The setup is a 6x300W led I ordered off of Amazon. Will be using that when the sunlight and temperatures aren't ideal. MacGyvered the grow tent myself with a roll of insulation, duct tape, velcro tape and an emergency blanket.
Put the seed in room temperature water and left it in a dark place overnight. The next day removed the seed from the cup and placed gently into a soaked paper towel. Then put the paper towel into a ziplock bag and half sealed it and placed back into the dark spot and left overnight again. meanwhile I had pre-soaked some Promix BX in 5 gallon deep pots. The next day I removed the seed from the paper towel and planted into the 5 gallon pot. Because I've pre-soaked the pot I will not need to water for the first five days or so. Noticed that the shell was stuck to her so I gently had to remove the seed shell without harming the plant.
Because of the shell issue at the beginning of her life she lagged behind the others in the tent a little bit. Watered about 150 ml of pH water whenever the subsoil felt a bit dry. Will introduce nutrients I'm the next week.
She's becoming pretty short but bushing out quite a bit. Started doing some LST this week to try and get the branches growing away from the plant. Didn't want to stress her out too much though
She looks pretty healthy this week. I think the LST has impacted her vertical growth so I decided to give her a couple days of rest before trying again. She started to preflower this week so it should start to stretch soon. She's spent the majority of her time outside this week because the temperature has been in the mid twenties(Celsius).
She started to flower this week!!! This strain has been a pleasure to grow thus far. Started out a little rough with the shell being stuck to her but she has recovered and caught up to the other ladies in the grow.
This girl is just fattening up every day. Starting to see some of the lower leaves turn yellow. Could be from a cold snap but the flowers are looking good. It's been a pretty gloomy week so she's spent alot of time under the LED and nights inside the house. Hope the weather shapes up!
This lady has seen some good growth in the last week. Going by the strain info we should be over halfway through flower so we've got a few weeks left to go. Flushed at the end of last week and fed early this week. May have fed at the wrong pH because I'm starting to see more and more brown tips on leaves. Will need to purchase a new pH pen so this doesn't happen again. Starting to see alot of purple in this one and she smells fruity and sweet. Kind of like candy.
Starting to see all the leaves on this girl pass away. Don't think it will be much longer now. Fed her full strength nutes again and hope we see some of the lower growth fatten up. The main cola is looking thicc. More and more purple is showing up now and they look and smell delicious. Laid off the Cal Mag this week and it's starting to show some deficiencies in the bottom branches. Will implement again into next feeding
Just waiting for this lady to finish her time. She's been looking smokable for the last two weeks and it's so tempting. She got her last full strength feeding on Wednesday and started flushing towards the end of the week. She's ready for the chopping block!
So this is pretty much the end. Fed her late last week and have given her two waterings of straight rain water. De-foliated alot of yellow leaves today and now she goes into darkness before being chopped. Will update once dry, trim and cure are complete. Looking good so far.
Totally forgot to write a harvest report for this girl and by this time I have already consumed all of her so pictures are minimal. She was an easy strain to grown and responded well to LST. Some overwatering issue in the fifth week may have resulted in a decreased crop but the quality is like none I've smoked. The taste is so clean compared to everything else I've smoked. Will definitely be doing this myself from now on. It's nice to know exactly what is going into your product. I'd comment on the effects of it but it's been a few weeks and being a stoner, I can't remember.... I definitely loved growing this strain and would recommend it to anyone. Thanks to CanUK for some great beans, I was very pleased with the product and have already ordered some other strains of yours to try.
