Banana Purple Punch Auto

Raffael nice little plant :) so we have reached the end of the first week of veg, the plant is developing relatively well, in terms of size it could still grow a bit, the neighbors of the same age are almost twice as tall, but maybe that will come. Otherwise, it looks pretty good, the initial signs of thrips are no longer visible 👍

Raffael The banana purple punch looks very healthy and has stretched up a bit, considering it was super small in the beginning, that's okay :) this is the first grow where I don't want to do anything at all, and I think the plant is doing quite well since it already had a bit of a harder time than the others, even though the bed is completely homogeneous except for the bokashi that I incorporated a few months ago; it could be that there are better nutrients in some spots.

Raffael So, let's talk about the Banana Purple Punch from 420 Fast Buds. She's just finished her fourth week, is 28 days old, and is now on flowering day 5. So she's really getting into the bloom phase. However, her growth has been a bit slow. She's growing decently and overall doing well, but compared to the other plants, she's definitely stayed smaller. The Guava and the z-up next to her are now about twice her height and are stretching endlessly upwards. The Banana Purple Punch, on the other hand, is staying compact along with the Apple Strudel and is about the same height. Probably a good thing too, because the latecomer lemon cherry in the back corner wouldn't have gotten any light otherwise 😈 But that's probably the little struggle when you're growing six different genetics in one tent. Each strain has its own growth pattern and pace. 😄 Now I'm curious to see how much she'll stretch during the flowering phase. Maybe she'll get a nice boost. Other than that, there's really not much to report. The plant looks healthy overall and only shows minimal yellow tips. Whether that's from the light or has another cause, I can't really assess right now. Since this is all happening in Living Soil, I'm not going to start changing anything drastically. I'll just keep observing her and see how she develops in the coming days. That's it for this week with the Banana Purple Punch. I'm excited to see what she does in the upcoming flowering weeks.

Raffael Weekly Update: Banana Purple Punch & Tent Chaos After it seemed like the flowering was stagnating a bit with the Banana Purple Punch in the last few days, I measured more closely and found out that it was only getting a measly 200 PPFD. So, it was high time for some MacGyver craftsmanship in the tent! I quickly moved the lamp and pulled it forward, so the Banana Purple Punch is now getting a solid 500 PPFD. Sure, the Guava is now getting a bit more light from the side, but the boost has had an immediate effect on the Banana Purple Punch: Since the adjustment, it's noticeably growing and finally developing strong, clean flower sites. The additional side light from the 45-watt lamp in the corner – which was actually meant for the Lemon Cherry – has also really kicked in nicely on the edge. This just shows how challenging a mixed tent run can be. With the extremely different growth heights and germination times, this is currently a real project in canopy management. For next time, it's definitely clear: A proper grow net needs to go in, and the germination phases need to be better synchronized. Speaking of problem children: The Lemon Cherry really needs to step up and grow upwards now. If it doesn't pick up the pace soon, it will be completely overshadowed by the Banana Purple Punch, and we obviously want to avoid that. I guess I'll have to guide it a bit upwards and push it forward soon so it doesn't get left behind.
