6th July - Day 36 Watered using a beneficial bacteria and fungi mix. This was to flush the nutrient build up in the soil/coco mix. Next time I’m definitely using the 90% soil with a 10% addition of coco.
Not knocking coco at all it’s a real wonder to grow in. If you have the right access to water. I can’t water as frequently as required and I haven’t got the patience for hydro.
If I ever move to a suitable location I will build my dream set up and things will be brighter I’m sure.
But for now we’re doing just fine. A little bit of nutrient burn is nothing in the light of things.
Green Buzz Liquids are stronger than expected, at some point it looked like I was having a little N toxicity. I backed off with grow liquid completely and tried to adjust things in the soil by feeding just the boosters. I used full dose of PK although we’re past the stretch we’re still using autoflowers that are only small and with thehigh temps too due to summer... it was a Nutrient Festival in my tent!!
After flushing the medium
I was seeing readings close to 2.0EC in organic that is just too high. Probably down to salt build up from not watering the coco well enough. PH coming out the bottom of pots was 6.1/6.2 I’m guessing that it’s still too low even though we’re probably looking at 50/50 coco/soil. PH6.4/6.5 should be perfect as it’s an organic bio life I’ve been trying to create since starting. Lots of plans for the future. Thanks to anyone that stops in, feel free to link me to your grow if you want to share!✌️🏻
@Mrs_Larimar, Thanks, it really is insane how quick they’re growing!!
I think the way I prepared the soil mix by watering in some living organics helped a lot!
I then just watered with a little measuring cup 60ml everyday till for 7 days. I’ve been watering so lightly this time as the medium was pre soaked I really want the bottom to dry out before I water with a larger amount.
I’m not sure I need to water with sun off using organics.
Saving water as well with this stuff, it’s great!
Green Buzz Liquids really are amazing
@CRiSPrGrow, you’re welcome at my place anytime brother :) you know where I live lol
With the photos, I just experiment always using a UV filter lens attached.
I use a mix of light temperature settings I use daylight & tungsten (think that’s what it’s called) the latter removes the yellow during lights on. 10 second shutter speed and all lights off just using the flash... I’m not a good photographer have no clue what I’m doing ;) it’s a cheaper DSLR camera tbh!
Anyhow I hope you have a better camera now, or at least plan on getting one soon :?)
Happy Harvestttime!!!! and i totally agree with you with the Nutrients, they are just great. and yes for automatic grow( vegetation) you just need Humic Acid Plus, And more Roots..... Btw there is anew Product to come " Growzyme" made out of sea algae "ascophyllum nodosum"
