Haven't tasted it yet but will report back in a couple of weeks! *Edit* these buds are only 2 weeks dried and cured but they taste great. The buzz is mild but the high CBD gives a really mellow, pleasant, chill vibe. A friend who only smokes the strongest strains mixed it with his other stuff and reported none of the usual negatives (he sometimes gets anxious and paranoid) - so in a mix it really was the best of both worlds.
My wife made honey with it using a high heat for decarb to maximize the CBD effects. It's great! Very mild, happy buzz. Can still maintain a nice conversation and feels somewhat mind expanding.
Smoked some and it's soooo nice. All the friends I gave it to want more! Good thing I got 170+ grams from the three plants!!!
My first ever grow and I am HOOKED! I can't wait to try some of the others I grew this year and for next year's season.

I feel like the buds packed on some weight at the end of the flowering stage. My first grow so I don't know the difference.
I had 4-5 seeds pop with one turning out to be something completely different; a sativa dominant variety it looks like. It is about twice as tall as the others with long branches and skinny buds - at least for now. It is maturing very slowly and the buds are starting to fill out.
The harvest was great. I could hardly believe my eyes when I calculated about 170g from 3 plants! I have a bunch more in a variety of stages, but this was a very fun and exciting learning experience. The best part is I get some delicious high quality bud to smoke at the end. So much more fun than kale or carrots!

The only reliable way to tell when to harvest is to look at your trichomes through a magnifying glass. Clear= not ready. cloudy= reaching maximum thc levels. Amber= the thc is starting to convert to CBD and other less desirable chemicals. The plant will slow down growth and you will notice the little buds swelling up. The hairs will start to die off. It is a good idea to start monitoring your trichomes when you have about 50% brown pistils(hairs) she will be close then. Good luck

@DILLIGAF, I got a bunch of good answers to help me know when the girls are ready. Started flushing last week just in case, but I think it will be at least another week.
Do you know how to close an open question? I have a few more and would like to ask, but I can't with an already open question.

Watch for the Calyxes to swell. You want most of the callyxes to swell to the point that they mostly swallow the pistils. I've been dissappointed a couple times because I cut when the pistils change color. After they change color the calyxes will swell causing the buds to fatten, after that they start to develop massive amounts of trichomes on the sides of the calyxes. These are the trichomes you desire the most, not the ones on leaves and branches. If you chop earlier than this the bud might be alright, but it will be way better if you let the buds develop lots of trichomes all over fat buds.
