One of the gorillas didn’t manage to germinate, probably down to my eagerness to get them in to the pots before it was big enough. I had to wait a week till I came back from being away to germinate and pot the bluematic so am gonna be a week behind on that one.
Due to the predictably unpredictable British weather I had to get one of the heaters set up to push the temps up. Was dropping to nearly 10c at night. Seems to be working nicely and only pulls 80w so pretty eco too. On previous grows I had no problems with temps as I was running a dimlux 315cmh but due to that breaking half way through my last 2 grows I decided to switch to the migro 200 leds.
Decided to add some veg nutes which I have never done on previous grows. Also got some crazy stretch on the gorillas at the back which I haven’t ever had before. Not sure if this is just the genetics of this strain or if environmental factors have come into play. The creamatic is looking pretty nice and the bluematic is looking good. It’s hard to believe that the bluematic is only 2 weeks behind the others! Can’t wait for the next few weeks to see the changes and get the bloom going!
Don’t really know why but I started adding some veg nutes last week and they really didn’t need it. Well maybe the gorillas were lacking some nitrogen but the creamatic was probably fine and I started to notice the beginning of over nuteing. Some burnt tips and dark leaves so I just have some phd water for a couple of feeds. Now starting to introduce some bloom at a very low dosage and to be careful to watch for over feeding. Which is a mistake I have made in the past. The bluematic is getting way better attention on the lst side as I have kind fucked up the others she is getting trained to go flatter than the others so will see the results of her when she has the final stretch and flower.
Slight bit of light defoliation this week. Got really good stretch and the bluematic seems to be catching up nicely. So far I haven’t managed to snap anything which happened on my last 2 grows. Can’t wait for the next few weeks to really see the girls really start beefing up!
Seemed to have a small amount of springtails. Read that they aren’t a problem but they seemed to be multiplying pretty rapidly. Is it worth getting some nematodes as I am in week 7 now?
What up PUNX ! nematodes are always worth it, you dont even need to do that foliar spray with them for them to work, which will take 14 days more or less . those rust spots though look more like text book calcium deficiency , add that in the nematode foliar spray if you do that, otherwise into the feed and the problem should stop spreading in a week and the plant will have recovered in a 14 or less even. This week as been pretty crazy buds are starting to fatten up big time and are also getting sugary AF! On the downside I think I have got a slight cal/mag deficiency which needs sorting ASAP. It is kinda weird because the 2 gorillas have been feed/watered exactly the same and are growing in the same medium so can’t really understand how one has and the other doesn’t but guess that’s the wonders of genetics!
So these girls are gonna be ready for there flush out next week. Buds are pretty dense. Thought I may have got some Fox tailing due to the heat that we have had but has been good. Buds are really sugary. Looking forward to chopping these and getting them dry!
Ok so camera on my phone broke right in the final stages which is pretty typical! Gonna leave the bluematic in for another 2 weeks to beef out are gonna chop the rest down soon! Looks like the high temps we had have made the bluematic foxtail a bit but the others had really good resistance to that. I just hope that in the next 2 weeks the bluematic will beef out rather than stay really thin. Really happy with nug size/density of the gorilla and creamatic! Will hopefully get some pics up soon of the others and let ya know what’s on the scales!
