So here im doing a fast grow with the critical and girl scout coockies, i germinated the coockies one week later so the stretch wouldnt outgrow my indica dominant critical
Veg under 200 watt
4weeks for the critical
3 weeks for the coockies
the plants are pretty low because i only got 1square meter coverage with the leds. The plants will stretch enough to fill the net and put on some weight.
The video is from day 5 flowering right after i put the net above them, just enough to push the branches a bit open so the light reaches more bud sites.
DAY 15 of flower, start of week 3.
Flowers show up on the critical
The coockies had only 3 weeks veg so they might need another week under 12/12 before they make bud
Nutrients on day 17
Start of week 4
I removed the net because of a heatwave a put the plants in a cold room during the night
The coockies are now starting week 3 of flower
i gave basic nutes everytime they were dry
Day 24: the temperatures are perfect (24 celcius) the buds start to show up on all plants
Day 28: start of week 5 i start to see a cal mag defency on the critical

I got no calmag as im very low on cash right now. hope she will do great without it
ill put more pictures as the week progresses, the critical finishes at day 50 so theres only 3 weeks left

The calmag problem is very visible on one of the critical (bottom left) no too bad, the girl scout cookies had a nice stretch and the leaves gained a lot of size everything Goes well the coockies drink a lot now. See you at week 5
next time i have to veg more then 4 weeks to increase yield. it finishes quickly and big yield for the short veg time. im also very happy with the optic 4 wich made the buds dense from top to bottom. i might upgrade to cocos or hydro next grow, or maybe both ;)

the other plant with the calmag issue is one of the critical, i got 4 plants in total 2 from each species
the buds start to get bigger, ill stop the nutes for the critical and just give 1ml/l plagron green sensation, in other words ill cut the (N) out and just feed em water with bloom booster when they dry

some leaves are just falling of on the critical because of the calmag issue still the buds get fatter, also the coockies start getting brown pistils but are far from ready
the only thing i give is the plagron PK booster (green sensation) with tap water

the critical is the plant u see first the coockies are in top left corner and bottom right. the midle and top right are my 2 new criticals who are still in VEG but i put them in the flowertent to speed it up a litle (the light is stronger and i got the space) when the flower light goes out i move those back to my veg room (bathroom uhum) 😅
nothing too special this week ill probably harvest the critical next weekend and let the coockies go another 3-4 weeks. the buds are fattening and i see the tips of those leaves have slight signs of nute burn so just water from here.

just waaw. the buds are massive. this got flowered under an 400watt LED this is insane... i will update the dry weight in 2 weeks. amazing smell. i see ambers here and there some are very dark almost black so ill cut her down, the smell is so powerfull im kinda scared to smoke this lol. very dense nugs and thc everywhere
@Reaper,but still the buds are nicely developing at the stage that they are in so great job so far with the limited resources that you have because i red that you re-use your soil👏👏😉😉
Very inspirational! I bought three of these lights and one of their single 54 watt COBs as well. I expected to veg considerably longer than you did. What size room did you have her in and how much screen space had she taken before you flipped and after stretch - if you kept scroging during stretch? My guess was 60 days from clone to fill a 3' x 3' screen before stretch. But I am trying to have low expectations, so I budgeted for 90 days veg and 90 days flower and projected an 8 ounce yield. I am going to run Royal Gorilla and, while the first clones from her veg up, some autos from Barney's Farm -- Gorilla Zkittlez and and Glue Gelato. The seeds are in the mail. I was thinking I'd run 3 parts soil to 1 part perlite in 15 gallon pots. In Canada we have a 4 plant max so bigger seems better. How much clearance below the ceiling does the Optic 4 need? Did it generate much heat from either the fixture or the ballast? I haven't opened my boxes yet as I suck at not scattering stuff around. But I am trying to plan out my space in a low ceiling basement. Thanks for any advice you can offer. Hopefully I catch you in a chatty sativa mood.
@Tuffgong, lol i am indeed high rn 😆 ok ill try to explain the light: the grow tent was 1.5 x 1.5 x 2 meters, the net itself was 1 square meter i flipped to flower at barely 4weeks veg.. i have the feeling they stressed a bit because they were to small had only 6 leaves. in my last diarie “critical” u can see i use the same light on 2 plants and harvested 250 grams dry with only 5 weeks veg. there was 60cm space from weed plants to the light, it did not give much heat but still made the tent more warm, during summer the ventilation made noise because of the warm environment. thats it and very low electricity bill (i turned bloom booster ON from week 1 flower) i vegged under just the COBs. good luck
