it in the pot with a cloning collar, the air stone does the rest.

Caertner Great stretch she's put on. Unfortunately, you can't really see that in the picture. Soon better pictures than those from the video surveillance...

Looking great brother! 🔥🌱 She's looking healthy and vigorous already, and those roots are looking fantastic. Thanks a lot for trusting our Pilot, we can't wait to follow her journey all the way to harvest. Keep us updated! 🙌💚

@World_Breeders, I'm also glad to have the chance. Unfortunately, the start wasn't really good and it's completely my fault. But she's strong... As soon as the roots were in the water, she really started to push!
