A super hard hitting indica with a very dank sweet and gassy taste. Very easy to grow and produces rock hard dense buds which tickle your nose when smelled
What a great plant. Zambeza's Lemon Kush. It's easy, quick, this one didn't rot, and above all - it is absolutely delicious to smoke. It's mostly sweet and non-descript in the bag but extremely gassy when smoked with a very slight hint of earthiness.
So far, my favorite Zambeza plant. It does remind of the Critical XXL, a similar taste, but this lemon kush is more potent.
Easy to grow for beginners, no rot - I try my best to avoid it... Not easy to smoke for beginners! This plant is absolutely narcotic.
A very good leaf to calyx ratio. Easy to trim.
If I had to go back in time I would plant this seed again!
WIsh I had some better pictures. The other plant in the room outgrew this one so the kush received less light than it could. Still an impressive result after being outcompeted! 100g of bud and 30g of fluff
Actually, a little over 100g, let's say 104. A decent amount had been smoked already.
@DTHEREID, here, I'll throw you a bone. These filters list most of the strips worth using in a variety of sizes. Higher lumens/watt = better obviously. THere's many other places selling leds, Cutter.com.au have top of the line led strips.

@DTHEREID, Thx! it depends which continent you are in. In north america you can use Digikey for the whole build, otherwise if you are in Europe I recommend buying LEDs from digikey (if not available locally) and drivers from TME.eu because europeans have to pay VAT over digikey's items which come from USA. The drivers are more expensive than leds. Another site which stock those leds are Arrow.com but I never used it. Apart from the LEDs and driver, everything is just hardware store supplies :)
Look for the ledgardener video series on youtube, and his website ledgardener.com, that will teach most you need to know about leds, their forum is a goldmine of information.
@BillMonroe, where might one be able to find a online retailer that sells all components needed? Iβm looking to upgrade and would rather make my own board with leds.
Also beautiful grow! Chunky colas, looks like it will be a great smoke.
wow and wow some more Bill. looking amazing in there for week 4 to.sub lighting is an idea i have wondered on a few times. would mixing the spectrum instead of linear layout serve it better?. curious.com. lpl
@Ganjagrandaddy, thanks! Sorry for the late reply. I stopped with the sub lighting because it made watering too inconvenient - I'll make a proper fixture for it next time. It's definitely a great idea I think, I noticed significant growth in the lower buds that received light vs. those that didn't! More pistils.
i'm not sure, what do you mean by mixing the spectrum instead of a linear layout? I think the spectrum can influence things but it's not so important to me. As long as a lot more light is coming there, it's great! If I had 1000W of led, I would consider 800w at the top and 200w at the bottom! Sandwich of light following the 80/20 rule. Try it some time if you can =)
heehee man after my own heart. smoking as you go is the only way. got to know how she is doing. That yield is a good one too. something about lemon/citric strains , they hit some great yields. I scrogged a super iced grapefruit mother plant as emergency and she gave me nearly 10oz. I was blown away.great result. Bill
Strain sound delicious! Ya my blue cheese is a slow flower too so no worries. I grow out 4 other cheese strains the same. Mine I usually end up with 9 or 10 weeks of flowering.
