discopriest379 As usual, I germinated the seeds in Jiffy pellets. All three seeds sprouted without any problems, and I gave them a little extra support with Plagron Seedbooster to help them get off to a strong start. 🌱✨

For the first few weeks, I kept the plants in the greenhouse, as it was warm and dry in there. I was waiting for better weather before transplanting them into their final spot in the ground. 🌿☀️

discopriest379 By week 9, the plants had reached around 100–120 cm and were strong enough to move to their final outdoor spot. I transplanted them directly from the greenhouse into the ground. ☀️🌿
I prepared the planting holes with my own soil mix: regular garden soil, black soil substrate, compost and perlite. I also added some Guanokalong at the bottom, mixed into the soil. 🌱💚

discopriest379 By week 12, the plants seemed to have completely lost their minds and shot up to almost 2 meters tall 😄🌱. They were growing like crazy!
There was barely any need to water them, even with several heatwaves hitting Europe. I only gave them some water about once a week at most, using either settled water or rainwater from my barrel 💧☀️🌿

discopriest379 And here we are at week 16 😄 — this is the first week they’ve officially started flowering. Their height is absolutely insane: they’re around 220 cm tall! 😳🌱 I really hope they don’t stretch much more, because I’ve already had to trim the trees above them to give them enough space 😂🌳
The leaves are beautifully green and everything looks healthy and happy so far. The buds are starting to form, although the development is nowhere near as noticeable as it was with the autos. I have to admit, I’m a little unsure about that… 😅 I just hope they have enough time to finish before the ugly autumn weather arrives. 🍂🌧️
I’m also thinking about treating them with Polyversum this week as a preventive measure against fungal diseases. 🌿💨
