Germination

LazyGrower It's starting, some seeds germinated directly and survived, while others I had to replace from time to time because they germinated due to suboptimal conditions related to temperature and the age of the seeds, which are about 2 years old, while those that survived are about 1 year old.

LazyGrower In the growth phase, I train the plants based on feel in the direction they need to go. This is my first grow with the tray to grow and the matching pot (107.5 L), so I don't know exactly where the plants need to sit to have optimal space for all. Over the past few weeks, I've also added 25 compost worms (dendrobena) to the pot. I leave cut leaves and clover as mulch and food for the worms. The specified environmental values are approximate averages shown with components from Spiderfarmer. Power strip with soil sensor and hygrometer. For the lamp, I use the sunrise and sunset function set to one hour for ramping up and down the brightness. The max brightness and distance are adjusted based on feel. The living soil bed is supposed to be self-regulating, which is why I only water with tap water. The automatic watering will be used when the plants are big enough and have rooted properly.

LazyGrower All the plants that are still here are showing the first signs of the flowering phase. The Gelato 41 is 2 days ahead of the others. Unfortunately, the Special Skunk has died. The Doctor's Choice No. 1 is still alive, but very small. Just before I defoliated the plants, the first aphids appeared and the effects are visible. For the past 5 days, the bed has been supplied by the automatic watering - it works wonderfully. (autopot tray2grow)

LazyGrower So far, everything is going wonderfully. The plants are no longer being defoliated until just before the end of the flowering stage. I've mixed in a bit of GreenHise Feeding Bloom Long-Term fertilizer into the soil for a little nutrient boost. The clover is regularly trimmed back. No extra nutrients are added to the water.

LazyGrower The flowering is in full swing, it's only watered in the tray2grow and now and then a light nutrient mix, max 10L, watered from above once a week.

LazyGrower super og kush, Cherry Cola, and Wedding cake have been defoliated. The life of the plants is slowly coming to an end: The first trichomes are turning brown/orange, and the flowering is showing the first signs of pistils. Otherwise, the flowering is in full swing; they are only watered in the tray2grow and occasionally given a light nutrient mix, max 10L once a week from the top.

LazyGrower Everything is going well according to plan, and the conditions are just like last week. I added a touch of the greenhouse Feeding fertilizer and 3.5g of CalMag. The plant with the most advanced trichome coloration is: 1: Cherry Cola 2: Gelato41 3: Super OG Kush 4: Wedding Cake

Happy Harvest Day!

fast buds have always had a weak genetics for me that is not very resistant to external influences. Things like defoliation, LST, or topping always catapult the plants directly into flowering. However, I am satisfied with the result; I think I have gotten the best out of the plant that I could.

Hey dude, I didn’t quite understand what ended up happening with Doctor’s Choice #1. It was really small, and I got a bit lost in the story — did you stop growing it, or did it die? Could you briefly describe what happened and your experience with it?
LazyGrower
LazyGrower commented6d ago
@Doctors_Choice hahahaha i knoe what you mean. Yes the DC1 really Got lost in the Story because it is Like 7cm tall. I do Not think IT IS because of the genetic, ich think IT ist because of all the other big plants that consume the Main nutrients. In this self adjusting every plant Take what IT needs. The DC1 also Gott germinatet Like 2 weeks later then the big plants so IT hat to Deal with Lots of Shadows and Lots of clover in the beginning. In my next run the dc1 will also apear, so Stay stoked.
