xTaps A fresh chapter begins! I am officially launching my brand new grow diary for this RDWC run. You know the drill with Recirculating Deep Water Culture: a continuous, highly oxygenated nutrient loop for maximum stability and rapid growth. The system is currently being prepped and sterilized. 🌿 The Genetic Lineup: We are lining up 4 premium cuttings for this grid, and 3 out of 4 have already cleared the launchpad: 2x Cherry Pie (Zamnesia Seeds) πŸ’ - Strong root development, fully ready to hit the clay pebbles. 1x Tropical Ozz (Criminal Seeds) 🌴 - Roots have successfully popped, looking solid. 1x Lemon Cherry Ice Cream (Criminal Seeds) 🍦 - Still holding out on this one. The clone is taking its sweet time to throw those first root tips, but we are giving her a minute to complete the 4-plant layout. As soon as the final roots show up, the plugs go into the system and we flip the switch on the pumps. Drop a bookmark, the diary is officially live! πŸš€

xTaps πŸš€ The Move-In: 3 Cuttings Locked into the Grid The new diary is officially live as the first three clones hit the net pots! The clay pebbles were thoroughly washed to get rid of any dust but were left unsoaked since the water level will remain low enough to keep the upper zone dry later on. Current status from the photos: Cherry Pie #1 & #2 (Zamnesia Seeds): Incredible root development! Vibrant white roots are already wrapping heavily around the Eazy Plugs. They are ready to explode. Tropical Ozz (Criminal Seeds): Just popping its first delicate, healthy root tips through the bottom of the plug. Lemon Cherry Ice Cream (Criminal Seeds): Still chilling in the propagator. She will join the system as soon as her roots show up. πŸ’§ Nutrient & Watering Strategy We are starting things off nice and easy. To prevent frying the young roots, I decided to underfeed slightly, using 2.0 ml/L of Plant Mechanics instead of 2.5 ml/L. For the transition phase, I will trigger the top drip manually 1-2 times a day for about 15 minutes, specifically during nutrient solution changes/distribution. This keeps the Eazy Plug perfectly hydrated and flushes fresh nutrients through, while keeping the surrounding clay pebbles dry. As soon as the roots drop out of the net pots and hit the main reservoir, the top drip will be completely deactivated. Let the hydro journey begin! 🌊πŸ”₯
