Raffael 🌱 Z Up from 420 Fastbuds – Starting the second week of vegetative growth The Z Up is now entering its second week of vegetative growth and is showing really stable and even growth. From the very beginning, it has developed in an exceptionally harmonious way and gives off a very vibrant impression. It's particularly nice to see how the lower branches are really catching up now. The branches at the first node are even surpassing the main stem, ensuring that the plant is not just growing upwards but is also spreading out nicely. The leaves look perfect, the development is consistent, and so far, the Z Up shows no signs of trouble. Instead, it presents itself with strong, healthy growth and a very nice, balanced structure. All in all, it has been developing super well so far – a truly beautiful plant that is a real joy to watch grow. 🌿✨ By the middle of the third week, one of the lowest branches has surpassed the main stem, and I have bent the leaves down so that the other side branches also have a chance to keep up and not get overshadowed. I'm curious to see if this plant will create a canopy all on its own. 🙏

Raffael The Z-up from Fast Buds is by far the strongest in the entire bed. It has really taken off and has shown extremely stable and vigorous growth from the very beginning. Although it germinated around the same time as the other plants, it is now about 10 centimeters taller than the rest. And as if that weren't enough, it actually went into flowering yesterday – just on day 21 after germination. So it is really quite a bit ahead of the other plants now. I also really like its structure so far. I carefully bent one shoot at the lowest node that started to overtake the main stem to the side. Just to create a bit more space between the shoots and ensure that everything isn't directly stacked on top of each other. Otherwise, I'm mostly leaving it alone for now and just watching how it develops. However, its extremely fast growth does bring a small problem with it. The other plants are currently lagging behind and developing much slower. As a result, the Z-Up is now so big that it is starting to shade the smaller plants. This is not exactly optimal, as I actually want to provide all the plants with as similar conditions as possible. So, I will let it run like this for a bit and observe how everything develops. In the near future, I will probably also have to adjust the lighting conditions accordingly so that the Z-Up gets enough light during flowering. This might not be entirely optimal for the smaller plants, but since the development is currently so different, I just have to see how to best manage everything. In any case, I'm excited to see what the Z-Up will do in flowering now. So far, it is definitely the absolute surprise in this round.

Raffael Weekly Update: Z-UP The ZUP has shown some really significant growth this week – the main stem has gained a lot of thickness and has become really massive! Compared to the Guava, it is currently about 10–15 cm behind in pure height, but the difference in genetic traits is unmistakable: While the Guava stretches out a lot and shoots up, the ZUP is growing robustly in width and building an extremely solid, compact structure. It looks much more massive overall. If trained properly, I estimate that it can effortlessly fill the entire tent! I’m really amazed at how strong and compact it’s performing. Health-wise, everything looks great so far. I’ve noticed a couple of small spots on two leaves, but no problemo. In Living Soil, this kind of thing happens from time to time – the soil life and the plant usually regulate it quickly on their own, as the genetics just take what they need. The flowering development is also progressing nicely and quickly, which I really like. I’m extremely excited for the next few weeks and I actually expect a lot from the ZUP in this run! 🚀🌿

Raffael Z-Up from FastBuds 🌱 So, let's start with the Z-Up from FastBuds. We're measuring a solid 110 cm with the Z-Up now! And I have to say: What a massive plant! Incredibly thick, incredibly stable, and just massive. This thing spreads out completely and takes up a lot of space. The plant is clearly showing me that definitely no six plants fit in this tent. 😂 Honestly, I didn't think they could get this big in a 100 × 100 cm tent. Especially since I thought that plants that you just let grow, without topping or doing much else, wouldn't spread out so much. Well, I was wrong! What massive things are coming out of here is really crazy. A little mishap with Bat Guano 🦇 Yes, I had a little mishap, though. I was a bit too eager and really wanted to do something. So I asked ChatGPT what else I could do. Among other things, the idea came up to add a bit of phosphorus and other nutrients. Said and done: I spread a teaspoon of Bat Guano around the two plants. Shortly after, the Guava and the Z-Up, the exact two plants where I used the Bat Guano, showed rusty spots on three to four leaves. Most likely, I burned the roots and overloaded the two plants temporarily. However, I don't see this negatively anymore. On the contrary: I can definitely imagine that the two could really use the extra phosphorus right now. The key is, of course, how they react to it. And indeed: After the first day, it looked like a little shock. By the second day, you could already see that the plant was recovering. And now, on day three, the Z-Up is suddenly standing tall again and showing its leaves upwards. It's praying again! 🙏🌱 This definitely puts me in a positive mood. The plants seem to be recovering nicely and are apparently getting back into it. Whether this is directly related to the extra phosphorus, I can't say for sure. But the development over the last few days looks promising. I'm curious to see how this all develops. General condition 🌿 Otherwise, the first lower leaves fell off by themselves after they had turned yellow. So far, that's the most noticeable change in the lower area. Up top, everything looks really nice: lush green, strong leaves, and overall an impressive plant. Aside from the rusty spots that coincide with my action, everything still looks pretty good to me. Lighting 💡 I've also made a little change to the lighting. I've increased the lamp's power to 80% and pulled the lamp completely forward. This way, the Z-Up is now getting light slightly from the side and not directly from above anymore. Still, it’s getting 900 PPFD at the plant. Other than that, there haven't been any further changes or additional nutrient applications. Now I'm curious to see how the plant develops with the new lighting conditions in the coming week.
