Anna_J I'm finally back with a couple of new diaries to share! It's been a little while since my last grow but I'm excited to start this next one and i'm looking forward to re-connecting with you all here again. 😊 I've only just picked out my seed strains and have gotten my tent all set back up, cleaned and everything tested. For this current run, I'm growing two strains: 🌸Tropicana Cookies FF and 🌸Orange Sherbet FF (check out my other diary for this strain) I will be germinating two seeds from each strain but i'll only end up keeping two or three of the plants in total, so as not to overcrowd my 2x4 tent. 🌱Germination Day 1🌱: - I selected two out of the five seeds in the package. - I soaked the seeds in a glass of distilled water for 8 hours. I would normally put the glass on a heat mat but i figured that the warm summer temperatures were good enough. - After 8 hours i transferred the seeds to some damp paper towel, which was placed loosely inside a plastic sandwich bag (unsealed) and the bag placed within a small glass container without a lid, which was then set on a heat mat within the tent. The heat mat was set to 32C / 89.5F. 🌱Germination Day 2🌱: - no changes 🌱Germination Day 3🌱: - I was able to convince myself to not be checking on the seeds every hour. LOL - Both seeds have 'popped'! - I mixed up a pretty basic soil consisting of: 80% Pro-Mix Organic Vegetable and Herb potting soil 15% Perlite 5% Canna Coco Professional Plus coir This was added to two plastic 6" containers. The seeds were planted roughly 1" deep and watered with a small amount of distilled water. The pots were placed in my 2x4 grow tent, along with my two "Orange Sherbet" pots, where I have only my Sunblaster 48W LED strip light turned on. - Sunblaster 48W LED mounting height: 48" - I placed clear plastic cups on top of the soil, to act as humidity domes since the humidity in the tent was roughly only 54%. - Temperature: 81F - I set my AC Infinity Cloudline T6 exhaust fan to turn on to it's lowest setting when the temperature inside the tent reaches 84F. 🌱Germination Day 4🌱: - No changes 🌱Germination Day 5🌱: - It's official, I woke up this morning to both seedlings having finally broken through the soil! 😃 - One is slightly taller than the other but both are looking healthy. I know some people count the germination date as the day when the small radicle root pops from the seed but for me, i've always counted it as the day when the seedling first pops through the soil. Check back soon for more updates! 😊

Anna_J 🌱Week 1!🌱 Day 1: For week 1, I have both my Sunblaster 48W LED strip light and my HLG Elite 360 fixture, which contains two QB96 Elite V2 LED boards, mounted at 48". The HLG fixture is set to it's absolute lowest setting. ☀️ - Light schedule: 18/6 ☀️ - Total LUX: 7,900 ☀️ - Total PPFD: 120 - I removed the humidity domes and turned on the humidifer, which will run on low setting whenever the lights are on. - My circulation fan is mounted at about 40" and is set to 20% intensity and is always on. This provides just a very gentle breeze around the seedlings. - My exhaust fan is set to turn on to 20% intensity whenever the temperature reaches 83F or the humidity reaches 84%. - Air intake switches between fresh outside air and room air, depending on the temperatures of each. - Temp: 78F (lights off); 83F (lights on) - RH: 75% (lights off); 84% (lights on) - VPD: 0.68 - 0.82kPa (aiming to be between 0.5 - 0.8) Day 2: - Temp: 77F (lights off); 81F (lights on) - RH: 60% (lights off); 80% (lights on) Day 3: - Temp: 76F (lights off); 79F (lights on) - RH: 60% (lights off); 82% (lights on) 💧- Watered each plant with approximately 50ml of distilled water - Increased circulation fan speed from 20% to 40%. The seedlings are now just barely moving in the breeze, which will hopefully encourage strong stem growth. Day 4: - Temp: 77F (lights off); 81F (lights on) - RH: 60% (lights off); 75% (lights on) - Lowered my Sunblaster 48W 6400K LED strip light by 2-3" to increase light intensity ☀️- Total LUX: 8,600-8,800 ☀️- Total PPFD: 131-133 Day 5: - Temp: 76F (lights off); 81F (lights on) - RH: 61% (lights off); 80% (lights on) 💧- Bottom watered each plant with roughly 150ml of distilled water Day 6: - Increased the circulation fan speed from 40% to 60%, causing a bit more movement of the seedlings. Day 7: - Temp: 76F (lights off); 81F (lights on) - RH: 58% (lights off); 81% (lights on) - Watered each plant with approximately 80-100ml of distilled water More to come... 💚

Anna_J 🌱Week 2!🌱 This is going to be a bit of a shorter update this week. I'm planning on increasing the light intensity throughout the week. Day 8: - Increased the light intensity of my HLG Elite 360 fixture slightly. ☀️- LUX: 9,700 - 9,800 ☀️- PPFD: 146 - 148 - Temp: 74F (lights off); 81F (lights on) - RH: 60% (lights off); 81% (lights on) Day 9: - No changes Day 10: - Increased the light intensity of my HLG Elite 360 fixture again slightly. ☀️- LUX: 9,900 - 10,000 ☀️- PPFD: 149 - 151 - Adjusted my exhaust fan settings to turn on whenever the temperature reaches 82F or the RH reaches 80%. - Temp: 73F (lights off); 81% (lights on) - RH: 62% (lights off); 79% (lights on) Day 11: - No changes Day 12: - Lowered both my my HLG Elite 360 fixture and Sunblaster 48W 6400K strip light to 36" above canopy, increasing the light intensity ☀️- LUX: 11,900 ☀️- PPFD: 178 💧- Watered each plant with approximately 100ml of distilled water - Temp: 74F (lights off); 80-82F (lights on) - RH: 61% (lights off); 73-79% (lights on) - Had to run my portable air conditioner during the hottest part of the day, for about 6 hours to help keep temperatures under 82F inside the tent. Day 13: - No changes - Had to run the air conditioner again during the hottest part of the day, for about 7 hours. Day 14: - Adjusted my exhaust fan settings to turn on when humidity reaches 78%, instead of 80%. - Air conditioner run for most of the day, about 10 hours

Anna_J 🌱Week 3!🌱 This week i'll be continuing to increase the light intensity and will be making some small adjustments to my humidity levels, aiming to lower the humidity slightly and aiming for a VPD range between 0.8 to 1.1 kPa. Basically i'm aiming for mid-70's RH and temperatures of around 79-81F. I'll also be starting to feed with a low dose of Remo Nutrients this week. Day 15: - Lowered both my HLG Elite 360 fixture and my Sunblaster 48W 6400K LED strip light a couple of inches, to approximately 34" above canopy. I also increased the intensity of the HLG fixture slightly, to approximately 20%. ☀️- LUX: 12,900 - 13,500 ☀️- PPFD: 193 - 203 - Adjusted exhaust fan to turn on to 30% speed when the humidity reaches 77%. - Temp: 73F (lights off); 81F (lights on) - RH: 64% (lights off); 70% (lights on) Day 16: - Another increase to the lighting intensity of my HLG Elite 360 fixture ☀️- LUX: 15,300 ☀️- PPFD: 225 💧- Watered each plant with approximately 200-250ml of dechlorinated water with 0.5ml per gallon of Remo Nutrients' "Micro", "Grow", "MagNifiCal" and "Velokelp". This resulted in a nutrient solution of 136ppm which I pH adjusted to 6.36. Solution temperature was roughly 23.5C / 74.5F. Day 17: - The weather outside has been quite warm, so i've had to turn on my portable air conditioner in the afternoon. I just run the air conditioner in the room that the tent is in and passively intake the cooler room air whenever the exhaust fan turns on. - Temp: 73F (lights off); 80F (lights on) - RH: 66% (lights off); 73% (lights on) Day 18: - Today was another warm day so I ran the air conditioner for 6 hours in the afternoon. - Increased intensity of my HLG Elite 360 fixture. ☀️- Total LUX: 19,100 ☀️- Total PPFD: 284 - Temp: 74F (lights off); 81F (lights on) - RH: 64% (lights off); 70% (lights on) Day 19: - I'm noticing a slight magnesium deficiency, more so on the taller plant on the right. It's mild but i'm going to keep an eye on it. - Cooler day today, so no need for the portable air conditioner Day 20: - No changes Day 21: - I decided to do a foliar feeding of the plant showing the magnesium deficiency. I used about 1 tsp of plain Epsom Salt to about 1 gallon of water, which resulted in a mixture measuring 604ppm, which is a bit stronger than i was aiming for but i went ahead and adjusted the pH to 6.15 and did a light misting on the plant. I removed the plant from the tent for this and put it in my bathtub. I would have normally applied the spray right before lights-off but that's going to conflict with my personal schedule so i just left the plant in the tub for a couple of hours, with the bathroom light left on. - The plants could probably use a watering but i will wait one more day. More to come! 💚

Anna_J 🌱Week 4!🌱 This week i'll be topping the plants and continuing to increase the light level. Surprisingly, one of the plants naturally 'topped' itself at the 3rd node and is growing two stems. The other will be getting topped as well. I was also gifted some "BudClips" and i'll start using those soon to see how they work. The magnesium deficiency is looking a little bit better after last week's epsom salt foliar feed. Day 22: - Increased light intensity of HLG Elite 360 fixture ☀️- Total LUX: 18,400-19,500 ☀️- Total PPFD: 283-285 💧- Watered with a 411ppm solution of dechlorinated water mixed with 2ml/gallon of Remo Nutrients’ “Micro”, “Grow” and “VeloKelp” and 1ml/gallon of “MagNifiCal” and Epsom Salt (Magnesium Sulfate), pH adjusted to 6.19 💧- Runoff = 1830ppm, 6.97pH 💧I'm surprised and concerned with my runoff levels. 1830ppm is too high for my comfort and i'm concerned about potential nutrient lock-out issues. I considered flushing with plain water today but decided to wait until the next watering, mainly because i didn't have any more dechlorinated water prepared. - Topped the tall plant and removed the side branches. - Adjusted the settings of my AC Infinity Cloudline T6 exhaust fan, to turn on when the humidity level reaches 73%, instead of 75%. It also still turns on whenever the temperature reaches 82F. - Temp: 73F (lights off); 81F (lights on) - RH: 60% (lights off); 66% (lights on) Day 23: - I'm trying to keep the humidity slightly lower than normal so that the pots can dry up a bit quicker. I need to do a good flush as soon as possible to hopefully get my runoff levels under control and prevent any further nutrient lockout issues. - Temp: 71F (lights off); 81F (lights on) - RH: 62% (lights off); 65% (lights on) Day 24: - Added a 2nd budclip to the shorter of the two plants - Temp: 72F (lights off); 81F (lights on) - RH: 62% (lights off); 66% (lights on) Day 25: - Today i flushed both plants each with about 1 gallon of dechlorinated tap water, pH adjusted to 6.3. The pots were still wetter than i would have preferred but i didn't want to wait any longer on the flush, as i could see Cal-mag issues starting to worsen in the leaves. - To flush, i added water to each pot, about 200ml at a time, then waiting 5 minutes for saturation, then another 200ml... until i'd passed about a gallon of water through each pot. - I put the pots on wire racks, for better drainage and increased airflow around the bottom of the pots. - My runoff PPM's came down quite a bit, where the first 200ml of runoff was testing at the same 1800ppm but when i discarded all the runoff and then collected the last 200ml, it had dropped to approximately 850ppm. - Unfortunately, my pH is still higher than i'd like, at about 6.8. Day 26: - No changes - Temp: 70F (lights off); 81F (lights on) - RH: 64% (lights off); 73% (lights on) Day 27: - The plants look a little better better after the flush, although the signs of Calcium & Magnesium deficiency are still coming out in the lower leaves. - Temp: 73F (lights off); 81F (lights on) - RH: 65% (lights off); 70% (lights on) - I added 2 Budclips to the taller of the two plants. Day 28: - I did a slurry test of some of the leftover Promix Organic Herb & Vegetable mix that i had. I mixed some with a little bit of distilled water and the tested the pH, which was quite high, at about 7.3. I was intending to repot the plants into 5 gallon fabric pots around week 6 but i think i'm going to do that next week instead. I'll probably switch back to Promix HP, since I think it has a slightly lower natural pH due to be treated with a bit less lime than the Organic Herb & Vegetable Mix. - Today i did a little bit of leaf tucking to help keep the branching sites exposed.

Anna_J 🌱Week 5🌱 This week i'm hoping to continue the correction of the high pH and PPM levels of my runoff. The flush i did last week has been helpful and hopefully this week's transplant will continue to help the plants improve. I'm aiming to increase the light intensity some more this week and I'll be aiming for a VPD range somewhere between 0.9-1.2 kPa. The nights are getting a bit cooler outside and i may have to consider switching my light cycle so that i'm running the lights throughout the whole night, otherwise i'll have to make some adjustments to my fresh-air intake to limit too much of a temperature swing between 'lights-on' and 'lights-off'. Day 29: - I transplanted both plants into 5 gallon fabric pots. - For medium, i switched from "Promix Organic Herb and Vegetable" to Promix "HP". I'm hoping this medium will have a slightly lower natural pH, since it's apparently treated with less lime and buffering agents than the "Organic Herb and Vegetable" mix. 💧- I watered both plants with plain, dechlorinated tap water. pH was adjusted to 5.95. Each plant received approximately 0.5 gallons of water. ☀️- Increased light intensity of HLG Elite 360. ☀️- LUX: approx. 25,000 ☀️- PPFD: approx 375 - Temp: 70F (lights off); 81F (lights on) - RH: 68% (lights off); 72% (lights on) - VPD: 1.01 kPa - Light defoliation and some minor LST, adjusting bud clips. Day 30: - no major changes - minor leaf tucking Day 31: ☀️- Today i switched the light cycle so that the lights are off between 12pm-6pm, instead of 12am-6am. This was mainly because the night air is getting cooler and was causing the temperature inside the tent to drop a bit lower, causing the humidity to be a bit higher than i'd like. I'm trying my best not to use the portable air conditioner if i don't have to yet, as i know i'll be using it lots more once flowering gets underway. - As a result of switching the light cycle around, the plants ended up receiving around 30hrs of light. Day 32: - The deficiencies are still showing in the leaves. 💧- Watered each plant with about 1 gallon of dechlorinated water, mixed with about 2ml/gallon of Remo Nutrients' "Micro" and Grow" and about 1ml/gallon of "MagNifiCal" and "VeloKelp", resulting in a 355ppm solution that i pH adjusted to 6.2. Day 33: - I removed all the "BudClips" from the plants and replaced them with traditional tie-down's. I don't see myself using BudClips much aside from maybe just during the first few weeks. A nice idea and a fun little gift to have received but i think i'll stick with traditional tie-down wires. - I topped one of the plants for the 2nd time and removed a couple of side branches. I'm aiming for 8 main tops on each of these plants. - I raised the HLG Elite 360 light fixture by just an inch or so and increased the intensity slightly in order to maintain the 25,000-26,000 LUX levels across the canopy. - Temp: 73F (lights off); 80F (lights on) - RH: 70% (lights off); 72% (lights on) Day 34: - Today i switched the air intake of the tent during 'lights off' from the fresh outside air to the room that the tent is in. I ran the dehumidify mode on my portable AC to see if it would help bring the humidity level down in the tent. I can say thar the AC unit doesn't do much over the course of six hours. The RH of the tent dropped by maybe 1%, sitting around 70%. The AC unit did heat the room and the tent up though, so the increase in temperature helped improve the VPD. - Temp: 76F (lights off); 81F (lights on) - RH: 70% (lights off); 70% (lights on) - VPD: 0.92 kPa (lights off); 1.01 kPa (lights on) - I gave both plants a foliar feed, consisting of distilled water mixed a tiny bit of epsom salt, producing a 175ppm solution. pH adjusted to 6.25. I applied the fine mist spray and turned off my main HLG Elite 360 light and left the plants under just the 48W Sunblaster strip light for about an hour, after the water droplets were gone. Then I turned the HLG fixture back on, resuming the 25,000-26,000 LUX light levels. Day 35: - no changes - Minor leaf tucking on all plants

Anna_J 🌱Week 6🌱 I'm a bit late posting this week's update. Things have been recovering nicely since the nutrient lockout issues back in Week 4. The two Tropicana plants are quite different from one another. One is tall, with long internodal space... the other has much shorter internodal space and is a bit of an oddity with the way it's been growing four leaves at each node, although it's only been happening on the two main 'trunks'. The side branches seem to be a bit more "normal" but i'm considering removing this plant from the tent. This would give me only the taller of the Tropicana Cookies plants but i do also have the two Orange Sherbet plants in the tent. I know i could probably fit four plants in the tent without too much issue but I can't help but think that the odd plant may not flower in a very productive way. I think i'll keep it in the tent for now but may remove it if i want to give the other three plants a little more space. Day 36: - LST on both plants, adjusting tie-down's. - Temp: 72F (lights off); 80F (lights on) - RH: 71% (lights off); 70% (lights on) Day 37: - No major changes Day 38: ☀️- Increased the light intensity of my HLG Elite 360 fixture. ☀️- LUX: 30,000 ☀️- PPFD: 450 💧- Watered with 3ml/gallon of Remo Nutrients' "Micro", "Grow" and "MagNifiCal" and 2ml/gallon of Velokelp, resulting in a 575ppm solution, pH adjusted to 6.17. 💧- Unfortunately, i only made around 3.5 gallons of nutrient water, which wasn't quite enough to water until runoff. I typically leave my water out for at least 24 hours to dechlorinate so i'll have to wait until next watering and will make sure i water until runoff. - Temp: 72F (lights off); 78F (lights on) - RH: 71% (lights off); 72% (lights on) Day 39: - No changes Day 40: - LST adjustments - Minor defoliation of the "odd one" plant, removing some of the additional side branches. ☀️- Increased light intensity of HLG Elite 360 fixture. ☀️- LUX: 31,000-32,000 - Temp: 71F (lights off); 78F (lights on) - RH: 70% (lights off); 72% (lights on) Day 41: - No major changes - Plant selfies! Day 42: - I'm finishing off the week with another feeding. The pots of both of the Tropicana Cookies plants were quite light, both having been very thirsty since the last watering. -💧 I watered with dechlorinated tap water, with approxmiately 3ml/gallon each of Remo Nutrients' "Micro", "Grow" and "MagNifiCal" and 2ml/gallon of "VeloKelp", resulting in a 565ppm nutrient solution, pH adjusted to 6.18. - After watering, i did some LST adjustments on the taller, leggy plant. My goal right now is to try and let the other plants in the tent catch up to the size of the taller Tropicana Cookies plant. Normally i would have trimmed some of the side branches of the tall plant but i'm leaving them for now, as i don't want to promote any extra growth to the main tops. - As i finished doing the LST adjustments, i decided to remove the "odd" Tropicana Cookies plant from the tent. It was healthy and growing well but the way that it was branching out spontaneously like crazy and the fact that removing it gives the taller plant much more room and will therefore give me more time to be able to continue tying it down until my Orange Sherbet plants can catch up to it, made it an easy decision to remove the "odd" plant. I've moved it temporarily to a sunny window but ultimately, if i can't give it away to a friend, it'll just live out it's days as a window houseplant.

Anna_J 🌱Week 7🌱 As you'll see below, my issues this week are dealing with a hungry plant. I initially expected that i was having lockout issues due to high runoff PPM's and/or incorrect pH but after testing the runoff after a plain water flush, it seems like this plant is just very hungry and showing straight up deficiencies from lack of nutrients. The plant is also very leggy and getting to the point where i really do need to flip it to flower so that i don't run out of headspace. Unfortunately, the other strain in the tent, Orange Sherbet (check out my other diary for details on those plants) are not quite at the same state of growth and could use a bit more time. I'll continue tying down this Tropicana Plant, hopefully buying myself a bit more time to correct the nutrients and get it back on track before flipping to flower. Day 43: - No major changes - Temp: 70F (lights off); 80F (lights on) - RH: 70% (lights off); 69% (lights on) Day 44: - LST Adjustments, adjusting tie-down's. Day 45: - I wanted to water today but the pot is still quite heavy from the last watering Day 46: - LST adjustments. Adjusted tie-downs. - Turned on my portable air conditioner during lights-off and switched air intake from fresh outside air to the air from the room that the tent is in. - Adjusted my AC Infinity Cloudline T6 exhaust fan during lights-off, to constantly on at 60%, rather than on only when the RH reached a particular level. During lights-on, i switched it back so that it turns on to 40% when temp reaches 81F or RH reaches 71%. - Temp: 73F (lights off); 80F (lights on) - RH: 70% (lights off); 70% (lights on) Day 47: 💧- Watered with dechlorinated tap water, pH adjusted to 6.25. Watered with approximately 2.5 gallons of water, creating around 0.25 gallons of runoff. - Runoff - Plant #1: 824ppm, pH 6.27 - Due to the low runoff PPM's, i decided to add nutrients to the remaining gallon of dechlorinated water, with 4ml/gallon of Remo Nutrients' "Micro", "Grow" & "MagNifiCal", equaling 565ppm and pH 6.07 Day 48: - Leaves are looking very yellow, with the lowest leaves being the worst. Day 49: ☀️- Light levels across the canopy are currently between 30,000-35,000, or around 440-500 PPFD.

Anna_J 🌸Week 8!🌸 First week of flowering! I switched the light cycle to 12/12. I'm still dealing with some deficiency issues and would have liked to have had another week to correct things but this plant is just stretching too much and needed to be flipped to flower to avoid getting too big. I'm running the dehumidify function of my portable air conditioner during the dark period, to try to keep my VPD from straying too far. I'm having to start to do more of a balancing act with my fresh air intake, switching it from fresh (and very cool) outdoor air to just intaking from the room that the grow tent is in. I'm trying to avoid the tent getting too cool while keeping the exhaust fan running steadily at 50%, to help keep the humidity from climbing too high. 🌸Day 50: - increased intensity of HLG Elite 360 fixture. Moved it up to roughly 30" above the canopy and moved the Sunblaster 48W LED strip light up as well, while maintaining roughly 32,000-35,000 LUX. - the Sunblaster light will only be on a few more days, as its a 6400K spectrum light and I'll be swapping it out for two 24W T5HO strip lights at 2700K. 💧- Watered with dechlorinated tap water with roughly 3.5ml/gallon of Remo Nutrients' "Micro", "Bloom", "Astroflower", "MagNifiCal" and "VeloKelp", resulting in a 711ppm solution, pH adjusted to 6.35. 🌸Day 51: - Temp: 75F (lights off); 80F (lights on) - RH: 65% (lights off); 71% (lights on) 🌸Day 52: - Temp: 74F (lights off); 79F (lights on) - RH: 63% (lights off); 64% (lights on) 🌸Day 53: - No changes 🌸Day 54: 💧- Watered with dechlorinated tap water with 4ml/gallon of Remo Nutrients' "Micro", "Bloom", "Astroflower", "MagNifiCal" and 2ml/gallon of "VeloKelp", resulting in a 800ppm solution, pH naturally fell to 6.25. - Temp: 71F (lights off); 78F (lights on) - RH: 64% (lights off); 61% (lights on) 🌸Day 55: - Temp: 72F (lights off); 78F (lights on) - RH: 63% (lights off); 63% (lights on) 🌸Day 56: - No changes

Anna_J 🌸Week 9!🌸 ☀️This week, i'm swapping out my 6400K Sunblaster 48W 48-inch LED strip for two 2700K Sunblaster 24W 24-inch T5HO strips that i'll be positioning at either end of the tent, to help level out the lighting in the corners of the tent. These are maybe not the most ideal lighting choices but they do their intended job and the heat is currently helping keep the temperature of the tent in a good range. ☀️ As with last week, i'm continuing with Remo Nutrient's flowering line of nutrients, although i'll probably continue to leave out the "Nature's Candy" nutrient for another week. Normally i'd have included it from the start of flowering but with my runoff levels being consistantly high and "Nature's Candy" primarily being 'sugars' for bud production, I figured i'd try leaving it out for the first couple of weeks of flower. 🌸Day 57: - Temp: 73F (lights off); 78F (lights on) - RH: 64% (lights off); 63% (lights on) 🌸Day 58: - I was expecting to have to water today but the pot was still a bit heavier than i wanted, still pretty moist from the last watering. I'll wait another day. - Temp: 73F (lights off); 78F (lights on) - RH: 64% (lights off); 63% (lights on) 🌸Day 59: 💧- Watered with 4.5ml/ gallon of Remo Nutrients' "Micro", "Bloom", "Astroflower", "MagNifiCal" and 2.75ml/gallon "Velokelp", resulting in a 975ppm solution. pH fell naturally to 6.25. - Runoff: 1050ppm, pH 6.21 - I'm struggling to control humidity during dark period. The dehumidify function on my portable AC unit isn’t very effective so now im searching for a good deal on a dedicated dehumidifier. - Temp: 72F (lights off); 78F (lights on) - RH: 68% (lights off); 66% (lights on) 🌸Day 60: - The stretch continues... adding a lot of height! ☀️- Raised my HLG Elite 360 fixture to roughly 21-24" above the canopy and increased the intensity. Canopy is getting roughly 39,000-45,000 LUX, or 580-650 PPFD. - I'm running my AC/dehumidifier 24 hours a day to try and control the humidity levels but it's not very effective. I've ordered a proper dehumidifier but it may take a week or more to get here. 🌸Day 61: - Temp: 73F (lights off); 78F (lights on) - RH: 68% (lights off); 65% (lights on) 🌸Day 62: - Plant height: 26-27" - Temp: 74F (lights off); 78F (lights on) - RH: 69% (lights off); 67% (lights on) 🌸Day 63: - I was expecting to wait another day to water but while i was watering my other Orange Sherbet plants, i noticed that the Tropicana pot was much lighter than expected. 💧- Unfortunately i didn't prepare/dechlorinate enough water but i used what i had left from watering my Orange Sherbet plants to give Tropicana Cookies around 3/4 gallon of dechlorinated water with 4ml/gallon of "Micro", "Bloom", "Astroflower" (4ml/gallon of "MagNifiCal" was already mixed in), resulting in a 600ppm solution, pH 6.45. No runoff.

Anna_J 🌸Week 10 (Flowering Week 3)🌸 I'm starting to get a bit of a better handle on my humidity levels during dark period. I'm aiming to keep VPD within a range of roughly 0.9 to 1.2. This plant really stretched out over the last couple of week. Once i notice that the stretch is over, i plan to defoliate heavily on the lower half of the plant. I have my HLG Elite 360 light fixture raised as high as it will go in the tent and i'm running it approximately 80-90% intensity. I'll include a photo showing the PPFD dispersal across a 2x4 tent at 18" and 24" height. The chart was originally found on a YouTube video and i'd like to credit the original creator but i can't seem to find the video. Thank you to whoever it was that did the measurements and created the chart! :) 🌸Day 64 (Flowering Day 15): ☀️- Moved HLG Elite 360 fixture up by 0.5". The light is as high as it will go unless i change the wratchet hangers. ☀️- LUX: 35,000 - 50,000 ☀️- PPFD: 530 - 730 🌸Day 65 (Flower Day 16): 💧- Watered with dechlorinated tap water with 4.5ml/gallon of Remo Nutrients' "Micro", "Bloom", "Astroflower", "MagNifiCal" and 3.5ml/gallon of "VeloKelp", resulting in a 990ppm solution, pH naturally settled at 6.23. - Defoliated bottom half of plant, removing leaves and side branches. - Temp: 71F (lights off); 77F (lights on) - RH: 62% (lights off); 64% (lights on) 🌸Day 66 (Flower Day 17): - I'm having issues again trying to control my humdity levels, especially during lights off. - Temp: 70F (lights off); 77F (lights on) - RH: 66% (lights off); 67% (lights on) 🌸Day 67 (Flower Day 18): - Temp: 67F (lights off); 76F (lights on) - RH: 67% (lights off); 66% (lights on) 🌸Day 68 (Flower Day 19): - Temp: 70F (lights off); 77F (lights on) - RH: 68% (lights off); 66% (lights on) 🌸Day 69 (Flower Day 20): 💧- Watered with decholorinated tap water, mixed with rougly 3ml/gallon of Remo Nutrients' "Micro", "Bloom", "Astroflower", "MagNifiCal", "Nature's Candy" and 2.75ml of "Velokelp", resulting in a 700ppm nutrient solution, pH adjusted to 6.2. 💧- Runoff: - 985ppm, pH 6.26 🌸Day 70 (Flower Day 21): - No major changes but humidity levels have been a pain in the butt this week, especially during dark period. To help keep my VPD in a barely acceptable range, i've had to increase my dark period temperature. My dehumidifier is delayed in shipping and won't be here until later next week. - Temp: 73F (lights off); 76F (lights on) - RH: 66% (lights off); 65% (lights on)

Anna_J 🌸Week 11 (Flowering Week 4)🌸 Things are going well this week. I'm hoping that the dehumidifier I ordered will finally arrive this week, which will help me to better control the humidity during dark period. I was running my HLG Elite 360 fixture at 100% intensity but I've been backing it off when I notice the leaves really starting to taco. I'm hoping to see the buds starting to add weight this week. I had fun taking some pictures in my new chucks and my little skull and bones top. I guess there's no Halloween photo contest this year, which is a bit disappointing but maybe I'll go ahead and do some Halloween themed photos next week. As usual, my diaries are 18+, NSFW and are meant to just be a fun and light-hearted way for me show a bit of the person behind the plants. Anyways, thanks for stopping by and following along! 😊💚 🌸Day 71 (Flower Day 22): - no major changes - Temp: 71F (lights off); 78F (lights on) - RH: 63% (lights off); 63% (lights on) 🌸Day 72 (Flower Day 23): - My HLG Elite 360 light fixture ran at 100% for the first 4 hours and then i dropped it down to roughly 90%. - Temp: 70F (lights off); 76F (lights on) - RH: 62% (lights off); 65% (lights on) 🌸Day 73 (Flower Day 24): - Lighting ran at 100% for first 4 hours, then 90% for remaining 8 hours. 💧- Watered with dechlorinated tap water mixed with 3.75ml/gallon of Remo Nutrients' "Micro", "Bloom", "Astroflower", "MagNifiCal", "VeloKelp" & "Nature's Candy", resulting in a 750ppm solution, pH adjusted to 6.28. 💧- I watered until approximately 0.5 gallons of runoff but i didn't have time to test the runoff. 🌸Day 74 (Flower Day 25): - I'm running my HLG Elite 360 fixture at roughly 90% for the full 12 hours ☀️- LUX: 64,500 (average) ☀️- PPFD: 975 (average) 🌸Day 75 (Flower Day 26): - Temp: 68F (lights off), 77F (lights on) - RH: 62% (lights off), 60% (lights on) 🌸Day 76 (Flower Day 27): - No major changes 🌸Day 77 (Flower Day 28): - I wanted to water today but the pot still felt a bit too heavy and the growing medium was still a bit more damp than i'd like so i'll wait another day but i'm a bit surprised that the plants don't seem as thirsty this week as they did last week. - Temp: 68F (lights off), 78F (lights on) - RH: 61% (lights off), 59% (lights on)

Anna_J 🌸Week 12 (Flowering Week 5)🌸 Week 12 and things are still going relatively smoothly this week so far. I'll preface this week's update by reminding everyone that my diaries are 18+ and NSFW. As i mentioned in my other "Orange Sherbet" diary, I'm going a bit lighter on my feeding this week because of some nutrient burn that those plants are experiencing. Ideally, i should be mixing up a separate batch of nutrients for this Tropicana Cookies plant, since it hasn't shown any signs of nutrient burn and seems to be okay with the feeding levels i'd be giving it. I'll probably pick up another 5 gallon container so that i can start mixing separate batches of nutrients but for this week, i'll hope that it's fine with the slightly lighter feeding. My dehumidifier finally arrived after being stuck in shipping for a week longer than it should have. I'll be running it 24hrs a day within the room that the tent is in to try and get my dark period humidity levels a bit lower. I'm mainly running my intake just from the room that the tent is in. The temperature outside has gotten very cold and running the intake directly from outside would put a very cold draft on the plants. Instead, i bring fresh air into the room and by the time the intake hose pulls it in, it's been warmed slightly by the room itself. The smell has really exploded this week. I was starting to wonder when that would happen! Up until now, i've just been running my exhaust fan on "auto" mode, where it would turn on whenever the temperature or humidity got above the level that i had set. Now that the smell has gotten so much stronger, i'm turning the exhaust fan intensity down a little bit and will be running it constantly to maintain negative pressure so that the carbon filter can do it's job. 🌸Day 78 (Flower Day 29): ☀️- Last week i backed off the light intensity to about 90%. This week i'm going back to 100% to see how the plants react. 💧- Watered with dechlorinated tap water mixed with approximately 3ml/gallon of Remo Nutrients' "Micro", "Grow", "Astroflower", "MagNifiCal", "VeloKelp" and "Nature's Candy", resulting in a 600ppm solution, pH adjusted to 6.16. 💧- Watered until approximately 200ml of runoff was collected. Once i collected and tested the first bit of runoff, i continued watering until approximately 0.5 gallons of runoff was collected. 💧- Runoff Levels: 777ppm, pH 6.45 🌸Day 79 (Flower Day 30): - Temp: 70F (lights off), 78F (lights on) - RH: 63% (lights off), 59% (lights on) 🌸Day 80 (Flower Day 31): - This is the first day that i'm running my new dehumidifier. Hopefully it'll help lower the RH of the tent during dark period. - Temp: 71F (lights off), 78F (lights on) - RH: 62% (lights off), 60% (lights on) 🌸Day 81 (Flower Day 32): - update coming soon! 🌸Day 82 (Flower Day 33): - update coming soon! 🌸Day 83 (Flower Day 34): - update coming soon!

@legal_buds_germany, Then why even click on it an engage. You aren't going to change anyone. That's not what is happening though. She's a a good grower that documents extremely well regardless of what ever artistic expression they decide to complement the grow you may not like. Perhaps theirs possibility you're a little jealous without saying your jealous. being kinder may give you better attention. Just consider that, have a nice day.

@Growyourhi, Thanks. I'm happy to now have a dehumidifier, which will be very handy for having more control during the late flowering period and drying period and i'm thinking of trying out those "grove bags" for curing, which people seem to have good things to say about. 😊

@Anna_J, yes. I am in Cali. dry here. fans and cooler temps help tremendously with high humidity also. loli popping week 3 or 4 also increases that air flow. But yes, PM can come out if nowhere. keeping fans and exhaust filters / filter cover is crucial too. making sure your tent/ lung room exhaust to outdoors most crucial.
