DE_BW The plant got off to a slow start due to its deformed serrated leaves, but overall it looks healthy.

DE_BW Week 2 The plant has recovered well from its slow start and is now showing healthy, vigorous growth. Although it still lags behind the expected size for its age, it appears stable and is developing normally. It will most likely remain a few days behind throughout the rest of the grow. This week, I gave the plant its first light feeding with a very mild nutrient solution. Overall, she looks healthy and is finally beginning to build momentum.

DE_BW Week 3 marks a very positive turning point for the Mendo Frost. Despite the slow and slightly deformed start, the plant has fully recovered and is now showing strong, vigorous growth with a healthy structure. The topping was successful, and the side branches are developing evenly, creating an excellent foundation for LST over the coming days. The previous pest issue appears to be under control after releasing predatory mites. Only minor cosmetic feeding damage remains on a few older leaves, while all new growth is clean and healthy. Overall, the plant looks vigorous and shows no signs of stress. The first pre-flower signs are already visible, suggesting that the vegetative phase is nearing its end. I expect no more than one additional week of vegetative growth before the stretch begins. The canopy is shaping up nicely, and the plant is on track to become a compact, well-branched auto with plenty of future flowering sites.

DE_BW The Mendo Frost has officially entered the flowering stage. She didn’t develop quite as much branching as I had hoped for, despite being trained very openly with plenty of space and light for the lower shoots. Nevertheless, she is an extremely healthy and vigorous plant with strong overall growth. At the beginning of the stretch, she is currently around 40 cm tall, and the first flower sites are developing nicely. This week I also heavily defoliated the inner canopy to improve light penetration and airflow and to give the remaining lower shoots a better chance to develop during the stretch. Overall, she has transitioned into flowering in excellent condition. Now it will be interesting to see how much height and structure she gains over the next couple of weeks.

DE_BW Mendo Frost – Flower Week 2 The Mendo Frost went through an extreme stretch this week and gained a lot of height. At the same time, she developed plenty of flower sites across the entire plant, with pistils appearing at almost every node. She still looks very healthy and vigorous and seems to handle the flowering nutrients perfectly. Despite her rather open and stretchy structure, the amount of developing bud sites is starting to look quite promising. Another positive development is the pest situation. The predatory mites have clearly done their job, and the thrips population now seems to be almost completely gone. Overall, a very strong second week of flower. The stretch has been massive, but flower development is progressing just as quickly.

DE_BW The Mendo Frost continues to develop beautifully. After her strong stretch, the focus is now clearly shifting towards flower production. The buds are starting to stack nicely along the branches, and there are plenty of promising bud sites all over the plant. She still looks very healthy and vigorous, and I’m especially happy with how quickly the flowers are developing. Another interesting difference compared to my first Mendo Frost phenotype is the aroma: this one is already giving off a noticeably sweeter scent. So far, I’m very pleased with how she’s progressing and I’m curious to see how much those buds will fill out over the next few weeks.
