ThePurpleAlchemist Two seeds are taking a soak in some water until a taproot pops and then they'll be going in a small pot.

ThePurpleAlchemist Weeeeellllllp things didn't exactly go to plan 😅 I had some trouble getting the seeds started in coco. Found out afterwards that it's better to start them in jiffy pellets or something like that. So the Blue Slushie did survive but has a wonky stem that I'm hoping she will grow out of eventually.
Cherry Grenada died the first time so I germed another seed and stuffed in a jiffy pellet and she popped looking beautiful. I just plopped that jiffy pellet into a 1L pot of coco so we should be off to the races with that one.
I also started another seed, Stuffed Blue Cherry by Raw Genetics. I want a back up just in case the blue slushie doesn't make it.
So far a rough start to the new 4x4 😅 first lesson learned: the smaller the environment, the easier it is to control.
Cheers yall!😁
08/04/2026- I germinated a 2nd Blue Slushie just in case the first one didn't make it, it had a rough start but ended up pulling through so now I have 2 Blue Slushies, 1 Stuffed Blue Cherry and 1 Cherry Grenada growing.

ThePurpleAlchemist We have officially recovered from our failed germination attempts 😅
Only problem now(very small one) is that the plants are all at different life stages but I don't think that will be a big deal. I originally planned on growing 2 plants to keep things a bit easier for my first time in a 4x4 and growing in coco with auto watering but after messing up the germ on the first try, I started extra just in case on the second try and I hate throwing away a plant so now we are growing 4 plants!
The vertical growth has been close to zero with this new mammoth light! I'm assuming it's the spectrum doing that, it's my first time using a top tier LED so this is all pretty new to me.
Once they all get established and into their final pots, I will install the automatic watering system and hopefully watch them explode with growth!
Alright growmies, c ya next time!
08/13/2026- Lil picture update. 2nd Blue Slushie is 10 days old and is coming a long slowly... I maybe overdid it on the watering which could have stunted it.

ThePurpleAlchemist I moved the 2nd Blue Slushie to another diary since it's the same age as the Stuffed Blue Cherry and will make updating easier and less confusing.
These 2 girls are coming along nicely, the CG looks a little hungry. I'm trying to let the other 2 plants catch up a little bit but I'm not sure how successful that's going to be since they are about a week or 2 behind.
I'm going to top them at the 6th node.
08/16/2026-Both of the plants have been officially topped.

ThePurpleAlchemist They started to bush out after being topped. They seem to be growing healthy, the CG is a heavy feeder I think. Took off a set of fan leaves to let the lower growth catch up.
They will be going into their final resting place today or tomorrow and hooked up to the automated drip system.

ThePurpleAlchemist Alright I had these gals in 5 gallon fabric pots but after hooking up the drip irrigation, I realized that I went way too big for pot size and these 5gal pots would require a lot of water to achieve 10-20% run off. So I downsized them to 1.75 gal pots, hopefully these will work better for a drain to waste system. If not, I'll just go back to hand watering I suppose.
I'm going to flip sooner than later, I don't want this 4x4 turning into a jungle on my first grow in it.
Happy growing growmies!
