Protocol_JHP 100% direct-sow. Seeds were placed directly into their final 7-gallon fabric pots containing BioBizz Light-Mix.
GG4 Auto: Seeded directly into the substrate on June 21st. Sprouted successfully between June 24th and 25th.
OG Kush Auto: Seeded directly into the substrate on June 23rd. Sprouted successfully between June 26th and 27th.
Lighting: set at 50%, fixed at a distance of 82 cm from the floor profile.
Pots were initially only filled to about 75% capacity. Because the brand-new seedlings were sitting low inside the deep fabric rims, they were trapped in a slight micro-canyon that restricted early air movement and side-wall light reflection.
GG4 Dynamic: Due to the low soil line and early light positioning, the GG4 rapidly stretched for light immediately upon sprouting, became top-heavy, and fell over.
OG Kush Dynamic: Sprouted short and compact, managing the early 75% soil line restriction without major elongation.

Protocol_JHP GG4 Auto: The early leggy stretch that caused the stem to collapse has been fixed. The plant remains manually propped to ensure it stays upright.
OG Kush Auto: Showing a completely different phenotypic expression early on. It remains low, squat, and compact, spreading its first true sets of single and three-finger serrated leaves horizontally without any vertical leggy behavior.
The Mars Hydro TS1000 remains locked at 50% intensity and a fixed height of 82 cm from the floor.
Both specimens are operating inside 7-gallon fabric pots filled to 75% capacity. The plants are still sitting low inside the fabric canyon, creating a sheltered micro-climate with reduced direct airflow across the top layer of substrate, keeping ambient humidity slightly higher right around the young leaf tissue.
No heavy feeds or automated runoffs yet. Watering is strictly minimal and targeted right around the base of the stems. No commercial nutrients added yet; the plants are relying entirely on the gentle, organic baseline charge present in the Light-Mix.

Protocol_JHP Growth accelerated massively this week as the initial root systems completely occupied the lower layers of the substrate, setting up a major intervention at the end of the week.
GG4 Auto: The stem successfully calloused and hardened, completely recovering from the early sprout collapse. The structural props were safely removed. The plant has begun throwing out its initial lateral node branches.
OG Kush Auto: Continuing its dense, low-profile horizontal progression. The main stem is visibly thickening at the base, and node spacing remains extremely tight.
By July 9th, the substrate had dried out completely. With a weekend trip approaching, it was time to permanently fix the 75% soil line deficit.
Soil Top-Up: July 9th, GG4 Auto 7-gallon fabric pot topped up with fresh BioBizz Light-Mix, burying the elongated lower stems and expanding the root zone. July 10th OG Kush Auto was completed the same. Both plants received a full drench from the hose (roughly 4L)
Lighting: Mars Hydro TS1000 was dialed up from 50% to 75% intensity on July 9th, remaining at the fixed height of 82 cm from the floor profile.

Protocol_JHP Following the July 9th top up the garden experienced an absolute explosion in vegetative mass.
The phenotypic differences between the two genetics are now radically visible, and manual metrics have been established.
GG4 Auto: Has rapidly scaled into a clean, vertical candelabra tower structure. The lateral branches are uniform and climbing fast.
Current Dimensions: 38 cm Height x 47 cm Width.
Base Stem: Calloused, thick, and fully stabilized at 5.0 cm circumference.
OG Kush Auto: Has developed a sprawling, ultra-low, high-density horizontal canopy factory. The main trunk did not split or flatten out—it grew into a massive, heavy, perfectly round woody tree trunk.
Current Dimensions: 29 cm Height x 58 cm Width.
The Tree Trunk: Sitting at an absurd 7.5 cm circumference at the base. (Barneys Seeds you should be proud of this one)
Mars Hydro TS1000 is running steady at 75% intensity, maintaining its position at 82 cm from the floor profile.
Airflow: Controlled via a small desktop circulation fan coordinating with the room's natural passive ambient airflow to keep the massive OG canopy breathing.
Irrigation & Nutrition: This week marked the official introduction of the liquid feeding.
To keep it simple and effective, both feeds consisted of 3 Liters of total fluid volume per pot, using an eyeballed dose of 1ml/L BioBizz Grow mixed directly into the tap water.
Substrate Response: The fully filled 7-gallon BioBizz Light-Mix pots absorbed the 3-Liter volume flawlessly, with the root engines drinking heavily and showing minimal runoff.
