crucifix Week 4 Orion F1 & Milky Way F1 – Update 🌱 A little update on the girls. Milky Way F1 is doing really well so far. She looks healthy, has a nice green colour and I haven’t noticed anything worrying. Orion F1, on the other hand, has been stressing me out a little 😅. I first noticed pale/yellowish tips on the newest growth, and during the last few days the whole plant has also become noticeably lighter. What surprised me the most is that about three days ago she looked darker and healthier. Both plants are growing in exactly the same environment and have received the same feeding, water and care, which makes the difference between them quite interesting. Because of the pale tips, I reduced the nutrient strength by around 30% and started paying even more attention to the pH. I also gave Orion pH-adjusted water and now I’m mainly watching how the new growth develops. I also wondered if the light could be playing a role, as my SF-1000 has been running at 100% intensity and is mounted at the top of my 70 × 70 × 180 cm tent. For now, Orion is still growing, so I’m definitely not giving up on her. I’m just going to keep an eye on the colour of the new growth and see whether she starts getting greener again. It’s pretty interesting to see how differently two genetics can react even when they receive exactly the same treatment. Hopefully Orion is just being a little dramatic 😅🌱
