Bunterbiber Hi all!
This project is a special collaboration between Canna Community Germany and Good Genetix. A huge thank you to Sebastian and the Good Genetix team for providing the seeds, and big thanks to the Canna Community Germany team (especially Simon) for organizing everything and making this run possible!
I’m incredibly excited to get this strain going—Super Boof Cherry FF by Good Genetix. I can’t wait to see how she performs and I'm especially eager to experience her terpene profile firsthand.
This Fast Flowering strain brings together outstanding genetics known for high resin production, dense bud structure, and vibrant dark/purple coloration towards harvest. Expect a rapid flowering cycle paired with a rich, delicious aroma profile full of sweet cherry notes, fruity undertones, and a subtle earthy finish. As for her effects, she brings a fantastic balance—delivering a clear head high alongside a deeply relaxing body feel.
I put the seed into osmotic water for about 18h and then in cotton pad for less then 24h. After that it went into seed-starting soil and will be put under a 20W LED.
For nutrients on this run, I’ll be using Biotabs NL to keep things clean and organic. For now I stick to the Biotabs feeding plan.
I intend to use manifolding as training technique....let's see how we will handle it ;-)
Really looking forward to sharing this journey with you all—stay tuned for the upcoming weekly updates!

Bunterbiber Week 1 is in the books, and everything is running right according to plan!
The little lady is currently settled in a 0.5L pot. Right at the start, she stretched just a tiny bit—likely due to a bit too much heat on the top leaves—but she quickly caught her balance and is looking fantastic for her age now.
Thanks to the transparent pot, I can already see some solid root development coming along nicely, which is super encouraging to see. She’s building a great foundation, and if all goes well, she’ll be ready for an upgrade to a larger pot in about a week.
Off to a great start!

Bunterbiber During the week she was transplanted into her final 30L pot after the roots started spiraling at the bottom of the 0.5L container.
The substrate (80% Light-Mix soil & 20% perlite) was prepared following BioTabs guidelines. To fine-tune the mix, I added 1 g/L of Dolomite Lime to help stabilize pH and provide Calcium and Magnesium, plus 1 g/L of Primary Rock Dust / Basalt Dust (still need to grab some BioTabs Silicium Flash!).
For watering, I'm using a 50/50 mix of tap water and RO water (Tap specs: pH 8.5, Ca: 51 mg/L, Mg: 9 mg/L). Given the size of the new pot, I’ll be taking extra care to water lightly and sparingly for now.
The transplant went smoothly without a hitch. Now I’m letting her settle in and recover before we dive into some High-Stress Training (HST). Overall, she’s looking super healthy and growing nicely!

Bunterbiber Week 3 was a bit of a rough ride for the little lady. The transplant didn’t go as smoothly as hoped, and she’s showing some noticeable nutrient burns on the older leaves.
When I prepared the substrate with Startrex about 1.5 to 2 weeks prior to potting up, I watered it in to get things ready. My guess is that activating the soil biology so early resulted in a strong burst of available nutrients right out of the gate, leading to the burns once she moved in.
On top of that, I went ahead and kicked off HST (manifolding)—fully aware that this adds extra stress to an already struggling plant. Fingers crossed she pushes through and recovers quickly!

Bunterbiber Cherry, Cherry Lady is back!
She has turned things completely around and recovered fantastically, with all new growth coming in completely fresh and free of nutrient burn. Next time, I will definitely push the application of Orgatrex back further in time—waiting until at least Week 3 or 4 to avoid any initial over-fertilization.
I was also able to kick off the first LST training session. During training, I noticed a slight tear close to the base of one main branch where it joins the stem. The area has already swollen up and hardened off nicely to heal itself. That specific branch is lagging just a tiny bit behind its counterpart, but the difference is minimal so far.
As a preventative measure, I gave her a light spray with Neem oil, and I’ve also added a sundew (Drosera) to the tent to keep an eye on any stray pests. We'll see how everything develops!

Compared to my Miley, which is also a Super Boof Cherry, yours feels like it's already 1-1.5 weeks further into its 2nd week... crazy... looks really good...👍🏻
well well well, hi Bunterbiber-just to metnion less is more in growing weed- and fedding schedules are recommendations- the early application of oragtrex in combination with the light gave her a damage- but nothing that is not reverseable
@Mia_BIOTABS, Yeah, I underestimated Orgatrex, and combined with the pre-activated soil life from the early watering, it probably amplified that effect even more. Won't happen to me again.
