BuddySystem Plants of unknown strain were healthy. Concern about purple stems was unfounded. Tested for phosphorus and magnesium deficiency. Apparently it’s was just the genetics. Tried to find a strain with that specific characteristic but found nothing definitive. Best guess is it’s Grand Daddy Purple.

BuddySystem Buds put on a huge amount of weight. Two of the lower branches broke under the weight of the buds. Had to trellis all the branches. Pleasantly surprised at the performance of these plants.

The last week the weather turned cold at night. Temperatures at night were in the mid to low 40’s. During the day the temperatures were in the mid 50’s to mid 60’s. I was shocked to see all the plants turned purple again. Not a tinge of purple the whole plant. It was amazing actually.

BuddySystem The difference in one week was remarkable. The plants turned purple almost completely. The top buds were bright purple. The smell was almost overwhelming. The changes visually , the smell and the level of resin was dramatic. I decided some extraction was in the future.

BuddySystem After harvest, decided to fresh freeze about a pound of flower. Did a BHO extract on about an ounce at a time with a final shatter product weighing about 7 grams or 25% yield.
