Week 1. Vegetation
1mo ago
AstrasGrow 🌱 The journey begins! The first seedlings have successfully broken through the surface and are now taking their very first steps above the soil. Some are still wearing their seed shells like tiny helmets, while the first cotyledons are already beginning to unfold. It’s always fascinating to watch new life emerge and see the differences between each seedling right from the start. For now, I’ll give them time, gentle light, and a stable environment while they establish themselves. A promising beginning—and I’m excited to document every step of their journey! 💚

AstrasGrow Vegetation Week 2 🌱 The second week of vegetation has begun. These young plants are still small, but they are making steady progress and developing their next sets of true leaves. Their green colour looks healthy, and the new growth is coming through nicely. Some seedlings are growing a little faster than others, which is completely normal at this early stage. For now, I’m giving them time to establish a strong root system without pushing them too hard. The quartz-sand layer remains in place as a preventive barrier against fungus gnats. Slow and steady—let’s see how they develop over the coming week! 💚

AstrasGrow Deep State is still developing at her own pace. She remains noticeably smaller and more compact than Blue Pearl, but she is steadily producing fresh growth and new side shoots. The new leaves look slightly wrinkled and uneven in places, so I’m keeping a close eye on her development. For now, I’m giving her time to establish herself without adding any further training or unnecessary stress. She may be the smaller one at the moment, but I’m curious to see how she develops over the next few weeks. Sometimes the slow starters turn out to be the biggest surprise! 🌱

AstrasGrow The plants are looking lush and bushy, with plenty of fresh growth developing at the tops and along the side branches. I topped the side branches again and removed some of the larger fan leaves to open up the canopy and let more light reach the inner growth. They’re still in the vegetative stage and haven’t been switched to flower yet. I’ll let them continue growing in veg for now and keep an eye on how they respond to the latest topping and defoliation. So far, I’m happy with how they’re developing!

AstrasGrow Final week of veg! 🌱 The girls have filled out beautifully and are looking lush and full of life. Today, I’m switching things up and sending them into flower. I’m excited to see how they stretch and develop over the next few weeks. Let the next chapter begin! 🌸✨
