discopriest379 As usual, I germinated the seeds in Jiffy pellets. All three seeds sprouted without any problems, and I gave them a little extra support with Plagron Seedbooster to help them get off to a strong start. 🌱✨

.....
For the first few weeks, I kept the plants in the greenhouse, as it was warm and dry in there. I was waiting for better weather before transplanting them into their final spot in the ground. 🌿☀️

discopriest379 By week 9, the plants had reached around 100–120 cm and were strong enough to move to their final outdoor spot. I transplanted them directly from the greenhouse into the ground. ☀️🌿
I prepared the planting holes with my own soil mix: regular garden soil, black soil substrate, compost and perlite. I also added some Guanokalong at the bottom, mixed into the soil. 🌱💚

discopriest379 By week 12, the plants seemed to have completely lost their minds and shot up to almost 2 meters tall 😄🌱. They were growing like crazy!
There was barely any need to water them, even with several heatwaves hitting Europe. I only gave them some water about once a week at most, using either settled water or rainwater from my barrel 💧☀️🌿

discopriest379 And here we are at week 16 😄 — this is the first week they’ve officially started flowering. Their height is absolutely insane: they’re around 220 cm tall! 😳🌱 I really hope they don’t stretch much more, because I’ve already had to trim the trees above them to give them enough space 😂🌳
The leaves are beautifully green and everything looks healthy and happy so far. The buds are starting to form, although the development is nowhere near as noticeable as it was with the autos. I have to admit, I’m a little unsure about that… 😅 I just hope they have enough time to finish before the ugly autumn weather arrives. 🍂🌧️
I’m also thinking about treating them with Polyversum this week as a preventive measure against fungal diseases. 🌿💨

discopriest379 This week it’s finally clear that the plants have entered flowering. The buds are still small for now, but there are quite a lot of them already 🌸✨
The weather has been stable, which is great. It’s already quite humid in the mornings, but the wind dries everything out nicely, so I’m not too worried about excessive humidity for now.
This week I also did some defoliation on the lower branches and removed some of the lower leaves. At the same time, I’m gradually thinning out some of the leaves that are shading the buds and blocking light 🌿✂️☀️
I started feeding them with Plagron Alga Bloom, Sugar Royal and Power Buds 🌿💧
Tonight I’ll also do the final spray with Polyversum Biogarden, a biological product used as a preventive treatment against fungal diseases 🌿💨
My plan from here is to water according to the weather, but otherwise roughly every 2–3 days. I don’t want to overwater them unnecessarily 💧🌱
I’ve also added a weather forecast for the next few days — temperature-wise, everything is looking great so far ☀️🌡️
The second chart shows the amount of sunshine 🌞

discopriest379 This week I noticed the buds growing again — they’re getting bigger and stronger, which is great to see. The sunshine is getting worse now, though. We had a few cloudy days, and today it has been raining since the morning, so everything is quite humid 🌧️💧.
The forecast suggests we might get a few nice days again, so hopefully that works out ☀️🤞
At this point, it’s really becoming a bit of a lottery 😄🎰
Last week I only watered them twice, and I removed a few more leaves again to improve airflow through the plants 🌿✂️.
We also did quite a lot of trimming of the trees above the plants and behind the fence 🌳✂️. The less green mass there is to hold onto moisture, the better for me at this stage.
Now I’m just hoping the weather gives us a little break and lets these ladies finish properly 🌸☀️🤞.

discopriest379 Everything still looks good this week. The leaves are healthy, and the buds continue to develop nicely 🌸✨
I watered twice this week — on September 16th and September 19th. Each time I used 10 L of water with 3 ml of Alga Bloom and new added 1 ml of Green Sensation 💧🌿.
The plants currently get direct sunlight from around 12:30 until about 15:00, depending on the weather ☀️. After that, the house starts shading them.
This week I also did quite a lot of defoliation again, mainly to prevent the leaves from shading the buds and to improve airflow through the plants 🌿✂️💨
So far, the weather has actually been quite favorable. The mornings aren’t as humid anymore, and there’s still a nice amount of airflow around the plants. Even though it rained during the night, the plants were already completely dry by 8 AM. It was also quite windy on Saturday — you can see it in the video 😄💨🌿
Hopefully this weather will last. I need at least another three weeks of reasonably dry conditions to get them safely to the finish line 😄🌸☀️
Fingers crossed! 🤞🌿

discopriest379 This week was definitely a real test. Since Monday, the weather has been cold, windy and rainy, and we even had a thunderstorm one day ⛈️🌧️. Luckily, it didn’t rain heavily enough for the wind to dry the plants out — thank God for the wind! 😂💨
***
I’ve been watering them as usual, roughly every 2–3 days 💧🌿.
***
Over the last few days, the mornings have started getting really cold, around 6–7°C, with quite a lot of morning dew 🌡️💧, so conditions are definitely not ideal anymore.
The important thing is that the plants are still looking good. I check them every day, and they’re still getting enough sunlight when the weather allows ☀️🌿.
***
I’ve added the weather forecast as well, and it’s looking pretty good all the way until October 7th. I’m currently thinking that harvest could be around October 5th ✂️🌸. Every extra day they get beyond that will be a huge bonus.
***
I’d rather harvest a little early than push it until the very last moment and end up with nothing at all 😄🌧️

discopriest379 FINALE! YEEEHAW! 😄🌸✂️ Croptober is here! 🎃🌿
This week was absolutely fantastic — the weather was beautiful, and honestly, what more could a growmie ask for? ☀️🌿 The only thing that has started to appear are morning fogs, like today — you can see it in the video.
***
I watered them twice this week, with the last watering yesterday (Sunday) 💧.
***
And since the weather is supposed to take a serious turn for the worse from Thursday onwards, I’m not going to risk it. The HARVEST WINDOW is officially open! 🤠🌸✂️
I’ll leave the overall evaluation for next week, once everything is harvested and I can properly look back at the whole run.

Wishing everyone plenty of sunny days, a Happy Croptober & Ghostober! 🎃👻☀️🌸
