After getting established in their small pots, the seedlings are now moving outside onto the balcony. Time for some real sunlight, fresh air and the beginning of their outdoor adventure. ☀️🌿 Let's see how they handle their new environment. 💚🌱

DivineBuds420 The plants have grown quite a bit since moving outside and are getting noticeably bigger. They seem to be enjoying the fresh air and natural sunlight, and the little seedlings from the beginning are starting to look like proper plants now. 🌿☀️ Things are finally starting to get interesting. Let's see how much bigger they can get. 🌱 🌱 AN INTERESTING OBSERVATION — GOLOSA I noticed something unusual about one of the Golosa plants. Instead of producing the usual alternating pairs of shoots at each node, this plant appears to be developing two pairs of shoots at the same node. I'm not sure what is causing this unusual growth pattern yet. Could it simply be an interesting genetic variation, or could we be looking at something more unusual, such as a polyploid trait? Too early to tell, but definitely something I'm going to keep an eye on. 👀🌱 Let's see how this plant develops as it grows.

DivineBuds420 The plants keep growing, despite having to deal with the usual mix of wind and weather on the balcony. So far, most of them seem to be handling the outdoor conditions well and are continuing to put on new growth. 🌿☀️ The Green Poison is still noticeably behind the others and is currently the smallest plant in the lineup. It is still in its 1 L pot, but seems to be slowly recovering and putting on some new growth. It's definitely taking its time, but at least we're moving in the right direction. 🌱💚

DivineBuds420 The plants keep growing steadily, even though the wind has started to leave its mark. Some of them are getting noticeably bent and leaning quite heavily from the constant wind exposure, but they are still putting on new growth and seem to be handling it well. 🌱💨 This week, the plants were transplanted into their final 11 L pots, giving the roots plenty of room to develop for the rest of the grow. The Balcony Jungle is getting bigger — and definitely a little wild. 😅🌿

DivineBuds420 The plants have settled in well and are growing rapidly. At this rate, things are probably going to get crowded again. 😅🌿 The Golosa is especially interesting. It has developed an unusually thick but rather flat main stem, almost as if two main stems were growing side by side. Combined with its unusual growth structure, this plant is producing a surprising amount of foliage. Definitely one to keep an eye on. 👀🌱 Let's see how much space this Balcony Jungle is going to need... Spoiler – all of it. 😂

DivineBuds420 We're abroad again, but luckily we have a reliable plant sitter taking care of the Balcony Jungle and sending us regular photos. 📸🌿 It's already the end of July, and the plants have continued to grow at an impressive pace. Looking at how much they've grown over the last couple of weeks, I'm starting to wonder if we might already be seeing the beginning of the stretch. It's still a little early to say for sure, but the timing could make sense. No obvious signs of flowering yet, but things are definitely starting to get interesting. 👀🌱 A little look at how this year's balcony tomatoes are coming along. 🍅🌱 They're growing alongside the Balcony Jungle and are slowly turning the balcony into even more of a jungle. 😅🌿 Let's see what the next few weeks bring.

DivineBuds420 The plants are still pushing strongly upwards, but they're now also starting to fill out much more horizontally. The canopy is becoming noticeably wider and bushier, with more side growth developing across the plants. It looks like the Balcony Jungle is not only getting taller, but also considerably fuller. 🌿☀️ Still plenty of growing to do — and judging by the pace they're going at, space is definitely becoming a serious concern. 😂🌱

DivineBuds420 The plants are continuing to grow strongly, and the Balcony Jungle is getting fuller by the week. From the middle of this week, we'll be abroad again for a few weeks, but as usual, my brother is taking good care of the plants while we're away. 📸🌿 Before leaving, each of the ladies received a top dress with 10 g of BioTabs Silicium Flash and 10 ml of Orgatrex. Hopefully, this gives them some additional support as they continue their transition towards flowering. Now it's time to leave them in good hands and see what they look like when we get back. 🌱☀️

DivineBuds420 We're still away, but the plants are being well taken care of. 📸🌿 The ladies are getting noticeably bushier, and my suspicion from the last few weeks seems to be confirmed. The stretch definitely seems to have kicked in, and now we're starting to see the first signs of flowering. The tomatoes are happily growing as well, producing plenty of flowers and already setting lots of fruit. 🍅🌱 Things are getting very crowded in the Balcony Jungle, but that's making the whole thing even more interesting. 😅🌱 Let's see how the plants develop from here — it's getting exciting. 🌸💚

DivineBuds420 We're finally back home, and the Balcony Jungle has definitely grown while we were away. 😅🌿 The first Appalachian Kush is now starting to form its flowers, so it looks like flowering is officially underway. The plants have also reached a size where their large amount of foliage acts almost like a sail in the wind. With the strong and frequent winds we get up here, the little 11 L pots have started getting blown over. For now, I've secured the pots with some Paracord as a simple temporary solution. 💨😅 I also removed some foliage and a few of the lower branches, mainly to make watering and working around the plants a little easier. The Appalachian Kush plants are currently the biggest of the bunch, but there isn't a huge difference in size between the strains. Even the Green Poison, which fell behind earlier in the grow, has managed to catch up quite nicely. 🌱💚 The Golosa is still showing its unusual growth pattern as well. Its thick but flat main stem has now split at the top, forming two main tops instead of one. 👀🌱 It's definitely starting to look like a proper Balcony Jungle now. ☀️🌿 The tomatoes have been keeping us busy as well. We've already been harvesting them gradually for quite some time and have enjoyed several kilos of homegrown tomatoes so far. 🍅😋 They are honestly incredibly delicious, and the yellow variety has become our clear favourite. Definitely one of the highlights of this year's Balcony Jungle. ☀️🍅🌱

DivineBuds420 The plants don't seem to be stretching upwards anymore, and the vertical growth is coming to an end. 🌿 All of them are now showing signs of flowering, although some are further along than others. 🌸🌱 I've also noticed that the foliage seems to be getting a little lighter again. 🍃 I think it's probably time to give them some additional nutrients, so I'll likely give them another feed next week. 🌱 Despite the changeable weather, the plants are holding up really well. ☀️🌧️💨 We've had everything from warm, sunny and dry days to rain and strong winds. They've also already had to deal with hail and even storms. ⛈️🌧️💨 So far, they've handled all of it surprisingly well and seem to have bounced back from every challenge without too many problems. 💪🌿 For now, everything seems to be moving in the right direction. 👍🌱 Let's see how the flowers develop over the next few weeks. 🌸👀💚🌱

DivineBuds420 The plants are showing different levels of development and stress this week. The weather has been quite unpredictable lately. We've had daytime temperatures around 28°C, while some nights dropped as low as 8°C. On top of that, we've had temporary dry periods, strong winds and heavy rain showers. Basically, just business as usual in Northern Germany. 😂🌦️💨 Despite all of this, the ladies are pushing forward. 🌸 APPALACHIAN KUSH One of the Appalachian Kush plants was the first to start flowering, and she's continuing to push ahead. You can clearly see the buds getting larger and spreading further across the plant. 🌸 Her sister is also showing clear signs of flower production, although she is not nearly as far along yet. Interestingly, she's already showing an obvious reaction to the cold nights, with some of her leaves starting to turn purple. 💜🌿 🌱 GREEN POISON Green Poison has surprisingly caught up quite a bit, both in height and in flower development. She's also developed a beautiful, strong green colour, which is great to see. 💚🌱 🌿 GOLOSA Our little mutant Golosa has developed into exactly the kind of bushy plant we expected. 😂🌱 She's becoming a very interesting plant, and I'm really curious to see how she continues to develop over the coming weeks. I'm especially interested to see how she forms her flowers and what the final result will look like with her two naturally separating main branches. Definitely one to keep an eye on. 👀🌿 🖤 SIRIUS BLACK Sirius Black has developed a good structure and is also looking strong in terms of height. She's starting to form flowers as well. Unfortunately her overall colour still looks a little weaker compared to the other ladies. We may need to intervene again over the next few weeks if she doesn't catch up. 🌱👀 🌿 THIS WEEK'S FEEDING This week, all plants received a top dressing of 15 g Silicium Flash. In addition, they received a solution containing 1 g of Bactrex and 10 ml of Orgatrex. Now we'll give them some time and see how they respond to it. 🌱 We're hoping for some good weather and, even more importantly, strong resilience from the ladies over the next few weeks so they can handle whatever Northern Germany decides to throw at them. 😂🌦️💨 We're excited to see how everything develops from here and will keep a close eye on how the plants react. DivineBuds420 The plants are still having to deal with the constantly changing Northern German weather. At this point, I have the feeling that some of the plants have slowed their growth down a little. I decided to selectively remove some leaves to improve airflow. This week I brewed a batch of BioTabs Compost Tea. For each litre of tea, I used 15 g of BioTabs Compost Tea and 5 ml of Orgatrex in 1 litre of water. The mixture was brewed for 36 hours, and I added approximately 0.6 g of Bactrex per litre of tea 30 minutes before the end of the brewing process. Each plant received approximately 500 ml of the finished tea. 🌱 🌿 GOLOSA Our mutant Golosa is becoming more and more of a real bush. 😂🌱 Because of what appears to be her unusual mutation, she continues to produce an incredible amount of foliage. I will probably have to do another round of defoliation soon, simply to keep the amount of leaves under control and improve airflow through the plant. There is also something else I've noticed about her. The uppermost leaves on most of the shoots usually look nice and firm, while the larger lower leaves are almost constantly hanging down. It almost looks as if she isn't getting enough water to all parts of the plant, even though she definitely has enough water available. I'm not sure what is causing this. Maybe the sheer number of shoots and all that additional foliage is creating some kind of problem with water distribution throughout the plant? Or maybe there is another explanation entirely. 🌸 APPALACHIAN KUSH The more advanced Appalachian Kush is slowly but surely developing larger and denser flowers. The buds are becoming noticeably more voluminous and firmer, which is great to see. 💚 🌧️ TIME FOR SOME RAIN PROTECTION With the weather becoming increasingly unpredictable and the flowers getting bigger, I think it's finally time to give the ladies some proper protection from the rain. So I'm bringing out the rain shelter that I originally built a few years ago as nothing more than a temporary solution. Let's see how well my old little DIY construction holds up this time. 😂 Hopefully, it will help keep the flowers a little drier while still allowing the plants to get plenty of fresh air. The weather might be making things difficult, but the ladies are still pushing forward. Let's see what the next few weeks bring. 🤞🌱💚

DivineBuds420 There hasn't been all that much happening this week. The plants are still having to fight against the weather, and the partly strong winds and increasingly cold nights are definitely leaving their mark. 🌱 SIRIUS BLACK Sirius Black is developing increasingly yellow leaves. The yellowing is mainly affecting the older, larger leaves and seems to be slowly spreading from the edges and tips towards the centre of the leaves and further towards the stems. It looks to me like there might be some kind of issue with nutrient uptake, although I'm not completely sure what is causing it yet. For now, I'll keep a close eye on her and see how the symptoms develop. This week, all of the plants received 10 ml of BioTabs Bio PK 5-8. 🌱 🌿 GOLOSA Our mutant Golosa continues to surprise me. 🤩🌱 The two main branches that developed from her unusual growth pattern are now producing two very different-looking flowers. The thinner main branch is developing what looks like a completely normal flower, while the thicker one is producing a strange, elongated, almost doubled flower structure. The shape strongly reminds me of some of the images I've seen online when looking at examples of what is described as polyploid growth. At this point, I'm obviously not saying that this is actually polyploidy — I'm simply describing what I'm seeing. What makes it even more interesting is that the main stem almost looks as if it is made up of three stems fused together, before splitting again at the top into one single and one doubled growth structure. It's honestly pretty wild to look at. 😂🌱 Because this plant is showing such unusual growth, I decided to take a cutting from this particular specimen as a precaution, just to preserve the genetics for now. I'm really curious to see how these unusual structures continue to develop. 👀🌸 🌸 APPALACHIAN KUSH Unfortunately, I found some bud rot developing in the main cola of the more advanced Appalachian Kush. I removed the affected area quite generously for now and will be monitoring the plant very closely over the next few days. If the problem continues to spread, I may have to harvest her earlier than planned. That's obviously not something I want to do, especially with the flowers still having some time to develop. On the other hand, I have to weigh that against the risk of allowing the problem to spread further. If it does continue, the priority will be damage control rather than waiting for the perfect harvest window. If I end up harvesting her early, my current plan is to freeze the freshly harvested material and potentially process it into bubble hash at a later point. For now, though, I'll give her a few more days and keep a very close eye on that main cola and the other buds. 👀🌸 The weather is definitely making this outdoor run more challenging than expected. Let's see what the next few days bring. 🤞🌱💚

I've mainly been keeping an eye on the plants, leaving them alone as much as possible and giving them water whenever needed. 💧🌱 Over the next week or two, I will probably rearrange the plants again so I can give them a little better protection from the rain. I also plan to give our Golosa another, somewhat more aggressive round of defoliation. At this point, I think it's time to take a little more control over that jungle, even though I really like the beautiful purple dress of foliage she's developing. 💜🌿 Maybe I'll even give the plants another feeding of BioTabs Bio PK 5-8. That's the plan for now. 🌱💚

DivineBuds420 Unfortunately, this run with the more advanced Appalachian Kush came to an earlier end than planned. The bud rot continued to spread, so I decided that it was time to harvest her rather than risk losing even more of the plant. It's definitely not the harvest I was hoping for, as I would have liked to give the flowers more time to develop. I actually found this plant quite promising throughout the grow. The overall vigour, the fast development of the flowers and the terpene profile she was starting to develop all made me very curious about her final potential. Unfortunately, we won't get to see that with this plant. As planned, I harvested the flowers together with the sugar leaves and immediately froze the fresh material for processing at a later point. One Appalachian Kush plant is still standing, though, and interestingly, she is showing quite different characteristics and a different flower structure. So even though this particular plant had to be harvested early, the Appalachian Kush story isn't over yet. 👀🌱 Let's see what the remaining plant has in store for us. 🤞💚
