Chucky324 Hello. This is the start of my Mimosa Diary.
3 out of 5 seeds popped.
My soak water is Revers Osmosis that I ph adjust. I take 2 cups and ...
I add a pinch of cinnamon, it's anti-fungal and it has similar properties as cloning gel.
I also add 4 drops of 30% hydrogen peroxide, it helps clean the water and adds oxygen to the water, and softens the membrane so the seed can slip out of it shell easier. Put a plastic cover on it and put it in a warm dark spot.
Check after 24 hours and put the seeds on the paper towels. Soak with the soak water, not too much, I show a pic of how much water there should be tipped at 45* degrees. Put back in a warm dark spot and check after 24 more hours.
I've got my homemade copper stem holders on, so they don't fall over.
I'll give some light nutrient with some friendly fungus and microbes in it, in the next watering.
Doing good so far...
OK. Be Great.
Chuck.

Chucky324 Hello. This is the start of the first week of veg, for these Mimosa seedlings.
The plants look good for their age.
They got some 1/2 strength food last watering, with some friendly fungus and microbes in there too.
Lowered the light a foot or so and turned it up to 30%. Just so you know.
Doing good so far.
OK. Have Fun.
Chuck.

Chucky324 Hello. This is the end of week 1 and the beginning of week 2 of veg.
Going good in here. They were dry before the pics were taken and got a drink.
Got some space between the leaf nodes... Showing it's sativa side.
I'm going to have to turn up the light a bit more this week. Maybe up to 40%.
OK. Be Great.

Chucky324 Hello This is the end of week 2 and the beginning of week 3 of veg.
Man... there's a bit of space between those leaf sets.
I can handle about 4 inches between sets, but any more will make it a more difficult grow.
Everything else is going good. They get 1/2 strength food with every watering.
I'm going to move up in a pot size soon and maybe do a topping to get more branches going up.
OK. Be Cool.
Chuck.
Oh Yes... I'll photograph another comic book and have it ready for next week, for your enjoyment.

Chucky324 Hello This is the end of week 3 and the beginning of week 4 of veg. I forgot the video this week.
These plants were sleeping when I turned on the lights to get some pics. So they look a bit wilty.
I've repotted them and topped all of them so the branches can make more tops and slow their upward growth.
If one of them grows faster, I can top all the tops, on that plant, to slow her upward growth further, and double the top buds.
They've got some yellow leaves because I let them dry out to wilting twice in a row, because i was busy elsewhere.
So they were looking after themselves by killing off some bottom leaves so they won't transpire so much.
They will be happier now that they have been repotted. And they will grow a bit slower now that they have been topped.
OK. Be Great.
Chuck.

Chucky324 Hello This is the end of week 4 and the beginning of week 5 of veg.
Things are going good. They have gotten over their transplanting shock and topping shock are growing upwards now.
Got a small one and a tall one and one in-between.
Another couple of week and I'll repot them again into their final pots and put in a tomato cage to spread the branches out.
The spiders are getting big in the fall around here. You can hear the web snap and pop when you walk into one.
Found a winter project. Got for free a 240 bottle wine insulated wine cabinet with a double pane glass window.
I'll put 3 thermoelectric motors in for cooling and a small dehumidifier for the moisture. There's a video on you tube I'll follow.
I was in the grow store looking for the frequency altered water that I use on the powdery mildew. They were lout of it.
So the clerk told me about this. He said it's a safe cure all for pests and mold and fungus. Check out the web site.
The Safer Soap Insecticide Co owner sold his Co. and did research with some of the money and started a new Co.
I like that's essential oils being used.
OK. Be Great.
