TvrdaPalice Right after germination, I managed to overwater the Jiffy. The plant immediately showed it – the inner leaves started to show signs of necrosis, the stem turned purple, and the cotyledons got spotted. I carefully squeezed the Jiffy and honestly expected it wouldn’t make it, and I would have to start over.
But about 8 hours later, it showed a will to live – it started to straighten up, and the leaves in the middle were beautifully green again. The defects didn’t completely disappear, of course, but I decided to give it a chance, and I’m curious to see what it will eventually grow into.
The roots have already grown through the Jiffy, so I transplanted it today into a 3L pot with Biobizz Light-Mix substrate, into which I mixed BioTabs Mycotrex.
