She is already throwing pistils while the others are still filling out the paperwork. 🌸📝 ⠀ ⠀ That is great news on a terrace in Zaragoza, because October sometimes arrives uninvited with cold, rain and a very bad attitude. 🌧️ ⠀ ⠀ The official harvest window is September 25–October 10, so maybe she isn’t a miracle… ⠀ ⠀ Maybe she is simply the only plant that bothered to read the seed packet. 😂📅 ⠀ ⠀ Her perfume is still inside the bottle, but I’m waiting for the promised diesel, skunk, pine and woody funk — perhaps with a little citrus sneaking through the back door. ⛽?🌲🍊 ⠀ ⠀ If she eventually smells like a petrol station hidden inside a pine forest, the mission will be complete. 😂 ⠀ ⠀ Purple later? Maybe. Attendance: 🍊 California Indica — Sensi Seeds 🍨 Gelato — Barney’s Farm ⛽ All Gas OG — Humboldt Seed Company 🖤 Black Domina — Sensi Seeds Four ladies. Four completely different personalities. And approximately enough bamboo to open an IKEA branch for cannabis plants. 😂🎋 California Indica is living inside her bamboo fortress like an old-school queen preparing for the next Cierzo attack. 🍊👑🌬️ She has that classic outdoor look I love. I used to grow and smoke old-school outdoor weed, so seeing this lady stretching under the Spanish sun brings back some very good memories. 😏🌿 Gelato has chosen the opposite strategy. Less “look at me”… More “I’m going to quietly occupy every square centimetre of this terrace.” 😂🍨 She is getting bushier and stacking little flower sites everywhere. Then we have All Gas OG. ⛽ The impatient one. She started flowering early and still looks like she has somewhere important to be before October. 😂🏃‍♀️🌸 If she eventually delivers that proper gassy, funky, piney smell, I may have to put a NO SMOKING sign next to the plant just for the joke. ⛽🌲😂 And finally… Black Domina. 🖤 The name already sounds like somebody you don’t argue with. She is quietly building flowers while pretending she has absolutely nothing to do with what is happening on this terrace. 😇😂 Meanwhile, Zaragoza is doing Zaragoza things: ☀️ sun 🌡️ heat 🌬️ Cierzo waiting somewhere around the corner 🎋 and me building bamboo architecture like a slightly confused panda. The funny part is that they all started from the same terrace… …but now each one is clearly writing her own story. And this is exactly why I love outdoor growing. You can make plans. The plants read them. Then they do whatever the hell they want. 😂🌿 Sunday inspection complete. ✅ All four ladies are green, flowering and still standing. Yo fumaba y plantaba mucha hierba old school de exterior, así que verla estirarse bajo el sol me trae unos recuerdos bastante buenos. 😏🌿 Gelato, en cambio, ha elegido otra estrategia. Menos “mírame”… y más “voy a ocupar tranquilamente cada centímetro cuadrado libre de esta terraza”. 😂🍨 Cada vez está más frondosa y va llenándose de pequeños puntos de floración por todas partes. Después tenemos a All Gas OG. ⛽ La impaciente de la familia. Empezó a florecer pronto y sigue teniendo pinta de que ha quedado con alguien antes de octubre. 😂🏃‍♀️🌸 Si termina soltando ese aroma bien gas, funky y a pino que espero, voy a tener que ponerle al lado un cartel de PROHIBIDO FUMAR solamente por hacer la gracia. ⛽🌲😂 Y por último… Black Domina. 🖤 Solo el nombre ya suena a alguien con quien es mejor no discutir. Va construyendo sus flores tranquilamente mientras pone cara de que ella no tiene absolutamente nada que ver con lo que está ocurriendo en esta terraza. 😇😂 Mientras tanto, Zaragoza sigue haciendo cosas de Zaragoza: ☀️ sol 🌡️ calor 🌬️ el cierzo probablemente tramando algo a la vuelta de la esquina 🎋 y yo construyendo estructuras de bambú como un panda ligeramente confundido. Lo divertido es que todas empezaron compartiendo la misma terraza… pero ahora cada una está escribiendo claramente su propia historia. Y precisamente eso es una de las cosas que más me gustan del exterior. Tú haces planes. Las plantas los leen. Ricar 🇬🇧 ALL GAS, GELATO, BLACK & CALI | TERRACE RUSH HOUR 🚦🌿 ⠀ ⠀ Growmies, traffic in Zaragoza is getting worse. 😂 ⠀ ⠀ Not downtown. ⠀ ⠀ On my terrace. 🌿🚧 ⠀ ⠀ Four photoperiods, one narrow walkway and every flowering branch apparently convinced that it has priority on the road. ☀️ ⠀ ⠀ The convoy includes All Gas OG from Humboldt Seed Company, Gelato from Barney’s Farm, plus California Indica and Black Domina from Sensi Seeds. ⠀ ⠀ All Gas OG has “Gas” in her name, so naturally she thinks she owns the fast lane. ⛽😎 ⠀ ⠀ The bamboo poles have been promoted to traffic controllers, but the branches are treating their instructions as friendly suggestions. 🎋🚦 ⠀ ⠀ From a distance, everything looks reasonably organised. ⠀ ⠀ Then you try to walk through. ⠀ ⠀ Checking one cola now involves turning sideways, lifting a branch and apologising to three leaves that were not even involved. 😂🌸 ⠀ ⠀ The close-up shows that flowering is moving forward nicely. The wide shots show that I may soon need Google Maps to reach the other side of the canopy. 👀🗺️ ⠀ ⠀ At the current pit stop they’re getting Plagron Alga Bloom. Ricar All Gas OG Week 11 | Humboldt Outdoor Grow: Tall, Wild & Not Done Yet 🌿⛽ What’s up, growmies! 🌱 This week, the main story is not a deficiency, a rescue or some fake monster hype. It is the architecture of this All Gas OG from Humboldt Seed Company. She is still in active late veg, growing tall, open and slightly wild, with long lateral branches and an uneven canopy leaning toward the brightest side of the terrace. The light here is clearly directional, so part of this shape may be genetic and part may be pure outdoor adaptation. That is exactly what I want to discover. Visually, she is still growing, the new shoots remain active and I do not see any serious emergency: no widespread yellowing, heavy necrosis, major wilting or obvious infestation. A few mature leaves show some pale speckling, but the photos do not prove an active pest. For now, I am checking the undersides and watching the progression instead of spraying first and asking questions later. No blind moves in the Terrace Protocol. 🔍🍃 This is also my first season using BioBizz Light-Mix as the main substrate. The three plants are smaller than in previous years at the same point of the season, but the soil is holding moisture for longer. They are not reaching that full “collapse mode” where every leaf drops from lack of water, which happened during hotter summers. So there is a real trade-off: less explosive growth so far, but more stable moisture inside the pots. To improve the upper layer of the three containers, I distributed a 50-litre bag of Plagron Allmix across them. I then prepared a top-dressing with 1,200 ml of worm humus and 200 ml of guano, roughly a 6:1 mix, and applied it across the three plants. Now comes the important part: observation. I am not expecting overnight magic or a guaranteed explosion. I want to see whether the next growth stays healthy, whether the branches gain more strength and whether the plants enter preflowering with better momentum. 🌿? The large Y-shaped structure remains the most interesting feature of this All Gas OG. The “Seatbelt Method” has not been installed yet. For now, I am watching how much both main leaders flex and how the bamboo frame handles the movement. No emergency engineering yet—just keeping an eye on the weak point before flowers and wind turn it into a real problem. 🛠️🌬️ This gas lady is not the most compact plant on the terrace, but that is exactly why I want to follow her closely. La protagonista es la arquitectura de esta All Gas OG de Humboldt Seed Company. Continúa en vegetativo activo, con una estructura alta, abierta y algo salvaje, ramas laterales largas y una copa irregular que se orienta claramente hacia la zona más luminosa de la terraza. Aquí la luz llega de forma bastante direccional, así que parte de esta forma puede venir del fenotipo y otra parte puede ser pura adaptación al exterior. Y eso es precisamente lo que quiero descubrir. A simple vista sigue creciendo, los brotes nuevos continúan activos y no observo ninguna emergencia grave: no hay amarilleamiento generalizado, necrosis extensa, marchitez severa ni una infestación evidente. Algunas hojas maduras presentan pequeños puntos claros, pero las fotografías no demuestran que exista una plaga activa. Por ahora estoy revisando los envases de las hojas y observando si las marcas avanzan antes de pulverizar a ciegas. Dentro del Protocolo de la Terraza, primero observamos y después actuamos. 🔍🍃 Este también es mi primer año utilizando BioBizz Light-Mix como sustrato principal. Las tres plantas están más pequeñas que otros años en estas mismas fechas, pero la tierra conserva la humedad durante más tiempo. No están llegando a ese “modo desmayo” en el que todas las hojas se vienen abajo por falta de agua, algo que sí me ocurrió durante otros veranos más duros. Por tanto, este año existe un intercambio bastante claro: menos crecimiento explosivo hasta ahora, pero una humedad más estable dentro de las macetas. Para enriquecer la capa superior de los tres contenedores, repartí entre ellos un saco de 50 litros de Plagron Allmix. Después preparé un top-dressing con 1.200 ml de humus de lombriz y 200 ml de guano, en una proporción aproximada de 6:1, y lo distribuí entre las tres plantas. Ahora empieza la parte importante: observar la respuesta. No espero magia de un día para otro ni una explosión garantizada. Quiero comprobar si el crecimiento nuevo se mantiene sano, si las ramas ganan algo más de fuerza y si las plantas llegan a la prefloración con mejor impulso. 🌿? La gran estructura en forma de Y continúa siendo el rasgo más interesante de esta All Gas OG. El “Método del Cinturón de Seguridad” todavía no está instalado. Por ahora estoy vigilando cuánto flexan los dos brazos principales y cómo responde la estructura de bambú cuando la planta se mueve. Todavía no hay ingeniería de emergencia: solo estamos controlando el posible punto débil antes de que el viento y el peso de las flores lo conviertan en un problema real. 🛠️🌬️ Esta gas lady no es la planta más compacta de la terraza, pero precisamente por eso quiero seguirla de cerca. ¿Continuará estirándose como un árbol de exterior o empezará a compactar los nudos cuando entre en floración? ¿Habéis cultivado All Gas OG en exterior? ¿Vuestro fenotipo se mantuvo alto y abierto durante el vegetativo o comenzó a compactarse al entrar en floración?
