Thirsty_Grower On June 14, 2026, I placed two sorts (Special Queen 1 Auto and Northern Light Auto (see my another dairy)) into a paper towel at the same time; however, unlike Northern Light Auto - which sprouted the very next day (June 15), Special Queen 1 Auto took a full three days to show signs of sprouting

Thirsty_Grower Week 3 - Despite the fact that from the 4th week onwards the plant was grown using only natural light (on the windowsill), initially I supplemented it with an artificial grow lamp (300-400 PPFD) placed next to the Northern Light Auto, because direct sunlight with a PPFD of 900–1000 was too intense for such a young plant.

Thirsty_Grower Week 7 - first watering with nitruents. 29.07.26 - First watering with nutrients: 1.5 g of Hybrids added to 5 L of water (Total EC = 930 µS/cm), with runoff. 03.08.26 - Watering with plain tap water. Small spots have also appeared on the leaves, resembling a CalMag deficiency. This time, before starting the grow, I mixed approximately 3 tablespoons of dolomite lime into the soil, but apparently, it wasn’t enough. Do you think it’s time to start adding Biobizz CalMag?

Looks a bit over watered and N heavy..use the calmag.epsoncsalta would be better in my opinion looks light on magnesium. Dolomite lime will take a long time to digest some humic acid would speed it up or some lactic acid. Is the soil getting dry enough between watering?. To many variants but magnesium and microbes will bring her round.some seaweed fert to if you have some about.

Thirsty_Grower We moved it outside! There still wasn’t enough sunlight on the windowsill, so I moved the plant to my garden. 09.08 - 5g CalMag with 5L water. Runoff: pH5,8, EC 1250 14.08 - 2,5g Hybrids with 5L water (pH6,7, EC 1200 - the pH and EC of the solution, not runoff!).

Thirsty_Grower I’ve noticed some amber-colored trichomes. It could be due to light stress: "Excessive heat or intense light can cause cannabis trichomes to turn amber prematurely, signaling the degradation of THC into CBN long before the actual flower is ripe". So there may still be some time before harvest for the buds to swell a little more.

I’ve noticed some amber-colored trichomes. But could this be due to light stress from being outdoors? Do I still have time to give it one more watering with a good dose of PK (1–1.25 ml/L?) + Hybrids (? g/L?), followed by one-two final flushes before harvest? See week 11 and 12..

Hi 🙋‍♂️, It depends on your personal preferences. I personally would have already harvested. Lots of amber trichomes = couchlock... I'm not a fan of that. Good luck, I'm excited to see the final result 👊👌🍀

Get yourself a jewelers loop (30x, 60x) I don't want to judge based off of pictures. All cloudy and you get energy head high, the more amber the more couch lock buzz. I try for 10% amber. The amber color comes from degradation. I have properly cured and stored buds that were harvested cloudy a year ago now just about completely amber. Look at my diary "favorite skywalker OG" and harvest pics. The bud in my hand is from the year before harvest. If not stored properly that will happen faster, there's no preventing it from happening. A final flush should be halfway through harvest and no feeding for last couple weeks. Its hard to time it out until you have some grows under your belt. My grows are usually between 8-12 weeks flower time depending on the strain. I grow the same ones every time so I know when to stop feeding. It won't ruin your harvest if this is not done. I personally don't tell a difference in the smoke that didn't get just plain water at the end but you also want to try and have dry soil come harvest so she isn't full of water, again not a must but you'll have to pay closer attention during the dry time.

The answer you got in week 7 might be not completly wrong, but the spots on the leafes look more like a start of a thripse (or similar leafsucker) population. That does not look like a calcium deficiency to me. The black dots beside the spots is what they leave after dinner. If you have a microscope to check your trichomes, you can take a leafe with spots and check for yellow/green "worms" on the leafes (sometimes under the leaves).
