mo2096 From the idea of a cucumber in the grow tent, it quickly turned into a "Hey, we can fit a cannabis plant in there too!"
The new HomeBox is now stocked with a Frostbanger Auto and a Blue Dream Auto, while the other two seeds can be found in my roommate's GrowDiary.
Let's see what the seeds will do, let's see 😅
For starters, the plants are only getting light and water.
That seems to be enough for now; after 48 hours, all are at least 3-5 cm tall, with the cucumber clearly being the front-runner 😂😅
The cups are sitting on a heating mat at about 30°C and are growing steadily, which is why the decision was made to add a small cup of mint as well.
The mint, like the cucumber, is in herb soil and will initially only be watered; there will be occasional small updates on it 😉
Let's see what happens with the plants.
Stay tuned, stay fresh, and now - stay minty?😂😅

mo2096 It was a strong week, but not without losses.
In general, we try to keep the humidity above 50%, the picture captures the low point after the current heat wave.
My Frostbanger Auto (Picture 1 Back Right) is coming along beautifully and is really getting cozy.
We fertilized for the first time this week with a small amount of Canna Coco A and B, and the plants seem to be thriving; you can already see the first roots on the side.
However, the amount was very small and more of a rough estimate than actually measured, so take the stated 2ml per A and B with a grain of salt.
Unlike my Blue Dream...
Unfortunately, the seed was a bust, as there were still no significant roots visible after a week.
So the decision was made to discard the seedling - a decision I view with both a heavy heart and a light heart, as we are now replacing it with a Gorilla Cookies Auto 😇😇😇
The seed will now germinate, but will be added to this grow diary later.
The cucumber:
Sprouting, thriving, exploding!
I planted the cucumber, just like the mint, in herb soil, and this combination with consistent moisture seems to be doing wonders for it. The stem is sturdy, the cotyledons are accompanied by the first true leaf, and every day you can see a significant jump in its size.
So it looks like it’s going to be a very big cucumber😅
Two strawberries have also been sown for two days now; let’s see how they do...
I’ll report on them here and there, but the focus will remain on the cucumber and the two cannabis strains.
