scupbucket Back and forth between outdoors and indoor mini grow light. Spritzed with a little water throughout the day... Doing a LOT of reading and already found a lot of steps where I've made mistakes just in the first week. Awesome...

scupbucket No nutes yet... just light and occasional watering. Keep running them back and forth from indoors to outside like some kind of idiot... Grow light doesn't seem to be strong enough. These things are gonna die and I'm not gonna have weed.

scupbucket Transplanted them to 3-gallon pots... Totally fucked up the transplant trying to wrestle them out of these dumb pop bottle starters, so they got a bit manhandled.

scupbucket Took a bit to recover after transplant but doing ok. getting about 8 full hours of sun. Living in the woods so a lot of chasing the sun all day. Heat wave hit this week... picked a shitty time to do an outdoor grow but let's see what happens.

scupbucket Buds are showing up... still really hot and humid out. Few times they looked stressed out with taco leaves, so I moved them into the shade during peak heat hours... Overall though not bad.

scupbucket One plant stretched to almost 2.5 feet! One got pretty stunted... and one kinda in the middle. I'm guessing the transplant had a lot to do with that. Growth took off this week... something was munching on the leaves. Turned out to be soybean thrips, those little bastards... but thankfully only a few. Gave em a neem oil spray and haven't had a problem since. Buds looking ok... kinda small. (Ignore that blue potted one... little test gone bad).

scupbucket Still hot but the humidity finally went away... Rained like hell the other day and I didn't have a chance to cover the plants... soaked the pots so it took a few days to dry everything out. Trucking along though. Growth seems to be slowing down, and buds are getting a bit bigger but still seem really small... figure I have about 5 more weeks though and these girls have been through a lot so probably a lot is stress related. Starting to see where LST might have been beneficial, not to mention starting off in a better seedling cup. The one that isn't the biggest but also not stunted has the bigger buds so far. They smell delicious and I'm starting to see some frosty goodness.

scupbucket Wonky looking plants but buds are getting chunky and frosty... Smells wonderful, like minty pine! Weather has sucked ass though with only about 1.5 days of sun. Smokey, hazy, cloudy, windy, etc. I'm chasing sunlight all over the place. pleh...

scupbucket Better weather and these girls were loving it... their buds really beefed up this week. Lots of trichomes giving them a nice frosty look. It got cold a few nights so I took the girls inside and stunk up the whole house. Smells like a skunk pissed in a cup of coffee... DELICIOUS!

scupbucket Not a ton of difference other than the girls are looking like they're ready to start wrapping things up. Buds are chubby... Pistils are turning amber and a majority of trichomes on the buds are cloudy. Just water at this point, no nutes. They smell delicious and stinky. They're very top heavy as I essentially ended up with weed poles so they're a swayin' in the wind.
Unfortunately, I'm starting to see a lot of shit attacking the plants... more thrips (babies) arrived but I don't want to spray with neem this close to harvest. I'm also starting to see some powdery mildew showing up on fan leaves so I've been bringing them indoors at night where it's dry. It's supposed to rain all next week too. I reeeeealy want to squeeze out one more week and then I need to chop, otherwise I'm afraid the elements are gonna take over and I'll be left smoking thrip shit and mold spunk...
Being my first grow, I don't have anything else to compare to this strain. Overall, considering the hurdles of growing outside in the woods, seems like this was a relatively easy strain to grow. They're beautiful plants... my wife and I loved how they looked and smelled in the house at night when I'd bring em in. I'm happy with the yield and they produced lovely big ol buds. I haven't even smoked them yet but really don't need to for this review since I have no clue what the hell I'm doing anyway. They were just fun to watch grow into weed. Doesn't take much to keep me happy.
Update: Took a little for a test drive after jarring - that's a nice buzz. I'm digging this strain... I'd grow it again!

scupbucket Whelp... came close but couldn't get them to week 12. Four days short and I probably could've gone a week after that. Fucking WPM was rearing its ugly head, and I made the decision to chop since the humidity here has been nonstop and I didn't want to invest in a bunch of shit to spray on my plants this close to harvest. Lot of cloudy trichomes already so I made peace with it, thanked the girls (Thundra, Ripley, and Shawty) for giving me some flowers to help me relax at night, and chopped.
Although not a ton of yield, Ripley flexed a massive bud... I know there's a lot of plants that exist that are competition record-holding grade, but this is the largest fucking bud I've ever held in my hand, and it smells like straight diesel death. Sweet Jesus, I've read about this before, but after a pre-wash wet trim, I finally experienced firsthand the vulgar amount of sticky plant glue and pungent reek of a grapefruity skunk sack fouling up my Fiskars and stinging my nostrils for the rest of the day. Did a Cervantes wash (that dude's a trip) and have 'em hanging up to dry.
This was my first grow... I learned a lot and fucked up a ton. But these girls still gave it their all to gift me a lovely amount of flower. After the remaining plants I have are all harvested, I will NOT be growing outdoors anymore. Everything and anything were attacking these girls... from bugs, to mildew, to absolute shit weather. I'm looking forward to having way more light and controlling my temp/humidity in a grow tent. I did like spending more time than usual sitting outside and admiring these pretty plants so maybe next year I'll do a little one-off on the deck. Love this site BTW... 👍
