PapaTerps Girl Scout Cookies - Kannabia
SUMMER is upon us and grows that were started around March have been harvested, that means I have an empty tent or two! I've decided to start another couple of micro grows to accompany my main Summer Grow, which I started a couple of weeks ago 👍🏻
For this micro grow, I've selected Girl Scout Cookies by Kannabia Seeds - I've chosen this strain for both nostalgia and for her advertised 25% (we shall see). This is my first time growing seed from Kannabia, so it'll be a good test for the quality of the flower without having to expense my time and effort into something that may or may not turn out how I had hoped.
I will be vegging her for about 4 weeks and I will be using a mixture of growing techniques which I have used before, including topping with some low stress training. This will be a micro grow, so her pot size will be at most 1L in size. You're all more than welcome to follow along, I will try to detail my process without overloading each week with "Too Much Info"😅
Day 1 (06/07)
- Seed dropped into a small metal screw tin filled with RO Tap water pH'd to 6.3 and stored in a dark warm room - she will remain here until the seed pops and a taproot appears; I will check the progress of the seed every ~12 hours.
Day 2
- The seed has already popped and a taproot has appeared, so I've filled a small 0.3L paper starter pot with some All-Mix and dropped the seed in!
Day 3
- The seedling has already appeared from the soil, but her starter leaves have yet to breach, so tomorrow morning she should be out for us 💪
Day 5
- She has a nice stem and her first leaves have started to develop 🙌🏻
Day 7
- She is growing fast, so I've moved her from the starter pot into her main grow pot; a 1L plastic Air Pot, which I have used in the past with good results. I think in a few days she will be in full veg 👍🏻

🚿 Watered every three days with 250ml of RO water, with nutrients mixed individually and in order, finally I ph'd the solution to 6.3👌🏻
✂️ I've transplanted her from her starter pot, into a 1L plastic AirPot. I've used a few different types of 1L pots before and this has returned the best yields for Micros👌🏻 I plan on topping her once to have only four stems on her, so I've removed a couple of her fan leaves to help the lower nodes develop 💪🏻
🌱 Week 1 of Veg, and shes growing really well - she's working on growing her leaves and strengthening her stem 💪🏻

Day 12
🚿 Watered every three days with 0.5L of RO water, with nutrients mixed individually and in order, finally I ph'd the solution to 6.3.
✂️ This week has been busy, she grew really well last week, so today I've topped her to create six main stems! I've also transplanted her from her 1L AirPot into a 5L fabric pot - I've done this because I upgraded my setup recently and had more space, I also wanted to setup a drip watering system and the 1L AirPot was just too small for that.
🌱 Week 2 of Veg, she recovering from her topping as well as developing her root structure and switching her focus onto growing her four new main stems 💪🏻

✂️ She has been growing really well and hasn't required any defoliation or training, so I've left her to grow this week.
🌱 Week 3 of Veg, she filling out nicely and looks to have begun to show signs of maturity, so she should be ready for the 12/12 switch in about two weeks 🙌🏻

🚿 Watered every three days with 1L of RO water, with nutrients mixed individually and in order, finally I ph'd the solution to 6.3. I've switch out her veg nutrients for her bloom nutrients in preparation for her switch to flower later this week.
✂️ No work this week, she's just growing 🙌🏻 I've moved her out of the 5x5 into the 2x4 to give them more time to veg and more space to grow.
🌱 Week 4 of Veg, last week of veg before flower and she's doing great, she is showing signs of maturity so she should be all set for the 12/12 switch 💪🏻
