billyblanks Double Solo cup method with a clear solo cup w/holes poked in the bottom for drainage. Had the ts600 20" above giving about 120 ppfd. Once I realized, I did start going up (by like 40/50ppfd) until I got to 320 at the beginning of week 2. I did have a oscillating fan going for stem strengthening Im measuring ppfd with the photone app on android using a regular, 20 weight, copy paper small square placed over the front camera. ( the recommended for this app is 22 IIRC) so im not too sure how accurate the ppfd numbers are. But I had consistent results, so I was able to work with that

billyblanks Transplanted to 3 gal fabric pots (day 10) filled with hp promix pre buffered with calmag ro water. First feed was at 12 days. I probably should've started at 200ppfd and go up from there.

billyblanks Ramped up feed to 15 ml gal through the week. Started feeding about every other day and ramped up ppfd to high 500s/ low 600s by the end of week 3 (they didnt like that). LST started day 15 using training wire and metal garden stakes.

billyblanks Time to stretch! Week 4 RF3 starting to preflower with GC starting at the end of the week. GC is smaller than the others making me think its the short/ squat pheno. BPP showed yellowing tips and taco‐ing with 550ppfd. Other ones show around 650 ish. Got some preflowering at the very end of the week from Purple lemonade

billyblanks Girls are in full stretch mode. Starting to outgrow garden stakes, so just using the training wire spread and even canopy. Defoliating as needed. GC faint smell, but by the end of the week I had to connect the carbon filter. I added Spider farmer TS5 40w lights and put them on the same timer as my main. I mounted them along the sides ~2ft from the ground using magnetic sticky tabs. I then rotate the pots 1/4 turn every day. I need to mention that I do a sporadic defoliation from about 3 weeks onward(after first lst). Just as only necessary(i.e. if a fan leaf is shading other growth, for better light penetration, later on to promote airflow, etc)

billyblanks The RF3 mix pack seed is showing some crazy purple coloring ruling out the others and leaving Purple Lemonade, sweet!. GC is starting to smell earthy n that GG4 epoxy/glue smell. PL is faint but also a bit earthy. Both increase in intensity as the week goes on. No smell from BPP yet BPP is outstretching the other 2 by a lot. But it is also the most sensitive to ppfd. So I had to adjust the light (both height and intensity) to accommodate her, and then placed the other 2 on some DYI spacers to keep their canopies at ~ 450. I did occasionally try to push throughout, but kept coming back to around that number.

billyblanks Stretch is over with the girls going full bloom. Went to 27ml gal on the bloom 1 &2 for gc and PL. BPP seems to be okay at 25. I had to go down to 20mls/gal for gc n bpp with them showing a lil stress from feeding. Also did a flush in between the last 2 feedings. BPP still liking between 450-500ppfd w/ the other 2 liking a little more. Have em on risers to compensate especially since BPP has really stretched, almost double the GC's height

billyblanks Purple lemonade is smelling stronger now actually does have a sweet powdered lemonade smell. Very pleasant smell. By the end of the week it was competing with the Gorilla Cookies. She also started drinking less and slowly starting to fade this week. Pistols are starting to brown and shrink. Going to check trichomes using an usb microscope from here on out. @ day52 he trichs appear mostly cloudy to me and even saw some pinkish/lavender ones! Such a pretty plant. Cut out cal mag this week. Last feeding was on day 54 with a 5, 5, 5 of the foop Gorilla cookies is very loud and getting very frosty. It smells like GG4 ish with a sweet end, so very good. Hits you in the face as soon as you open the tent. Both GC and PL started clawing with 25, 25, 25 of the foop bloom 1,2, and sweetener. Went down to 20-20-20 at the beginning of the week. Banana Purple Punch is a tall one! She started to smell like a green banana peel, but you have to get really close to smell it. Had to do a bit of defoliation this week as she got pretty busy, especially in the middle.

billyblanks Quick note: so i knew that growing in hp promix and using reverse osmosis water that you should add cal/mag. I did NOT know that you should cut it about after the stretch. GC is the one it affected the most. I cut it at the end of week 8. Banana Purple punch is starting to really fatten up and smells amazing. Definitely a candy sweet smell, but because of the other 2 smelling so strong I can only smell it when I move her around. She seems to be happy feeding her 25/25/25ml/gal of the foop bloom1,2,sweetener. Ppfd above 460 is where she starts to taco up. Gorilla Cookies started to show some pinks in the buds and is FROSTY. The initial GG smell is now balanced with a funky sweet smell that battles PL for tent dominance. Went down to about 16/16/15 ml/gal of the foop. Was clawing down at 20/20/20. Started really showing light stress at the beginning of the week. Removed some of its spacers to where it was getting 350-400 ppfd and seemed to respond well. Showing mostly cloudy trichomes(~75%) Purple Lemonade's purples have really deepened almost to a black, especially in contrast with the leaf fade . Smell is strong and still reminds me of the powdered lemonade mix. She also started requiring less watering and I had to go down to about 12mlgal of the foop by the end of the week. Seems to like 450-500 ppfd. By the end of the week i still see a little bit of clear trichomes and maybe 2% amber. So ill continue to check every 3 days. Because im using hp promix that acts more like coco(in regards to holding nutes) im gonna stop feeding around 5-7 days before I plan to cut down.

billyblanks Banana Purple Punch is really fattening up this week. The smell is stronger and is getting a little funky also. Kind of like bananas left in a gym locker. Started 30/ 30/30ml/gal with her this week, but ive been feeding/watering them about 64oz - 2L each in their 3 gal pots since week 3. Gorilla Cookies, my little guy. So Frosty! The GG smell I initially got from her really mellowed out to this sweeter doughy smell. I had got her situated with the light situation last week. The leaves were even opening up n un-curling. But by the end of this week it started showing light stress again. I lowered the light a little but also took her off of her last 1/2" spacer. Really starting to drink less also. Went down to about 10/10/10 ml/gal on her feeding. Purple Lemonade smells like purple lemonade, really is the best way to describe the smell. It is such a pretty plant, especially now with the fading leaves contrasting with the deepening purples of the flowers. Harvested 5 days after the last pics here. Fed her 8/8 about 5 days before and gave a good watering 3 days before.
