Sow / Sprout: GG4 direct-sown June 21 (sprouted June 24β25); OG Kush direct-sown June 23 (sprouted June 26β27).
Hydration: Plain tap water only. Targeted minimal base watering around stem bases to encourage early lateral root search.
Micro-Climate Note: Pot rims restricted light, causing GG4 to stretch and fall over. Propped stem; recovered cleanly with hardened base. OG stayed squat and flat.
Lighting: 50% intensity at 80 cm height.

Substrate Intervention (July 9β10): Topped off both 7-gal pots to the brim with fresh Light-Mix to bury elongated lower stems and expand root volume.
Hydration (July 9β10): Performed a heavy 4.0L plain tap water drench per pot from the hose to settle the new soil and charge the root zone.
Lighting: Bumped intensity from 50% to 75%.

Substrate & Root Reset: Executed a 4.0L plain tap water displacement flush per pot following an early-week nutrient spike. Leaf serrations showing "praying" posture, confirming zero root shock and active transpiration. Entering a 3β5 day dry-out.
OG Kush: Compact tabletop canopy (77 cm total width) with 14β16 primary top shoots and ultra-tight 1.5β2.5 cm internodes.
GG4: Athletic vertical tower with 9β11 dominant main colas and 4.5β6 cm internodes. Stem junctions showing calloused lignification ("knuckling") to support upcoming flower weight.
