HoneyBlunt42 The third layer of leaves has begun to emerge, and the sprout looks healthy and green. I moved it to a liter seedling cup and mixed 5 grams of PowderFeeding Bio Grow (half a measuring spoon) into the top layer.

HoneyBlunt42 It's the beginning of the third week – the plant is actively growing outward. The foliage is healthy. I've been watering it from the very beginning with water and CalMag and acid to a pH of 6. By the end of the week, the sprout had reached the fourth node. It was time to trim the shoots below the third node and top the plant above the third. Then, repeat the process. The main grow box is currently occupied; this procedure trains the plant and produces 4–8 large main colas, which will later be supported by a ScrOG net.

HoneyBlunt42 IZI SourBlues survived the pruning, then a couple of days later, the transplant. I'll leave it for a couple of weeks without movement, watering it only. End of Week Four. The plant is looking beautiful by the end of the week. It completed the topping and trimming of everything below the third layer of leaves with great confidence, and has begun growing even more aggressively.

HoneyBlunt42 With IZI, everything is very easy. Automatic watering and conditions are close to ideal. The only thing missing for complete control is a CO2 generator with a sensor. I'm thinking of transplanting it to a 7-10 liter coco plant in a week or two and switching it to a 12/12 cycle.

HoneyBlunt42 It's mid-eighth week from the nut plant. About 7-10 days ago, I switched to 12/12 (end of week 6). Sour Blues is very compact, 27 cm tall. A paradise for engravers with compact spaces. In the week since switching, the 12/12 has grown in size, but hasn't tripled in height. I had a mamba plant nearby, and it's grown significantly - 48 cm. Both plants are in the same box from the nut plant; it's interesting to see and compare. At first, I thought it was the small bag (2 liters), but another experiment disproved that assumption. The thing is, I simultaneously planted another IZI seed in a plastic basket with 1.5 liters of coconut for hydroponics on HESI compote. I'm also comparing it with the same variety, but on DWC. The height is the same - 27 cm. But the width: the DWC took up almost the entire 40 x 40 cm box. The sprout in the bag is a 20 x 20 cm square. Both plants are in separate boxes, under the same 40W LED lamp. It looks like I'll be returning to the DWC soon. Now, on the DWC, it drinks exactly one liter per day at 15 liters. The clones have taken root and are now growing without a greenhouse. The fastest one took root within a week, and the others took two or three weeks to take root.

HoneyBlunt42 The plant is thriving in its fourth week of the 12/12 light cycle. Watering with CalMag and pH Down. I also gave it one extra feeding of 5 liters with Simplex PK Boost (1 ml/L). The hydroponic plant is about twice as wide—it has completely filled the 40x40 cm grow box. The fan leaves are nearly the size of a palm, and the foliage is dense. The day before yesterday, it shed four lower fan leaves on its own. It seems 40W of light is becoming insufficient. I’ve added Hesi Boost and Hesi PK to the nutrient solution, following the chart dosages. Every day, I top up with 1 liter of water containing CalMag and pH Down. I’m thinking about setting up an automated watering pump to run once a day. I’ve noticed the pH dropping to 5.5 daily; adding 1 ml/L of SillicX and a liter of filtered water brings it back to the 6.0–6.2 range. By the next day, however, it tends to drop to 5.5 or lower. It might be time to completely replace the nutrient solution.

HoneyBlunt42 At the end of week 10, both plants look great. Hydro IZI has stopped growing vertically and is flowering. The inner shoots were turning pale, so I added another 40W of light—an identical LED fixture. The plant in coco was moved to a 7L pot. Yesterday, I added PowderFeeding BioBloom; it needs to be reapplied during the 3rd or 5th week, depending on the strain. Today, I prepared 15L of water (pH 5) and mixed in 15g of BioEnhancer (humic acids and seaweed extract). I’ll be using this solution for watering over the next 24 hours. I completely changed the nutrient solution in the Hydro IZI’s DWC bucket—this is only the second full change of the entire cycle. By this morning, the pH had dropped to 5.2. After the change, I added the full Hesi lineup according to the schedule for the fifth week of flowering and adjusted the pH back to 6.3—the optimal level for the flowering stage. The DWC plant is currently twice the size of the other; it’s only limited by the grow box itself, and it has very dense branching. The coco plant received less light and was only moved to the 7L pot with flowering nutrients yesterday, but I think it will catch up to the first one by harvest time.

HoneyBlunt42 Both plants are thriving by the end of week 11. The Hydro plant is much darker—a rich, deep green. It looks clearly healthier, larger, and denser than the Coco plant (which is on BioFeeding)—about two to three times the size. I’m going to give the Coco plant a single dose of Hesi Hydro Bloom. The hydroponic plant drops the pH to 5.5 every day. That’s the lower limit, and during the flowering stage, it’s better to keep it above 6. I drain 4–5 liters of the solution and top it up with reverse osmosis water containing CalMag and a pH of 7; I definitely add a liter every day. I’ve only done a full solution change once during the flowering stage. A couple of days later, the new solution’s pH started dropping to the 5.1–5.5 range again. Without daily adjustments, nutrient lockout would certainly occur. DWC is very demanding; you can't leave it for a week without an automated pH system. Both plants have started budding; the hydro plant is developing dense bud sites all the way from the base, unlike the Coco plant in the 60x60x180 tent (which takes up a quarter of the space). I’d like advice from anyone who has dealt with pH drops occurring 4–5 weeks after switching to a 12/12 light cycle: how can I stabilize the pH for the long term? Should I get a pH-up product?
