raccoons have dug her out of her pot for the last time. after the fourth time, i didnโt think the plant would produce much due to the lack of vegetation. lesson learned...put up some sort of fence if growing outdoors in the woods!!
Hi there mate , one little trick you could use is the old shadecloth cover jobby.
Basically just use a small piece of shade cloth to cover your pot but make sure to leave adequate room for air to get in and not let the cloth touch the soil if possible. All should be ok if you water before you take off to your destination.
Also snails etc just love freshly germinated seedlings so the shade cloth will keep them away too.
Hope Ive helped Mate ๐
Technically, you could go the route of light defoliation, and then prgressively remove more until you only have the one main budsite. At the same time though, if she's stunted, you'll get overall less output from her anyway, however you could always use the popcorn buds that the lower branches produce for hash! To each their own it would seem, but I would say leave her and let her grow out. Sometimes they can surprise you when they rebound!
hey there Hundy, i'mm not sure why you seem to want to trim it for a lower yield, but if I had to make a suggestion, i would say remove all leafs with more than 3 tips to keep it in veg even longer until it has the desired size, then let it grow on its own during flower. That way you can control the veg period until satisfied and probably get 10X the yield you would have got from a stick-like plant. Hope this helps ! ๐
LaBOSSANOVAitโs an autoflower and into fourth week of vegetation, hoping vegetation will go for 6 weeks, my thought was let the plant focus on one kick ass cola instead of a handful of smaller buds
@CRiSPrGrow,thanks appreciate your guidance. iโm just going to let it grow! your diaries are amazing man, iโd definitely like to run a question by you in the future if any come up
@hundyDundy, no i know, but you'll be able to control the veg period with that technique, and idk about that one cola idea, i wanted to do a tent-full of those one cola plants but in much smaller pots , the straight stick strategy is for finding strength in numbers : you're always better off with more colas otherwise, does that make sense?
@hundyDundy,you can only select one answer i'm afraid ! maybe @growdiaries will make a "second transferable vote" system for us in the future though ! Hope i answered your question, if you need a follow up just drop me a message ๐
