MrBananas This will be my first run with hydro, I will be running a DWC system and testing out Lotus Nutrients. I dont really grow autos very often, but these were a great deal and looked amazing, so come join me for an adventure into the unknown (for me that is)!
Update: got the dwc setup, water is all PHd properly, ready to rock and roll and get to seedling level! Seeds have indeed popped and are in the rockwool, getting excited!

MrBananas Into seedling stage we go! The roots have hit the nutrient solution, i have given them a very low dose, and they seem to be happy! Suggestions on how to keep them more lively before their roots hit the water would be helpful, as you see the 1st set of leaves were a bit nutrient starved. But now that they are feeding on the lotus nutes, they are looking much much better!

I use cloning cubes with the slit down through it and hang the seedling with the tap root in a coffee filter in a bag until the tap root is long and straight then put it in the net pot with the root pretty much touching the bottom and fill your bucket up until 1in under the net pot with air stones making tiny drops bouncing up. it only took my seedlings a day or 2 and they touching water
