AstrasGrow 🌱 The Journey Begins – Germination Update
The first little fighters have made their way into the world! After germinating in peat pellets, the seedlings began pushing through the surface—some more gracefully than others. One of them was still wearing its seed shell like a tiny helmet and needed a little extra time to open up.
They have now been carefully transferred into their final pots and placed in their new home under the grow light. The setup is ready, the environment is stable, and the first true leaves are beginning to appear.
They may still be tiny, but every great grow starts with a single sprout. Now it is time to let the roots settle in and watch these little ones reveal their individual personalities. 💚

AstrasGrow The little ladies are continuing to develop and are already showing their first strong, serrated leaves. Some are growing a little faster than others, but overall they look healthy and vigorous. 💚
As a preventive measure, I covered the soil surface with a layer of quartz sand. This dry barrier is intended to discourage fungus gnats from laying their eggs in the moist soil—prevention is always better than dealing with an infestation later. 🚫
Now the little ones can continue growing peacefully and show what their genetics are capable of. I’m excited to see how differently they develop over the next few days. 🌱✨

AstrasGrow Early Vegetative Stage – Settling In Nicely 🌱
The young plants are settling into their new home and making steady progress. They are developing strong stems, compact internodal spacing and healthy new growth. It is already interesting to see the first small differences in structure and leaf shape between the individual plants.
The top layer of quartz sand is being used as a preventive measure against fungus gnats. So far, everything looks good, and the plants appear healthy and vigorous. Now I’m giving them time to establish their roots and watching closely as each one begins to show its own personality.
A promising start to this new journey! 💚🌱
Quick update 🌱 She recovered perfectly after being FIMmed and is already developing several strong new shoots. Looking healthy, compact, and ready for the next stage! 💚

AstrasGrow Another week of training is complete. After topping/FIMing and removing a few large fan leaves, Blue Pearl is now developing several strong new growth points. The side branches are catching up nicely, and the plant is gradually forming a wider, more even structure.
Some of the fresh growth currently looks a little wrinkled and unusual, so I’ll keep a close eye on it over the next few days. Overall, she remains compact, strong, and a beautiful deep green.
For now, I’ll give her some time to recover before continuing the training. I’m excited to see how her structure develops during the coming week! 🌱💜

AstrasGrow The plant is looking healthy and has developed plenty of strong side growth. I topped the side branches once more and removed the larger fan leaves to open up the canopy and give the inner growth a little more light and space.
That was the final bit of training before the next stage. Starting tonight, I’m switching the light schedule to begin flowering. I’m excited to see how the plant stretches and how the new growth develops over the coming weeks!
