Growfather1 Hello everyone, update for the 2 Frozen Bananas F1 Hybrids by Barney's Farm. Starting with the biggest plant, we are on day 28, starting week 4. I transplanted her yesterday from a 5 liter pot to a 21 liter AirPot.She is doing okay and already topped. I used 40% perlite with 60% coco. I tapped the pot off with pure coco to keep the perlite on the under because as soon as water touches it, it floats up. They are both fed 2 milliliters of Canna Coco A and B and 4 milliliters of Canna Rhizotonic to stimulate root growth. Light is on 24/7. Then, for her sibling, she is not doing so well. I'm going to give her 2 weeks to check the new growth if it shows normal signs. If not, I have to check this one out early—talk about a short fuse! She is currently recovering from her recent neem oil treatment. I didn't do too much to her this week, just gave her a good watering with plenty of runoff, and she seems to be taking it well. Then, for her sibling, she is still in severe distress. Honestly, she still doesn't show any signs of healthy growth. I gave her a thorough flush and I am being incredibly careful with the nutrients to ensure there is absolutely no salt buildup, but she is still acting like a moody teenager refusing to clean her room. As I mentioned last week, she is officially on a two-week probation notice. If she doesn't show any signs of turn-around by next week, I will unfortunately have to sleep with the fishes—or rather, she will be sleeping in the compost bin, as I will have to eliminate her from the tent. The environment has been adjusted slightly to help them out. The humidity is currently sitting comfortably between 61% and 63%. The temperature has stabilized a bit more, swinging between 23°C and 25°C. To help trap that warmth and moisture inside, I have dialed the exhaust fan down to a lower setting of about 30%. She is doing perfectly fine and is heavily focusing on growing those roots. I’ve been giving her a little haircut every 3 to 4 days, just picking off a leaf or two to keep her looking sharp. She still needs at least 3 weeks of vegetative growth before we switch her over to flower, so she’s got some time to keep bulking up. Now, as for the little sibling... the drama continues. If you remember, she was officially put on a two-week probation notice to stop mutating and start showing me some real cannabis leaves instead of those weird, curly things she’s been throwing out since day one. She is still ridiculously small and hasn’t developed much at all. Honestly, I treat all my plants exactly the same and they never look like this, so I don't know if this is a genetic seed issue or a "me" issue. It is what it is! I'm going to give her exactly one more week to see if any normal, nice leaves decide to make an appearance. If not, it might be time for the compost bin. On the bright side, the tent environment is completely in check. The humidity is consistently sitting comfortably above 62%, and the temperatures are stable, ranging nicely between 21°C and 25°C. I switched up their diet completely, moving away from Canna Coco A and B over to Black Run Coco A and B to see how they respond to the new nutrient profile. As for the big sister, she is doing okay overall, but she has recently started to throw out a few mutated leaves of her own. To manage her growth and shape things up, I decided to top her this week. Let's see how she recovers and looks by next week. Moving on to her little sibling... the drama definitely continues, and this is turning out to be the strangest thing with this strain. Every single new leaf she produces comes out completely mutated. I honestly really don't know what to do with this one at this stage. I've decided to extend her timeline slightly and give her exactly two more weeks to show me if she is finally going to push out some normal growth, or if she's just going to keep up with this persistent mutated leaf problem.
