alphatim NLAF and we're off and running, First grow, not sure what to expect so we are just winging it. I researched alot, before I grew these in this small space. These are just about the smallest plants I could find. We'll see how this goes on a 150w cobb.

alphatim Plant Health Seems Ok, The plant had fallen over one morning when I went to look. I twisted together a few bread-ties and inserted them into a small hole in the net-cup and fashioned a crutch. This helped for the interim until I cut a piece of surplus mat I had and made a holder. This seems to support the stem more than anything at this point.

alphatim I'm concerned about humidity and root zone temperature at the moment. The plant leaves appear to be drying out even though it's literally sitting in water. I've added some ice cubes to the res for now.. and will be doing so in the hotter parts of the days ahead. I'll also be cutting a mat to go over the plant inside the grow box to shield it from the led, even though it's not as powerful as a huge hid light.. I want to see if it helps. As far as humidity I've taken a water bottle and am misting the grow area every once in a while, as well as adding a cup with some water in it to the small grow area, as well as slowed my air intake and exhaust fans down. I'll post more pictures as I see changes. So I had been concerned that the humidity was too low in the little box I have these in and I'd decided to just spray them a few times with water, I also had changed the water. I didn't think I got the nute's to hot but.. the plant did not like it at all.. (i'm still not sure if this is the nute's or spraying the plant that caused this.) After changing to just tap water ph'd down to 5.55 ph it appears to have helped. The growth on this plant has all but stopped.. I think I hurt it pretty bad, anyways. There was a 2nd water change this week with 1.5 gal water ph'd to 5.5... I'm making twice daily adjustments to try and keep the water as close to 6ph as I can. ok so it appears I read the great white feed chart wrong and tried to kill the plant I was putting in enough great white for 10 gal. not 1......

Grow Questions

alphatimstarted grow question 6y ago
So, I think this plant is going to get a bit bigger, and a thinking about transferring this grow into an unused upstairs shower space. Do you think it'd hurt the plant to move it 30+ days into the grow?

It won't hurt the plant is you minimize the stress and environmental changes. I've done it plenty of time and things carried on normally, best of luck! 👊

Hi @alphatim! As long as the environment conditions are the same (same light, same temperatures, same humidity) your plant should be fine. If you don't want to move her, you still have other options, such as Low Stress Training or Supercropping. Hope this will help, keep us updated and happy growing! 👊

It won't hurt. I move my plants more than I want to admit to. 😂. I moved 1 plant twice, both during flower and she was just fine (Super skunk!). It may cause some stress, but just make sure you have everything set up before you start the move. Lights on and fan on. It is more important to get her in a healthy environment, once there she will blow up! happy growing!! 👊
