gullywompr Moved into the tent 7/27, in a fabric pot by then, wick-fed from a reservoir underneath. Organic soil, plain water. Croplock took over the exhaust fan and humidifier the same morning. First week in a new room, so it chased the humidity band from both sides. Around 7/31 the newest leaves yellowed between the veins; slurry pH read 6.6, so not a lockout.

gullywompr Humid week. RH ran 59–91%, and the fan did most of the work (500+ vent calls against 4 humidify). The pale new leaves from last week were green again by 8/4–8/5. A second air sensor went in outside the tent on 8/1, so the fan knows what air it is pulling in. Daily top-of-plant photos started 8/4.

gullywompr Measured 31 cm (about 12") tall on 8/16. Stocky, nodes stacked tight. The leaf ran about 1 °C cooler than the air nearly all week, which is why air VPD and leaf VPD disagree. Mold risk read elevated most of the week on humidity alone; nothing found on the plant.

gullywompr Started measuring the light this week (a spectral light sensor up in the canopy). Mid-week the canopy got warm under the lamp and the fan ran on over-temp. The camera looked at the plant 86 times and flagged nothing.

gullywompr Light dimmed to about 65% and went to 18/6 from 8/26. About 450 µmol/m²/s at the top of the canopy, DLI around 28. Leaf VPD sat at or under 0.8 kPa for most of the week — damp at the leaf even when the air number looked fine.

gullywompr Watered 9/2. The newest flush showed a pale yellow band on the tips and margins; mature fans clean. Best fit is the low leaf VPD the week before, not feed (it's plain water). Raised the camera 3" on 9/5. Flipped to flower 9/6.

gullywompr Lights moved to 9 am on 9/7 at 13 hours, then true 12/12 from 9/12. Late-summer humidity arrived: the mold-risk index ran up to 97–100 with the tent 4–6 points wetter than the room. Changed the fan's purge rule on 9/13: purge only when the room air is really drier, run at least 10 minutes, then leave it alone.

gullywompr Swapped both air sensors to SHT45s on 9/14; the fan now starts on time and runs the right length. Mold pressure was the whole week — the fan purged 136 times and held off 153 times when a purge had nothing left to give. Nothing flagged on the plant. Canopy fills the tent wall to wall.

gullywompr Pistils. First confirmed 9/21 at a node on the main stem, day 15 after the flip — it's a female. They were likely showing before the camera caught them. Late-September Mid-Atlantic humidity in full effect: 93% the morning of 9/23, 86% at 9 pm. Stretch made it hard to keep the camera far enough back, and new fan leaves blocked its view. Defoliated 9/26. After that the pod camera could see the tops again: pistils at several bud sites (the 9/26 8:12 pm close-up).

gullywompr Flower week 4 (days 81-87). Tent 71-83 F, humidity 62-72%. Leaf averaged 75 F. 10/1 the camera's pistil check saw tufts on seven hourly close-ups and the hub wrote FEMALE into the record on its own, at 19:05. Ten days after the grower's eye (9/21). Mold-pressure purges ran six of seven days, risk index 71-97 at 66-70% humidity. The room it vents into averaged 66%. 9/29 the hub re-adopted the humidifier plug. Camera this week: 46 frames "no finding", 37 "inconclusive". Photos: the 10/1 12:05 frame, and the 12:05 close-up of a bud site at 3x. gullywompr Flower week 5 (Oct 5-11). Tent 69-79 F, 46-72% RH. The room it vents into dropped to 40%, the driest of the run, and the hub's mold-pressure model fired on 2 days against 6 last week. Oct 9: light moved off the pulleys onto the roof poles and set to 100%. The tent's light meter moved under 2%. Oct 9, 16:12: one leaf-temperature reading jumped 2 C for a minute. The hub read it as dry air at the leaf, shut the fan and ran the humidifier (56 to 67% RH) before the next reading put it right. Filed as a bug; a fix is on the bench. Camera: pistil tufts on nearly every lit close-up (11 of 13 on Oct 10); health read 39 clean / 42 inconclusive for the week. The tops are now about 25 cm from the lens. Defoliated Oct 6. gullywompr The week ran 69-86 F in the tent (average 76), humidity 48-71 % (average 64). The exhaust fan has not stopped since 10/13 9:26 am. On 10/17 the box wrote that the fan cannot bring the tent into band in this room: the room the fan pulls from was at 59 %, so venting can't go much lower. Hottest minute 10/14 8:10 pm, 85.5 F; that evening the leaf read 82.8 F, over the pack's ceiling, and the box flagged it. The leaf-temperature check refused readings for two hours on the morning of 10/17 (canopy 'too sparse'); a bench build now asks it only in the seedling phases, and it has not refused since. Not released yet. The camera saw pistil tufts on most lit close-ups; its pollen-sac check said no on every read. One caution: on 10/17 the IR sensor's own body read below the air, so that day's leaf-air gap is not trusted. No hands-on work this week. Photos: the 10/17 noon pod frame and today's page card.
