PavementPunk Decided to take a clone off my original Z42 probably right before it was too late to attempt. Ive had a slight issue with spiderweb mold growing on the surface of the soil around the base of the clone. Even a little on the other seedlings too. No worries i spritzed it with 3% peroxide. I think updating all these journals is more work than the actual gardening lol. Happy growing friends ✌️

PavementPunk **Date:** Aug 12 | Day 14 in Vegetative **Strain:** Z42#1 Clone **Setup:** Outdoor Mesh Enclosure (Straw Mulch + Organic Living Soil) **Observations & Canopy Progress:** The Z42#1 clone is officially 2 weeks into vegetative growth and progressing smoothly outdoors. Canopy is lush and vibrant green, showing strong apical growth and expanding fan leaves. The stem has hardened off nicely and internodes are spacing out evenly. The straw mulch layer is keeping the upper soil layer moist and cool under the outdoor canopy setup. **Environment & Care:** Protected inside the mesh shade structure to keep heavy pests out while maintaining good airflow. Soil microbial activity benefiting from the Aug 5 Myco+ feed and yesterday's full 0.7 Gal pH 6.4 soak. **Actions & Plan:** * **Watering:** Dry-back period today following yesterday's full soak. Checking pot weight tomorrow before the next watering. * **Next Steps:** As lower secondary shoots begin pushing out, keep an eye on structure to decide on topping vs. LST to open up the middle canopy.

PavementPunk 8/18/26 Z42 #1 Clone — Vegetative / Transition Update (Week 4 / Day 21 Veg) 📊 Vital Stats & Measurements * Growth Stage: Vegetative / Pre-Flower (Day 21 / 3 Weeks 3 Days total) * Plant Height: 11.0 inches * Environment / Ambient Temp: Outdoor Net House / Greenhouse (~99°F peak heat) * Substrate & Top Dress: Living soil in tan fabric pot, layered with pumice/rock aeration and straw mulch 💧 Watering & Feeding Log * Aug 11 (10:50 AM - Day 13 Veg): * 0.7 Gal plain pH 6.4 water — bottom watered and top-soaked with the pump sprayer for a thorough saturation. * Aug 13: * Folio/top pump spray with plain water (pH 6.4). * Aug 14 (AM): * Outdoor feed with Myco+ @ 75% strength (pH 6.4). * Aug 15 (8:00 AM): * Bottom watered and top watered using 1-gal pump sprayer. * Water chilled to 62°F – 65.5°F to protect root zone microbiology during the peak heat wave. * Aug 17 (9:16 AM - Day 19 Veg): * 0.5 Gal plain water (pH 6.4) poured in. * Aug 18 (Today / 10:00 AM - Day 21 Veg): * 0.7 Gal feed: * pH 6.0 Myco+ @ 75% strength * Fish & Kelp blend * Strive Veg/Bloom nutrients @ 100% strength (pH 6.4) * Extra added mycorrhizae 📝 Grower’s Notes & Plant Observations Growth & Structure: The Z42 clone is standing stout and sturdy at 11.0 inches. Her internodal spacing is nice and tight, showing healthy, compact branching and dark green foliage. The terminal crown and axillary shoot tips are beginning to show pre-flower development with fine pistil emergence. Canopy Health & Heat Resilience: Despite the outdoor heat pushing 99°F, this clone is holding up remarkably well. There is visible mineral/spray residue on the lower fan leaves from earlier IPM/foliar work, but new upward growth is clean and vibrant. The top mulch and stone layer have been critical for keeping the soil cool and moist through hot afternoons. Today's full feed (Strive + Fish & Kelp + Myco+) gave her a solid nutritional boost as she prepares to kick into full gear.

PavementPunk 🍬⛽️8/26/26 Z42 #1 Clone — Vegetative Surge Update (Week 5 / Day 29 Veg) 📊 Vital Stats & Measurements * Growth Stage: Vegetative (Day 29 / 4 Weeks 4 Days total) * Plant Height: 17.0 inches (+6.0" vertical growth since Day 21!) * Light Schedule: Natural Outdoor Photoperiod * Environment: Outdoor Net House / Greenhouse (Natural Ambient) * IPM & Setup: Blue sticky traps hung above canopy, fabric pot with stone top-dress and straw mulch 💧 Watering & Feeding Log * Aug 19 (12:13 PM - Day 22 Veg): * 0.5 Gal plain water (pH 6.3) — bottom watered for 30 minutes. * Aug 21 (Day 24 Veg): * 0.7 Gal plain water (pH 6.4 @ ~74°F) bottom/top drench. * 4:00 PM: 1.0 Gal equivalent — good hefty outdoor rain shower. * Aug 23 (10:49 AM - Day 25 Veg): * 1.3 Gal full-strength feed: Strive nutrients (5g Part A / 2.5g Part B, pH 6.3 @ ~73°F). * Aug 24 (6:03 PM - Day 27 Veg): * 0.1 Gal — extra 0.15" rain top-off. * Aug 25 (4:13 PM - Day 28 Veg): * 0.5 Gal equivalent — around 0.3" rain over the 24-hour period. 📝 Grower’s Notes & Plant Observations Vigor & Vegetative Stretch: The Z42 clone has made huge strides, pushing up to 17.0 inches tall with a sturdy, woody main stalk and thick, broad-fingered sun leaves. Structure & Canopy: She is holding an extremely compact, symmetrical Christmas-tree structure with solid lower lateral branching. The earlier foliar residue from IPM treatments has washed away cleanly with the recent rains, leaving behind pristine, dark green foliage that is actively praying. Root Health & Weather: Combining the heavy Strive feed on Aug 23 with bottom watering and natural rain drenches has kicked her root zone into overdrive. She is thriving under the outdoor netting with blue pest traps in place, staying strong, lush, and fully prepped for the transition to flower.
