First week of flowering. I tied her down and stripped a lot of the leaves. It was really bushy and a lot of nodes were being covered by fan leaves before the strip.
Pistils now in decent quantity, trichomes starting to form on the sugar leaves and some of the fan leaves. Despite keeping N levels fairly low, she is showing some signs of light N-toxicity, this strain seems to be a very light feeder.
This has been a very tough week in the tent. Suffered at the hands of a pretty bad lockout issue, so did a big flush on them all. They've had a week of water only. At the same time, noticed that there were some signs of WPM on a few of the leaves. Treated with milk solution, and keeping an eye on the situation.
Managed to stop the WPM with an unusual mixture, diluted salt water. It resulted in a touch of phytotoxicity, but was well worth the trade off. Wouldn't have thought it would work since I tried everything, but a long time grower suggested giving it a try. Scent is a bit diffuse on this strain, though a rub gives off a light, sweet candy scent.
There is a touch of foxtailing going on, but nothing too rough at all. Looking at the trichomes, it's definitely time to start the flush. The fade is really beautiful on this plant, with black leaf colouration. Aroma is hard to describe - it's very sweet, while at the same time having a sour touch.
An interesting grow for sure and a bit of a mixed bag in some ways. She was trained heavily before flower, so grew even more squat than standard and she's already a fairly low bushy plant. This pheno was very prone to powdery mildew, my second pheno had much better resistance. Very very frosty, strong hitting unique high that works as an all day smoke. Aroma from this pheno is earthy and gassy with sweet zkittle notes secondary to that.
@Hasard, Extremely hard hitting! The high is very unusual though,it's relaxed and functional in small amounts but when you go big, and smoke a lot it has a tendency to induce anxiety and paranoia, even for an experienced smoker. I do love the smoke though.

Start in small pots...get the little OCEAN FOREST bag...like 0.3g AIR POTS...or Dixie cups????
then transplant to 50/50% Strawberry Fields...Like a 2-4 gallon pot....I go 2.......then 4 all in four weeks.....really no stress transplants....ROOTS GET HUGE....in Gro Pro Root Master pots from Italy.......
thats all you have to do for Substrate....Then just add and GROW NPK WITH NO IRON IN IT.....also buy DEMETERS DESTINY..Oregon's Only nutrient......ITS LIQUID CALCIUM....then get MAGNUM from Humboldt County's Own.....plus a PK BOOST....like Crystal Burst or POTASH PLUS......
I personally like to add the ZEUS JUICE...Humic Acid to aid in uptake all grow every other feeding..and the Medusas Magic till first third of flower.......im going like 330-500ppm.....with just CALCIUM ......and MAGNUM 260ppm every other feeding.....
tell me if you catch more trichomes with that????? OREGONS ONLY IS ALL ORGANIC...Humboldt County's Own isn't.....
But you can find a organic magnesium and sulfur additive and a Oraganic PK BOOST....
do that I bet you catch a lot more trichomes......I CHANGED AFTER A LOT OF READING......I went from mid to late forming trichomes with nice finish frost......to WHOLLY SHIT I GOT END OF PREFLOWER TRICHOMES FORMING....
try it.....louse all extra iron...JUST ADD THE CALCIUM AT ph 6.4 your ten times better I bet......

Looks solid, nice job man! 👍 These new HSO genetics seems to be fine stuff all of them. I've grown Sugar Breath and Sapphire Scout and those were awesome Sugar Breath especially 😍 Now I'm working on The New and Blue Fire but yeah enjoy nice harvest👽🙏
