Ramires Tag 8: The second week has begun and she has held up well. Although the seedling leaf pair is slightly deformed, I experienced that with the Afghani too, and she turned out great. I inoculated the soil with SF nematodes to give fungus gnats and thrips no chance. As soon as she’s a bit bigger, I’ll add a layer of mulch to the soil so it doesn’t dry out too quickly in the tunnel. Tag 12: Today got a bit hectic, as I discovered spider mites on my outdoor plants. All the plants immediately got a neem oil shower. Additionally, I ordered predatory mites to hang in the plants.

Ramires Tag 15: she doesn't want to grow properly yet. Let's hope she gets back on track.

Ramires Tag 21: She has managed to turn things around and is starting to grow nicely. We're still leaving her to do her thing without any training. We're just checking for pests, and as a precaution, she got a neem oil shower.

Ramires Day 28: She has indeed gotten a decent growth spurt, but I guess she's not the first choice for outdoor growing because she's still quite delicate. And from the looks of it, she'll be going into flowering soon. I haven't trained her any further. During the leaf inspection, we couldn't find any pests. Maybe she'll pick up the pace a bit. The temperatures are supposed to be pretty good. Day 29: Now we can already see that she has initiated flowering.

Ramires Tag 35: she has made a bit of a stretch upwards, but she is still quite delicate. From now on, I will also be adding PK fertilizer. I won't be training her, she should develop on her own.

Ramires Tag 42: Since it has only grown 2 cm in height, we assume that the stretch phase is pretty much over. Actually, we are quite disappointed with this strain. Even though the seeds were about 1.5 years old, only this one germinated out of the 9 seeds, 3 with the paper method and 6 seeds with hydrogen peroxide, all in the propagator on a heating mat. Out of the 6, only this one germinated. If it doesn't change its mind, then it will be a very slim harvest. But it seems to be a general problem with the "Tribe seeds," as many reviews complain about the low germination rate. But whatever 😐. By the way, our seeds are stored in a can in the basement. I won't be training them to avoid causing unnecessary stress.

Ramires Tag 49: The stretch is over, as she hasn't grown another cm in height. To address the lower leaves with their bleaching, we checked briefly and found spider mites again, so we immediately ordered predatory mites. I don't want to work too much with neem oil since she's right in the middle of flowering; maybe just apply a bit of the oil with a brush to the underside of the leaves. Tag 52: We brought her back inside, just like the King Louis, as the air is simply too humid with a relative humidity of over 90% and rain every day. The predatory mites have also arrived and were immediately hung on the plant. We also assume that there will only be a mini yield since she's had too much stress from the days of outdoor temperatures over 40°C and the pest infestation. But we also think that the genetics are not fully mature yet when considering growth, germination rate, and reviews of the strain. But as they say: "No one promised us a rose garden" 😏

Ramires Tag 56: what can I say, see for yourself

Ramires Tag 62: Today was harvest day. With the pretty one, the effort was quite manageable 😄. The trichomes were about 80% cloudy with a few amber ones. The yield will be modest, but "That's Life." She's now hanging in the basement at just under 21°C on the drying rack, and the dehumidifier is set to 55%. After drying, she'll cure for 14 days, and then there will be the first smoke test.
