Germination

Canna96 Hey now, time to get this fall run kicked off. I just popped 12 seeds Saturday in paper towels, and then put them in solo cups this morning before work. Three of them are already peeking through the seed starter mix. I will keep the strongest seeding of each strain, and give the rest to a friend. I am planning to transplant from the solo cups in about two weeks, then they will go into the 5X5 tent in Airpots and hooked up to a drip system from a reservoir where they will get fed 4 times per day. I am planning to mainline all the plants as it gets a little tight fitting 5 plants into my 5X5. I am planning to harvest them around New Years, but whichever ones are ready early will get chopped and hung to dry in the 2X2 while the rest finish and they will get hung in the same 5X5 they grew in. I have found the best time in my region to start seedlings is in the late summer, when its already hot and humid, and by flower time in the fall, the weather is much cooler and less humid, and it works with me and not against me. I have found it easier to just do one run with multiple strains, and get a few pounds to last me the rest of the year. Its also nice to get a break to get some fishing and travelling in between runs. I will be flushing and buffering my coco coir in Cal Mag this week, and also doing a final cleaning and setup of my main tent. Thanks for stopping by, safe and blaze on!

Canna96 Hey now, his week went excellent, all the seedlings are doing great and they started feeding on some cal mag and veg nutes at a very low dose. I will gradually increase the strength of the nutes, and I will transplant them into their final homes in about t seven to ten days. I got my coco coir flushed and soaking in some cal mag solution and ready to go. I also cleaned out the main tent and the airpots I will be transplanting to. Not much to do this week but wait for the seedlings to grow, once they get in the airpots they will take off, and then the training begins. I am planning to build 5 mainlines and see what these genetics can do. Thanks for stopping by, safe safe and Blaze On!

Canna96 The ladies are looking happy, I'm feeding them about every other day, with cal mag and veg nutes, i started with about 400EC on day 7, and bumped it up each day until I fed them last night with 900EC. I will be transplanting them into their final homes sometime this week, and they will probably get their first topping within 48 hours of going into their final homes. I just let them really adjust and take off first, which only typically takes two days tops. then they will start feeding four times per day at around an EC of 1200. They will also go under a 300-watt Mars Hydro LED, where I will keep them until flower, then I will use CMH lighting. I will also probably run a time lapse of building the mainlines once they go in the big tent later this week. I've never run these specific strains, but have run strains by Brothers Grimm, RQS, and Barney's Farm and have had excellent results. Thanks for stopping by, stay safe, and blaze on!
