Germinated in wet paper towel with 80*F seed mat, they popped in 48 hours, had long 1 inch roots, so I transplanted into solo cups. They took extremely well and sprouted within 3 days.

Defoliated, Fimmed, Topped and a little bit of low stress training to get these guys to spread out evenly. They are fully recovered and growing at an exceptional pace.

First week of flowering and I had read the plants will grow alot, and I was expecting this much growth so quick. The plants are getting noticeably wider and taller daily! This is so fun!

Pistils starting to show, found a male and removed him :(. His name was Angel and he was as fat as Alpha and Addison in the front but he had to go!

Continued my compost tea feeding regime, gave these girls lots of good bacteria and microbes to eat all the soil up. I used homemade compost from my worm farm and composted food scraps.

The back left pheno is having noticeably more and faster bud devolpment than the rest. These girls doing fantastic though, struggling with the night time temps but still going strong!

2 of the phenos are squatty (word?) and bushy while the 3rd has much more stretchy characteristics (Alex). The female with the stretchy characteristics is a nice combo of stinky and frosty with the added bonus of nug density. Addison, (see picture reference) has noticeably denser albeit less buds. She is however extremely stinky, smells like strawberry and cheese which is weird because this strain is supposed to have a high Myrcene content. So I don't know where the cheese / chemical smell is coming from. Alpha (named for her extremely fast growing ability, faster and larger than her sisters) is more frosty than anyone else but again lacks large bud developement in relation to Alex. I cloned all 3 early on, and had a 95% success rate, so I am curious to see how these girls turn out for round 2 as clones. I incorrectly cloned the most from Alpha because the week before flower, she was the most promising, but luckily got the other 2 as well. I am going to breed Alex with another strain called 9LB hammer soon and see if I can get her to get even bigger buds.

Any experienced growers experience such a variation in plant structure from seeds? I am growing some FIRE OG's from HSC and there is a uniformity in each plant that is unmistakable. I am concerned that the genetics on this plant weren't stabilized OR its environmental factors?

Hi @Juicy_Frost! Well the thing is that it takes several years to stabilize a strain, and in a world of frenzied consumption and continuous profit race, most of the breeders on the market do not seriously stabilize their genetics. I think you're experiencing phenotypes variations and they're not much you. Hope this will help, keep us updated and happy growing! 👊

Chugging along, getting close to flush time, I think I am going to overrun these babies, I don't care if I lose THC content, going for maximum flavor and aesthetic!
