Tomask Hey, we've just finished the first top. For now, I'm running the veg at 300 W under an older light. I'm planning a max of 4 weeks of veg and then they'll go under 720 W. I've got 4 Bonboni from seeds and 2 ICE Tower clones. Let it grow, take care!

Tomask Hey folks,
there's not much to think about here – the candies are doing great, just those clones from the Ice Tower are lagging a bit. Otherwise, next week, four girls are going into the second tent under 720 W and I'll switch to flowering. So, may your plants grow well, take care! 🙂

Tomask Hey there! The last week of vegetation is coming to an end. I did some topping and LST – topped 5 days ago, now I'm just bending and switching to flowering on Friday. Let's make it grow!

Tomask Čau, tak 5. den květu máme za sebou. Zálivku jsem už přešel na kompletní krmení na květ (EC 2,2; pH 6,0). Holky vypadají zdravě, tak ať se daří i vám! 🙂 720w 1*1m

Tomask Hey everyone,
I’ll start with some sad news. On Monday, during my routine morning check, I found something suspicious on the girls. After consulting with other growers on Discord, I noticed that these aren’t just isolated bananas – if they were, it wouldn’t be a problem, I’d just trim them or pluck them off and we’d be back to having fun. But we found out that I hit hermaphrodites in 3 out of 4 plants.
From the beginning, it felt strange to me because I knew I had constant temperature and humidity throughout the entire vegetative stage and after the switch. During the day, it was a sunny 26–28 °C, and when the girls were sleeping, a nice 21–23 °C. Humidity was consistently between 45–55% since the switch to flowering, so I was sure it couldn’t have been the conditions. The second thing is that I’m not some extreme tyrant with the plants, so it couldn’t have been a shock – during vegetative, I mostly just do LST and some topping, but everything within limits.
Anyway, the good news is that at least one girl is like from a textbook – no bananas, and I checked her really thoroughly. And now for the best part: this girl gets to enjoy 720 W just for her buds, so I’m expecting them to be such rocks that I won’t even be able to carry them. 😆
I wish you all good luck and hope you don’t face a surprise like I did. After a long think and discussions on Discord, I’ve come to the conclusion that it had to happen to me eventually – it’s nature after all, and that gene will always be coded in there.
So take care and may your plants grow beautifully! ☺️
