WILLIAMSII_Fr_Farm Here I am back for a run that will delight the taste buds of sweet-toothed folks like me. -Sugar Larry @Exotic_Seed x2 -BubbleGum @Zamnesia_seeds x2 -Gelato 41 @WeedSeedsExpress x3 On the substrate side, I prepared my pots with a layer of pumice at the bottom, up to the drainage holes. I then prepared 2 substrate mixes in which I added 10/15% pumice as well as 5% Big Plant @OrganicsNutrients. For the first mix, I added mycorrhizae and placed it at the bottom of the pots up to halfway; this will encourage deeper rooting, boosted root colonization, and better uptake of trace elements & micronutrients. For the upper half, I added trichoderma to be close to the young roots; they will protect them from intruders wanting to attack the roots and root hairs, which are extremely fragile during the first weeks. Mycorrhizae and trichoderma each need their reserved space; in fact, by putting them together, what should be a real asset becomes completely counterproductive, as they waste their energy fighting each other to colonize as much substrate as possible instead of working for your plants... hence the importance of making separate substrates. So we have 4 pots, 3 of which have two seedlings each; I will make the selection later. They are meant to undergo significant work on the canopy, which means a very long vegetative stage but also a much more abundant harvest. Main-lining is an excellent technique to optimize small growing spaces, so stay tuned to learn more about this technique that seems simple at first glance but still has certain mistakes to avoid. See you in a big week, Peace bros 👊😜😻

WILLIAMSII_Fr_Farm Day 12 of VEG, everything is going well and they got a watering with Allzymes @Cellmax_Nutrients. Nothing really special to mention this week except that the temperatures have risen, so I'm cooling things down by placing ice packs in front of the air intake to cool things off a bit. I'm gaining a few degrees, which limits the risk of heat stress and regulates the evapotranspiration of my plants. It's simple and effective. Catch you later for the next update...

WILLIAMSII_Fr_Farm 19th day of VEG, the plants are a nice green and have a good growth rate. With the moon being in its waning phase, it's the perfect time to do the first trimming, which involves cutting the top of the plants just above the node that looks the most vigorous; with a strong and well-formed shoot. Then, I finish by cleaning the branches of the lower nodes, and leaving the leaves if possible. The trimming slows down the plants, and that's perfectly normal, but they bounce back beautifully a few days later. Catch you later for the next update... Let's Grow, bros! 👊😋

WILLIAMSII_Fr_Farm .. Semaine 6, Jour 38 VEG...
