PsicoOne I was initially surprised by the size of the seeds, I've never had such big little beans before. I put the seed in a wet paper towel and into a plastic bag, after about 18 hours I checked to see if the nut had opened, but the seed is really going into turbo mode and even a thick root is visible.
So I put the seed on day 2 into a coconut pellet and placed it in my little greenhouse (tea tin). The next day, the little head was already up but still had the shell around it. But after another day, that's taken care of too. I’ll still leave them for a day in the mini greenhouse and transplant them on day 2 of the growth phase into their new home, a 20L fabric pot.

PsicoOne The first week goes smoothly. The air is a bit too dry, so I always keep a small dome over the plant. The soil mix I used on day 2 consists of: 9L Light Mix, 9L coconut substrate, 2L worm humus, 80g Startrex, 60g Silicium Flash, 3g Mycotrex, and additionally 250ml perlite.
Day 1 - I let the seed rest a bit until tomorrow.
Day 2 - Today I placed the young lady in her new home, a 20L fabric pot that gets about a 3cm thick drainage layer of clay balls, and on top of that, the described soil mix. I leave a deep hole for the area where the plant goes, which I only fill with coconut substrate and sprinkle in a bit of mycorrhiza so that the roots don’t hit the soil mix directly. The first bio tabs also go in. Then I water with a solution of 1L water with 10ml Orgatrex and 1g Bactrex (pH 6.35). I water close to the plant so that the roots follow the water down.
Day 7 - Today I give 1L of water (pH 6.31), which I now only pour at the edge of the pot.
Note: I just want to mention that it’s about time that growdiaries.com introduces the option to include grams in the information for fertilizer amounts. There are now plenty of products in powder form, and measurements in tablespoons are not precise enough for me. And converting milliliters to grams or tablespoons is also absolutely ridiculous.
So anyone reading my diary should rely more on the quantities mentioned in my text because I don’t want to do any conversions; keeping a diary like this is already enough work.

PsicoOne Week 2 is going well too. Her first 2 leaves have some burnt tips, but she quickly bounced back from that. I still have a small dome over the plant until the end of the week to keep the humidity a bit higher than what the weather is currently providing. Throughout the week, I’m adding some nematodes to the soil against fungus gnats and thrips; she doesn’t have any issues, but I prefer to be proactive.
Day 9 - Today, I’m giving a mix of 250ml of water with nematodes and another 250ml of water to wash the nematodes a bit deeper into the soil. To survive, the soil needs to be kept nice and moist.
Day 12 - I’m topping off the pot with my soil mix from last week (that’s why the plant seems to have only grown 1cm this week), and I’m watering with 1L of water (pH 6.42) near the edge of the pot.
Day 14 - Today, the lady just got a shower from the spray bottle with a solution of 1L of water and 10ml of Alfa Boost.

PsicoOne Everything is going well this week, and the G-Nana is developing very nicely. The only thing that worries me is the new heatwave, although the G-Nana should handle it well at this stage.
I'm only upset about my new GGS from Spider Farmer. It actually works great, but unfortunately, mine has no Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connection. Both the not-so-helpful manual (a piece of paper with a faulty German translation) and the support were no help; I'm really disappointed with Spider Farmer. It's also not mentioned in the advertisement that it only works with 2.4 GHz, and even though my devices support that, I can't find any devices from that brand. For me, that's actually a reason for a complaint, but somehow they don't want to refund my money. I only get great tips like checking if my Bluetooth connection is activated. I wanted to reply: I've placed the receiver next to the GGS and dialed three zeros on my rotary dial to reset it to factory settings. Then I should make a video with my phone showing how I'm trying to connect with my phone; unfortunately, my mobile phone doesn't have a removable camera, and I also don't have, like everyone else apparently, any other cameras for streaming and such. Then I should take a screenshot of my Bluetooth connection and also in the Spider Farmer app. No problem, but what does the technician see there? Oh yes, our devices don't show up. How does that help me? And you can't take a screenshot of their app because key combinations are locked there. Another great tip is that you should perform the firmware update on the GGS so that Wi-Fi and Bluetooth work. But to do that, you have to download the update with the phone and then upload it to the GGS. But if I can't pair the phone, I can't download an update either. Great! (Sorry, I had to vent because this has ruined my whole week.)
Day 16 - Today I added the second bio tab to the soil, and I'm also removing the first two shoots since they have remained very small. Afterwards, I spray them with a solution of 1L of water with 10ml of Alfa Boost.
Day 17 - I'm giving 2L of water (pH 6.41).
Day 19 - I'm removing the top two sun leaves so that more light reaches the lower shoots.
Day 20 - One of the shoots is not developing properly; it only produces half a leaf. I've decided to remove the shoot and apply some LST in its place so that the other shoots are nicely in the light now.
Day 21 - Today, she gets another 2L of water with 0.2ml of Calmag per liter (pH 6.37).

PsicoOne She's developing a nice thick stem over the week and grows about 14cm. She has very generous node spacing. I don't think defoliation is really necessary for her. Throughout the week, I only remove one of the upper fan leaves to direct more light to the lower shoots. I also remove shoots that grow downwards to focus all the energy on the upper ones.
Day 22 - LST
Day 23 - I remove an upper fan leaf
Day 24 - LST
Day 26 - 2L water (pH 6.42) and again, the LST is adjusted.

PsicoOne This week, she started flowering on day 31 and has the urge to stretch out a lot. The spacing of the shoots is also very generous, it kind of looks like spaghetti, with long stems holding a flower.
Day 29 - 2L water with 2ml/L Alfa Boost (pH 6.50)
Day 31 - 500ml water with nematodes and 1g/L Bactrex (pH 6.46)
Day 33 - 1L water with 2ml/L Bio Tabs PK 5-8 (pH 6.50), also I removed two fan leaves and a few very low shoots. Since her main shoot is stretching so much, I broke it by gently squeezing it between my fingers until it lightly cracks. I hope this way the lower shoots can catch up a bit and the stretching of the top slows down a little.
Day 34 - 2L water (pH 6.48) and I removed another fan leaf.

PK Booster Compost Tea
40 mll
PsicoOne Everything is going well so far, except for the summer temperatures, but the lady has gained quite a bit of height this week. She's also starting to smell just a little, but not really definable, just a bit sweet.
Day 36 - She's getting 2L of water (pH 6.50).
Day 38 - There's 2L of water (pH 6.48) and I'm removing a few of the sun leaves.
Day 40 - Today she's getting 500ml of compost tea and 1.5L of water (pH 6.48) to flush the tea a bit deeper into the soil.
Day 42 - Today there's 2L of water (pH 6.48) and I'm removing another 3 of her sun leaves.
