Lambrettats1 Four Mendo Breath plants were started using a glass of water before transferring to paper towel and then Jiffy pellets. Once the tap roots emerged they were planted into 1L pots containing Canna Coco Professional Plus with added perlite and TNC MycorrMAX. The goal for this run is to document every stage as accurately as possible, recording both successes and mistakes along the way.

Lambrettats1 After a successful germination, all four Mendo Breath seedlings were planted into 1L pots filled with Canna Coco Professional Plus mixed with perlite. TNC MycorrMAX was incorporated into the growing medium to encourage rapid root development from the outset.
The seedlings were kept under the PAR+ 465W LED at reduced power to avoid unnecessary stress while establishing themselves. Feeding was intentionally light, using Formulex with pH adjusted to around 5.8–6.0. The objective this week was simple: build a healthy root system rather than chase rapid top growth.
Two seedlings showed slightly more stretch than the others, so they were transplanted a little deeper into the coco to strengthen the stems. By the end of the week, all four plants had established their first sets of true leaves and were showing healthy green growth.

Lambrettats1 During the second week, all four Mendo Breath plants established themselves well and began producing vigorous new growth. At this stage I transitioned onto the Samurai Coco nutrient range, using Coco A & B together with Cal-Mag and Samurai Roots. Rather than feeding to the manufacturer's schedule, I adjusted the nutrient strength according to EC, keeping the plants healthy and free from stress. My aim throughout this grow is to feed only what the plants require rather than the maximum recommended dosage.
The PAR+ 465W LED remained at a conservative output to encourage compact growth and tight internodal spacing. Environmental conditions remained stable, with pH maintained around 5.8, allowing the root system to develop quickly before any training was introduced.
By the end of the week, all four plants had developed into healthy, compact young plants with excellent colour and noticeably thicker stems than during the seedling stage.
Goals for Week 3
Continue building a strong root system.
Increase growth while maintaining compact internodal spacing.
Prepare for future training once the plants reach the appropriate node count.
Maintain stable pH and environmental conditions.

Lambrettats1 Week 3 – Building the Foundation
The Mendo Breath plants continued to develop exactly as hoped throughout Week 3. Growth was strong across all four plants, with noticeably thicker stems and increasingly tight internodal spacing under the PAR+ 465W LED. The plants had now established healthy root systems and were beginning to show the vigorous growth needed to support the long vegetative period planned for this run.
Nutrition remained deliberately straightforward, using Samurai Coco A & B together with Cal-Mag, Silicon, Katana Roots and Zenzym. Feed strength was increased slightly in line with the plants' demand while maintaining a stable pH of around 5.8. The plants responded extremely well, showing healthy green foliage with no signs of deficiencies, nutrient burn or overfeeding.
This week was focused on allowing the plants to build strength naturally before any high-stress training. Rather than rushing to top or heavily manipulate the canopy, I wanted each plant to develop a strong root system and sturdy branch structure capable of supporting future training and heavy flowering.
By the end of the week, all four plants were uniform, healthy and growing vigorously. Stem thickness had improved significantly, giving confidence that the plants would respond well to topping and low-stress training in the coming weeks.
Objectives for Week 4
Begin topping once each plant reaches the appropriate node count.
Start low-stress training to create an even, flat canopy.
Continue increasing root mass before transplanting into the final AutoPot system.
Maintain a stable environment and monitor plant response before increasing feed further.

Lambrettats1 Week 4 – Training Begins
By the fourth week of vegetation, the Mendo Breath plants had developed into strong, healthy bushes with excellent colour and noticeably thicker stems than I have achieved on previous runs. The extended vegetative period was already beginning to show its benefits, with each plant producing multiple strong side branches ready for training.
This week marked the beginning of low-stress training. The primary goal was to spread each plant horizontally, encouraging light to reach every future flowering site rather than allowing a single dominant main cola to develop. By opening the canopy early, I hoped to create an even screen capable of making full use of the flower tent.
Nutrition continued using the Samurai Coco range, with feed strength increased gradually as plant demand increased. The plants responded exceptionally well, maintaining deep green foliage and vigorous growth without showing signs of nutrient stress. The root systems were now well established, allowing the plants to recover quickly from the initial training.
Rather than making dramatic changes all at once, I preferred to train gradually over several days, making small adjustments and allowing the plants time to respond. This approach reduced stress while producing a much more even plant structure.
By the end of Week 4, all four plants were growing vigorously with multiple strong branches developing across the canopy. The framework for the remainder of the vegetative period was now firmly in place.
Objectives for Week 5
Continue spreading the canopy using LST.
Encourage secondary branches to catch the main stems.

Lambrettats1 Week 5 – Building the Canopy
The Mendo Breath plants continued to exceed expectations throughout Week 5. The extended vegetative period was now paying dividends, with every plant producing strong secondary branching and noticeably thicker stems. Recovery from the previous week's training was rapid, confirming that the root systems were well established and capable of supporting more aggressive canopy management.
Low Stress Training continued throughout the week, gradually repositioning branches to create an even canopy. Rather than making large adjustments in a single session, the branches were guided into position over several days, allowing the plants to recover naturally while encouraging multiple tops to develop at a uniform height.
Objectives for Week 6
Continue filling the available canopy space.
Maintain an even plant height across all four plants.
Nutrition continued using the Samurai Coco range, with feed strength increased gradually as plant demand increased. Environmental conditions remained stable throughout the week and the plants showed no signs of nutrient deficiencies, toxicity or environmental stress.
By the end of Week 5, the framework of each plant was becoming clearly defined. The objective was no longer simply growing larger plants, but creating a flat, evenly distributed canopy capable of producing a high number of quality flowering sites once transferred to the flowering tent.
The plants remained extremely healthy with deep green foliage and excellent vigour. Internodal spacing stayed tight under the PAR+ 465 PRO LED, producing compact growth without excessive stretching. Airflow through the canopy remained good, while increasing light penetration encouraged lower branches to develop into strong future flowering sites.

Lambrettats1 Week 6 – Building the Framework
The Mendo Breath plants continued to thrive throughout Week 6, showing strong, vigorous growth across all four plants. By now the extended vegetative period was clearly paying off, with every plant developing a solid branch structure and noticeably thicker stems than I have achieved in previous grows.
The focus this week remained on gradually shaping the plants using low stress training. Branches were gently repositioned where required to encourage an even canopy and maximise light penetration. Rather than making large adjustments in one session, small corrections were made throughout the week, allowing the plants to recover quickly while continuing to grow without interruption.
Nutrition remained consistent using the Samurai Coco range, together with Cal-Mag, Silicon, Katana Roots and Zenzym. Feed strength was increased gradually in line with plant demand while maintaining a stable pH around 5.8. The plants continued to show excellent colour, healthy leaf development and no signs of nutrient stress.
One of the most encouraging observations this week was the continued increase in branch thickness. The stems were becoming considerably stronger than those from my previous grow, giving confidence they would be capable of supporting heavier flowers later in the cycle.
By the end of Week 6, all four plants had developed into healthy, well-structured bushes with multiple strong growing points and were well on their way to producing the even canopy I was aiming for.
Objectives for Week 7
Continue low stress training.
Install the training clips to improve branch positioning.
Continue developing an even canopy before introducing the SCROG net later in the grow.
Maintain healthy, vigorous growth while preparing for the final weeks of vegetation.

Lambrettats1 Week 7 – Shaping the Future Canopy
Week 7 was a significant milestone in the vegetative stage, as I began using plant training clips to further open the canopy and improve the overall structure of each Mendo Breath plant. The aim was simple: encourage every main branch to receive equal light and create as many productive flowering sites as possible before the transition to flower.
Rather than forcing the plants into position, the clips were used to gently alter branch angles, allowing the canopy to spread naturally while maintaining healthy, unrestricted growth. This method proved very effective, exposing lower growth to increased light and encouraging secondary branches to develop into strong future colas.
The extended vegetative period was continuing to show its benefits. Stem thickness had increased dramatically compared with previous grows, and the plants were now carrying a large number of healthy branches capable of supporting heavy flowers later in the cycle. Recovery from each training adjustment was rapid, confirming that the root systems were now fully established and highly vigorous.
Nutrition remained consistent using the Samurai Coco range together with Cal-Mag, Silicon, Katana Roots and Zenzym. Feed strength continued to increase gradually in line with plant demand while maintaining a stable pH around 5.8. Throughout the week the plants remained deep green, healthy and free from nutrient deficiencies or toxicity.
By the end of Week 7, the canopy was becoming increasingly even, with every training session bringing the plants closer to the flat, productive structure I wanted before moving into the flowering tent. Patience during the extended vegetative period was now clearly beginning to pay off.
Objectives for Week 8
Continue refining the canopy with gentle training.
Encourage every main branch to develop at a similar height.
Build branch strength ahead of the final weeks of vegetation.
Continue preparing the plants for the eventual installation of the SCROG net after the move into flower.

Lambrettats1 Week 8 – Strength Before Speed
By Week 8, the benefits of the extended vegetative period were becoming increasingly obvious. All four Mendo Breath plants were growing vigorously, producing thick stems, strong lateral branching and a well-balanced structure. The time invested in training and canopy management was beginning to create the even plant shape I had been working towards since the early weeks of growth.
The training clips continued to play an important role in opening the plants up, allowing more light to reach developing shoots throughout the canopy. Rather than constantly making large adjustments, only small changes were made as required, allowing the plants to respond naturally while maintaining steady growth.
Nutrition remained consistent using Samurai Coco A & B, Cal-Mag, Silicon, Katana Roots and Zenzym. Feed strength continued to increase gradually in response to the plants' growing demand, while pH was maintained around 5.8. The foliage remained a healthy green with no visible signs of nutrient deficiencies, toxicity or environmental stress.
One of the most noticeable improvements compared with previous grows was the strength of the branches. The plants were developing far sturdier stems than I had achieved before, giving confidence that they would be capable of supporting heavy flowers later in the grow.
By the end of the week, the canopy was becoming increasingly uniform and every plant was carrying a large number of healthy growing tips. The extended vegetative period continued to prove worthwhile, with the overall structure improving week by week.
Objectives for Week 9
Allow the plants to fully establish in the larger flower tent.
Continue hand watering while encouraging the roots to reach the base of the 15 L AutoPots.
Continue gently shaping the canopy in preparation for the SCROG net.
Maintain an even canopy and stable environmental conditions before activating the AutoPot system.

Lambrettats1 Week 9 – AutoPots Activated
After allowing the roots time to establish throughout the final containers, this week marked the point where the AutoPot irrigation system was switched on. The additional week of top watering before activating the system ensured the roots had fully colonised the pots and reached the base, allowing the plants to make the most of bottom feeding from the outset.
The plants adapted to the AutoPot system without issue, continuing to produce vigorous growth and maintaining excellent colour throughout the week. The canopy remained even thanks to the ongoing low stress training, while branch thickness continued to improve as the plants prepared for the transition into flower.
With the root systems now fully established, Katana Roots was removed from the feeding programme. From this point onwards, the nutrient regime was simplified to Samurai Coco A & B, Cal-Mag, Silicon and Zenzym. Feed strength remained stable, with EC maintained around 1.8–2.0 and pH close to 5.8, allowing the plants to continue growing strongly without signs of deficiency or excess.
By the end of the week the plants had fully settled into both their final environment and the AutoPot system. They were healthy, vigorous and carrying a large number of evenly distributed tops. With the foundation now complete, everything was in place for the flip to 12/12 the following week.
Objectives for Flower Week 1
Transition to a 12/12 photoperiod.
Monitor the beginning of the stretch.
Continue shaping the canopy before installing the SCROG net.
Maintain stable environmental conditions during the transition to flower.

Lambrettats1 Flower Week 1 – The Stretch Begins
After ten weeks of vegetative growth and two weeks establishing in the flower tent, it was finally time to switch the Mendo Breath plants to a 12/12 photoperiod.
The extended vegetative period had achieved exactly what I had hoped for. All four plants had developed exceptionally thick stems, a healthy root system and a large number of well-spaced tops. Compared to my previous grow, the overall structure was noticeably stronger, giving me confidence that the plants would comfortably support heavy flowers later in the cycle.
During the first week of flower, the SCROG net was installed. Unlike the training clips used throughout late vegetation, the purpose of the net was to maintain an even canopy as the plants entered their stretch. Each branch was carefully guided into its own space within the screen, ensuring maximum light distribution across the entire canopy and encouraging every top to receive equal exposure.
The AutoPot system continued to perform flawlessly, with the plants responding well to bottom feeding. The nutrient programme remained deliberately simple, using Samurai Coco A & B, Cal-Mag, Silicon and Zenzym. Root stimulants were no longer required, allowing the focus to shift entirely towards supporting vigorous early flower development.
By the end of the week, the plants had begun stretching exactly as expected. The canopy remained even, branch strength continued to impress, and there were already significantly more quality flowering sites than I had achieved on my previous run. At this stage, the grow was progressing exactly according to plan.
Environment
Lighting: Zeus 600 LED
Photoperiod: 12/12
Training: SCROG net installed and branches woven into position.
Objectives for Flower Week 2
Continue tucking branches through the SCROG to maintain an even canopy.
Allow the stretch to continue naturally.
Monitor reservoir consumption, EC and pH.
Prepare for the Day 21 defoliation and lollipopping.

Lambrettats1 Week 2 Flower
The second week of flower has gone exactly as I hoped. After a long 10-week vegetative period, the plants have begun stretching strongly and the benefit of the extended veg is already becoming obvious. Compared to my previous run there are significantly more strong flowering sites, with much thicker branches capable of supporting heavier buds later in the grow.
The canopy continues to fill the SCROG evenly. Rather than carrying out a heavy defoliation, I only removed a small number of large interior fan leaves that were blocking light and restricting airflow. My plan is to carry out the main clean-up and lollipopping on Day 21 once the stretch has finished, leaving every branch that has successfully reached the screen.
The nutrient solution remains stable with an EC of approximately 1.8-2.0 and the pH was adjusted from 6.2 back to 6.0. Reservoir temperature is holding at around 18.9°C, while the canopy environment is averaging approximately 25.5°C with 61% RH. Water uptake has increased steadily, showing the plants are becoming noticeably more thirsty as flowering progresses.
To maintain good light intensity without stressing the plants, I raised the LED as high as possible and increased the output to 75%. I'll continue monitoring the canopy over the coming week and adjust only if necessary.
Overall I'm extremely pleased with how this run is progressing. The plants are healthy, dark green with no signs of nutrient burn or deficiencies, and the structure created during the long vegetative period is exactly what I was aiming for. If everything continues like this, the Day 21 defoliation should leave a very even canopy with an excellent number of quality bud sites ready for the bulking phase.

Lambrettats1 Well, Unfortunately a you can see, one of my "GIRLS" was not as it would seem. A full blown MALE. Luckily i managed to catch it before any of the pollen sacs were mature enoiugh to release any pollen. Not Great. Though i will say this my last 3 grows including this have been from Barneys and this is the first male.

Lambrettats1 ## 🌱 FLOWER — WEEK 3/Last input was just showing that male
Week 3 of flower and we're now running with **three Mendo Breath females**.
After the earlier loss of the male, the main aim this week has been making the best possible use of the extra space in the SCROG. The remaining three plants have been spread progressively further across the net, and they've done a surprisingly good job of reclaiming some of the empty canopy.
The plants are considerably shorter than I'm normally working with at this stage, but there are still a lot of good flowering sites. Rather than worrying about the number of plants or trying to fill every square of the net, I've concentrated on getting the strongest sites exposed and reasonably evenly distributed.
Light is currently running at **75%**. PPFD measurements across the canopy showed quite a bit of variation depending on the height of individual tops, so I've continued using branch positioning to improve the spread rather than simply increasing the light.
The plants have continued feeding well through the AutoPot system. EC has generally been around the **1.6–1.8 range**, with pH requiring only small corrections. Both my pH meter and Bluelab Truncheon were calibrated during the week so I know the readings I'm recording are reliable.
Reservoir temperature has been held around **18–19°C using the chiller**.
Towards the end of the week I carried out the first proper cleanup underneath the canopy.
This was quite different from how I've normally lollipopped plants. These MBs are much shorter, so my usual method of stripping roughly the bottom 12 inches would have been far too aggressive. Instead I worked according to the actual structure of each plant, removing shaded lower growth and foliage while keeping anything that looked capable of contributing.
I deliberately stopped before taking too much. There was still plenty of healthy foliage remaining above the net and the underneath was considerably more open, with much better visibility and airflow through the main branches.
Afterwards I left the plants alone to recover rather than continuing to remove growth simply for the sake of making the underneath look completely bare.
The environment has remained fairly steady, with canopy temperatures generally in the **mid-20s°C** and RH mostly around the **mid-50s to low-60s**.
Despite being down to three plants, I'm still very happy with the number of viable flowering sites across the canopy. If anything, having more space has allowed me to expose sites on the remaining females that might otherwise have been buried.
