Caertner Bending, defoliating... no more training is needed for good distribution and good yield. As much as necessary, as little as possible... Today it's time to switch to 12-12... time to bloom!

Caertner Today she's going over to the 12 tent to start flowering... Unfortunately, I didn't check or change the water for a while during DWC cultivation. The roots were a bit musty... I ripped off what I could and directly put them into the big XDWC. Let's see how well the system handles pathogens... Hopefully, I don't mess up the other ladies in the cycle. Let's see what can come from the two cuttings. In generation 4, I only cut 2 cuttings. Both will go into the 12 tent at different times. Let's see what the timing and better, longer preparation can achieve...

Caertner Switching to 12/12 and a strong nutrient mix with 1.8 EC has been well managed. Keep training and defoliating. The roots look pretty good, some have grown back again.

Caertner Put on another 10cm of stretch this week. The buds are already clearly visible now. Last round of defoliation... Plan: create air for light, create light for air... Sure, this will reduce the yield a bit so late, but I want the structure of the upper buds to be denser... I want rock-hard golf balls this time. Update: A bit bent today... I don't want them to get too tall...

Caertner Stretching is almost done, now the first swelling is coming. Sounds fancy in English with Stretch and Swell/Bulk... I bent a few more branches so it doesn't get too tall... her sister, who is 2 weeks behind, will surely catch up... but she still has a week until she breaks her legs. Omg, you could think it's a nasty pimp... Update: The main stem actually broke off while transplanting... grrr. Shit happens. I won't even remember it later anyway ;)

Caertner Oh super... now I'm testing a slightly lower EC (1.6-1.8 instead of 2.0) with less nitrogen content... and it's already visible that I had a partial nutrient blockage that slowed down the flower growth a bit. This time the BlueSkunk has a bit more robust flowers. Let's see how big they can still get.

Caertner The final phase begins... the final resin production. Now the trichomes are slowly turning milky... Update: The buds are noticeably bigger this time. I played around with the nutrients this time... results at harvest!
